Honestly, I can't give higher then a 3 review because I could not purchase anything here. Every single item I was interested in purchasing was made with coconut. I am allergic, ( anaphylactic shock), so I basically walked out with nothing. The store was very clean and the workers were helpful in answering my questions.

Quiet Paris baguette at the end of corner of the strip mall. It was quiet bc boo boo and I got dessert here after dining at the KBBQ spot next door 30mins before their closing time. Seating could be limited if you came at a busy time. Plenty of free parking at the parking lot. Cc accepted, clean bathroom. Not sure about Wifi.

my 60th birthday surprise cake! Red Velvet Cream

Our lovely Nurse Marites (Tess) brought me a birthday cake from here the other day. It comes complete with a cake cutter with Match sticks in the handle, candle, matches and beautifully boxed with a built I handle. The packaging is really impressive and even better the cake was absolutely delicious. She gave me a red velvet cream cake, it had fresh blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, chocolate curls and red velvet crumbs around the sides of the cake. It was super fresh, light, creamy and quite frankly probably the best cake I have ever had! Nothing heavy about it, not too sweet and just light as air. I had. never heard of this place but it was so terrific, I had to share this review and photo she took after I opened the box! Cannot wait to go there and try another cake for my next gathering.

This location is conveniently located next to the H Hart on Broad Ave in NJ. Staff was friendly. There are a few tables if you want to chill and enjoy a lazy afternoon. When we were there on a late afternoon on a weekend, there wasn't a wide range of cakes available. The bakeries were always fresh and delicious. PS: unlike in most Chinese bakeries where you would put the thong back to where it belonged, the staff told us that we should just bring it to the counter as they would wash each thong to avoid food contamination (ie say if you use it to pick up an item that consists of peanuts, they want to make sure the thong is clean otherwise you may use it to touch something else that the next person may be allergic to). Good idea.

The cakes here are always fresh and delicious ... and we were so happy that they offered a birthday cake with a confetti explosion center! I placed a special order with the manager, Joelimarie, who truly went above and beyond to help me with this order. I called numerous bakeries before talking to her, and she genuinely cared to find a cake that fit the party theme. Thank you!! All I had to do was add unicorn figurines (I bought them) and the candles that they provided. The cake was a hit with the kids and adults. (My kid wanted to add: I loved it!)

Bread is a-OK, nothing special to write home about.

I don't enjoy writing bad reviews but I'm hoping my honest feedback can help improve the overall performance of this particular location. My experience was more like one star at best but I am giving 2 star for satisfactory taste of bakery items that is consistent throughout most of PB locations, being a chain bakery. I stopped by after shopping at Hmart today and when I went up to the register with the box of items, I noticed the cake case to my right. I said to the young employee at the counter, "can I put this down for a moment?" referring to the box where I had put my selection of items. And the way she responded was just plain rude and disrespectful. She never greeted or smiled once and just looked at me like I was the dumbest person and asked, "what, are you going somewhere??" I replied, no, I'm just going to grab a slice of cake from the case and need to put this down. She then said she will get the cake instead. Fine. Another girl from the back came to help me finish paying for my items. The bag and boxes were still behind the plastic divider when the transaction was finished, and instead of pulling it out to the side so I can more easily grab them, they just stood there and watched me struggle to pull the bags under the divider. As a final attempt to give them a chance to redeem themselves, I started walking away slowly and again no thank you or good bye. I said good bye finally and they didn't say anything back and just looked at me with the same lifeless, stone faced expression. Look, I was born and raised in S. Korea as a kid and Paris Baguette always used to be a super affordable neighborhood bakery chain. Kind of like Applebee's of bakery. I still remember just a few years back before PB exploded and started popping up everywhere beyond Korean community heavy areas like Queens. At that time, they were still known for great value. Now, I feel like PB has reached a point where they expanded so quickly so much that quality control not just in terms of the bakery goods but of the employees is becoming a challenge. My overall sentiment is that it's now become overrated. I usually get my Korean bakery favorites from a small bakery attached to Hmart which often has 4 or 5 items for $7.99 deal and they taste classic and homey, just like how I remember eating in Korea. Today, I was feeling nostalgic for PB bread and made an exception but after spending nearly $20 for 5 items and getting zero hospitality let alone a single smile or an acknowledgement for the business I gave them, I won't be returning to this location ever until there is some major re-training of the employees on customer service. Even if I reviewed strictly on the bread alone, for such basic, your typical Korean bakery items that aren't any more special than those of the competitors, I just cannot justify the price points anymore.

My favorite drink ice chocolate milk from this place!

They always make my ice chocolate drink to perfection, just every pastry in this place is delicious, yum.

Nice surprise to find a Paris Baguette next to the H Mark While in K-Town NJ. So I went in to compare notes to the Manhattan joints and found this about the same size with better tables and seats but less items like no little milk jar puddings at the time and a smaller selection of cakes. But I did find two items that I never saw in Manhattan. The first was a Walnut Bread loaf, but the second was Shaved Ice. They had a few flavors in two sizes, cups and bowls at $6.95 and $11.95. So I got the Strawberry Coconut cup, and it was really really good. It had fresh cut strawberries, shredded coconut, some drizzle of strawberry syrup and ice cream. I really couldn't tell the ice cream flavor but it was not a vanilla but maybe a coconut. Even after it all melted I kept taking spoonfuls at every red light and did a circus seal act by having my head back and the cup on my nose trying to get the last drop. Now I'm thinking if PB is this good what about the shops in Manhattan the specialize in shave ice? Wowowowowo I'm coming.

    On available from 1:30-9:30

I always like Paris Baguette... it's a little bit pricy, but I guess you get what you pay for... pastry is always fresh, but sometime they ran out quickly if you go during weekend or late afternoon... but I love their cold coffee (I usually order it with cream and sugar)... you don't need to add any more sugar or milk... taste perfect... don't a big fan of the hot coffee though... guess I am so used to SB... but in the summer.. do try their redbean greentea ice... the large one is HUGE and you can share with at least 3 people. Especially in these kind of hot weather!!! Should try it...

We not only got some cakes for a family celebration, but also checked out their drinks/desserts in person. -The soba pudding had a great smooth custard texture which was contrasted with the nut cookie on top. The soba flavors come through if you just try the pudding part, but does get overpowered by the caramel sauce. -The sesame berry dacquoise surprised me! It was almost like a macaron x meringue, kinda chewy but also flaky and delicate. I'm not a huge berry fan but it wasn't too strong nor tart, and actually very nicely complemented the earthy sesame flavors. -The matcha tiramisu comes in a small dessert form but also a big cake that my family got to try. I liked the balance of bitter matcha flavors and the clean cream, and how it wasn't too dry or wet. I enjoyed the chewy matcha layer in particular. -The mango mousse was a little too tart for me but I think my party enjoyed the vibrant mango flavors mixed with the simple cream. Both cakes were not too sweet! -The hojicha latte was a little too milky and diluted the tea flavors. Patisserie Fouet is now tucked into the entrance space of Raku Midtown. It's a perfect segway into dinner or as a post dinner dessert space. There is a row of high top seating for dine-in and requires an order from each person in the party. I can see how it might get crowded. Staff were polite but towards the end it felt very rushed. The online cake order and the store pick-up were both straightforward. Sounds like this place has changed a lot and I'm curious how they continue to evolve in their new location.
