Bonjour! A Paris pastry shop that also has (pre-packaged) gluten free and vegan items. I was not expecting it but I was able to choose between a coffee cake or chocolate cake. I got the coffee cake, it's small but it was good and the price point was great seeing that it was the same as the other non gluten pasties around. I also grabbed a blueberry matcha off the summer menu, tasted great. The blueberry flavor wasn't over powering of the matcha. Lots of pastries to choose from, cakes in the fridge to pick from or grab and go section with some lunch items. Plenty of items to still grab from around 11am. A cinnamon twist donut and a s'mores croissant, is what my mom grabbed from the selection. She mentioned the pastries tasted light and airy (not heavy or a thick donut texture). Also grabbed a s'mores frappe; blended with hot chocolate. The cashier we had wasn't very friendly, kinda felt a little rushed. The drinks also took awhile to come out, but they did taste great. I can confidently say this is one bakery my whole family will agree on. That is saying a lot!!! Everyone has different favorites, so it's hard to pick a place that will satisfy everyone's sweet tooth. Believe it or not, my kids aren't a huge fan of Porto's. So we were so happy when Paris Baguette opened a location in Porter Ranch. If you are going to a friend's house this is my go to for a cake. The cakes are absolutely beautiful but somehow they actually taste better than they look. The cakes are incredibly light, fluffy and not overly sweet. We love picking up the Milk Bread, mochi donuts and croissants for a quick breakfast. My advice take a friend and get one of everything, you won't regret it. You might be pleasantly surprised which is your favorite. read more

I absolutely love popping into the Paris Baguette Bakery in Northridge to splurge and treat myself to something sweet or savory! They have such a great selection of so many delicious pastries, perfectly baked croissants and they have a beautiful selection of specialty cakes in different sizes. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Today, I decided to try an iced matcha latte with 2% milk. The matcha comes pre sweetened and it was excellent! Perfect ratio of matcha flavor & sweetness. I had the Pain aux Raisins today and it really hit the spot. So fresh and tasty. I have always had great service at this location and the shop is always clean, bright and well stocked with goodies. They also have a ready made section with some sandwiches. Vegan options too! Different grab and go drinks. They have some indoor and outdoor seating. Depending on the time of day parking is either easy or may take a few minutes to find a spot. read more

I recently visited this Paris Baguette location. I visited late afternoon, but shelves were still full. They had a lot of pastries on the display which made the decision making harder. I would like to give Abraham( cashier) a big shout out. I couldn't decide which cake slice to get so I asked him. He recommended me chocolate cake which was amazing. I really enjoyed the slice. I will make sure to get the same thing next time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is very clean and there is plenty of seats. They also have a nice outdoor seating area too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is easy too since it is located in a shopping plaza. There were plenty of spots to park. Paris Baguette never disappoints. Paris Baguette did not disappoint! They had so many pastries to choose from and Many cake options too. I ordered a Cappuccino Cake, it smelled good and it was moist not dry at all. Paris Baguette, in Northridge at the junction of Devonshire and Reseda, is a welcome mainstay addition to this franchise. It's here. I've been several times, especially in the early days when there was too much of growing pains, un settlement. Subdued chaos. However, this is an establishment that is bold enough to set up shop in a very close environment, to an iconic, (extremely popular) Cuban establishment with a multitude of consistent offerings in numerous bakery departments. Competing with these so called giants, needs true guts. So you have to give Paris Baguette high credit, for standing tall, or even starting here in this highly competitive environment. During my recent visit, I saw improvement, several new items, some shelves empty, a sign of progress (in the afternoon) that's how it should be. I only got the almond croissant (just had lunch somewhere else in this plaza). The croissant was good, slightly hard on outside, with optimum filling and numerous sliced almonds on the top. Nice looking. Still with crunch, just slightly dry. However here, Customer service still needs more improvement (just like before). A young crowd at the register is always chatting, amongst themselves, ignoring patrons and hence a cold reception, when you come to them, to pay. Zero customer focus. There's no smile, there's no greeting. There's just a boiler plate mechanized response, so you can pay and get out of the place. I used to visit Paris baguette in Encino, for many years. Though a smaller dining space, that customer service was so inviting, attentive register people, warm and welcoming. Sorry to compare. I generally do not do this. But then, truths are stubborn. This should be taken in a constructive mode....only if you desire to improve. read more

