I never really knew what was going on, and the crews didn't seem interested in helping me understand. This year, I finally found someone who's different. John responded to my Yelp post quickly, was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted the work. He handled the opening, does weekly maintenance, and has taken the time to walk me through the different components so I can take on some upgrades myself. Can't say enough good things about John. He's easy-going, reliable, and has been maintaining pools across the Island for over 15 years. For my neighbors in and around Port Jefferson, the Three Villages, Mount Sinai, and Miller Place--John's been coming out to me, and he's a rare find if you're looking for honest, hands-on pool support. I'm so glad I connected with him and finally have my pool under control.

I hired him to set up my above-ground pool in 2024. Before the installation, I specifically asked…read morehim to place it in the middle of the yard because that area was flatter. Instead, he insisted on putting it in a different spot, assuring me that he had leveled the ground and that it would be fine. The pool looked okay at first, but it only lasted one season. Last year, the liner ripped, and I initially thought it was my fault. This year, I had another pool professional come inspect it, and they immediately pointed out that the original installation was done very poorly. They found that there were tree roots underneath the pool that had continued to grow, causing the ground to become uneven and the pool to lose its level. I was also told that the area should never have been used in the first place because of the roots. I trusted his judgment when he assured me the spot was properly leveled, but it turns out that wasn't the case. While the pool may have looked fine initially, the poor placement and installation ended up costing me a damaged liner and additional repair expenses just a year later. I would not recommend this service based on my experience. If I could give a 0 star;I would.