Ordered a the milk and berries cake yesterday for a friend and let me tell you. The cake was so perfect and it tasted so good. It wasn't too sweet which I like about my desserts. Fruits were so fresh as well. The staff added candles, and a cake slicer. The cake slicer even had a match inside the handle which was so useful. Great pastries overall, and they sell coffee there as well. So although in my original review I said I'd never be back, I guess I lied. I ordered from there today and what a difference! I got a chocolate drizzle croissant, almond pastry, cream cheese pastry, and a chocolate chip scone. Also got an iced caramel latte and a mango smoothie. Everything was so good! Flaky, soft in the right places and crunchy in the others, and so flavor packed. The drinks were also perfection. I have no critiques at all and can't wait to go back again. In regards to my last review which was negative, I ordered right before closing so I'm assuming I was getting the end of the day items versus fresh items today. read more

Prosciutto, Fig & Goat Cheese Pizzetta is a tasty new pastry at PB, with plethora of flavor notes, good crisp to it and different taste notes working together in harmony, creating a true umami effect. You get some savory from prosciutto and goat cheese, along with a bit of sweet from the fig. Definitely a good combo. This location has an awesome outside patio next to a water feature, which made my dining very relaxing. The service is friendly and professional. Will definitely be back! read more

I was curious with what's good in this place so I decided to stop by and I'm glad I did! My favorite are Dubai Mochinut, Almond croissants, soft cheesecake and vegan chocolate chip muffin. I'll start with saying the pastries and drinks are nice. That's it. This was my first time at the Porter Ranch location, and will likely be my last. The staff is unbearably rude. They are more concerned about being on their phones or messing around with their fellow employees than helping the patrons. The lady in front of me had to knock on the glass partition to get their attention, as they were just hanging out on their phones, not paying attention to anyone. I can't believe any of them have ever had any training in the service industry. And PB's corporate office likely does not conduct any audit or review for their branches, at least not this one. Reading other recent reviews, this is clearly not a new development. The lack of professionalism, makes me question whether the food they serve is actually safe or clean. I wouldn't trust these employees to run a clean and professional environment. read more

This review is based off just the matcha. I haven't had an opportunity to try the treats and pastries but I can vouch for the matcha! I needed a midday pick me up and the match hit just right. I can't lie, I am not a fan of the pastries here because not everything needs to have icing or cream in the middle. What I am a fan of, are there beverages. The Peach Ice Tea is hands down the best tea beverage in my opinion (better than Starbucks)! They have a seasonal beverage too called the Iced Blueberry Macchiato that tastes like biting into a sees candy. If you're looking for a good beverage, this spot won't disappoint. read more

First time coming here due to a friend's recommendation. Pastries here are amazing, certainly worth the price. I was more excited to try the coffee, however, I was disappointed in that. I got the salted caramel pretzel cold brew. Not my favorite coffee, the taste wasn't good and unfortunately I wasn't able to even finish it. Their pastries are on point. I enjoy their Strawberry Soft Cream Cake Slice which is Vanilla cake filled with soft cream and strawberries, topped with a strawberry. I also enjoy their Croissant Donut which is a flaky croissant donut filled with custard cream, topped with lemon icing. Both are great options that will satisfy that sweet tooth. Always an adventure when I go to a Paris Baguette. If you love sweets especially pastries, then this place will put a smile on your face. I tried the Dubai strawberry pastry and it was sooo good, nice and crunchy with a sweet creamy filling. Of course the pain chocolat never fails! My daughter had the prosciutto sandwich and I had the fresh mozzarella with pesto. Both excellent but make sure to nuke it in the air fryer to give the baguette a crunchy texture. Service was very good, very nice and friendly staff! Store is beautifully laid out, very enticing and easy to tempt me with all the pastries!!! A definite must try!!! read more

There was a young man at the counter who welcomed us with a wonderful smile. He said his name is Said (pronounced Sa-eed) and asked if it was our first time here. We said it was, so he offered to give us some samples of their most popular bake goods. He said it is made of light custard and it's called soft cake and it is traditional pastry from his country in Uzbekistan that his mother bakes all from scratch. In Asia we also don't like overly sweet cakes so we thought it sounded to fit our taste preferences. And we loved it after trying! My mom said it tastes very similar to the cake she had back in Seoul in her childhood she misses fondly, but she could never have that same taste. Just a little sweeter. But the custard and texture of the cake is just the same. We also got the eclair. And it was pretty good too. But definitely recommend the soft cake!! Sooo yummyyy!! I also got the strawberry cold foam matcha latte and my mom got a small americano coffee. She said it's the best coffee she had in a cafe. Of course superb compared to Starbucks or any other coffee franchise. She says American coffee shops always burn their beans so it tastes burnt, but this place roasted the beans just right. And we also loved the strawberry cold foam matcha. I don't know how, but it tasted like really strawberry was in the drink!! My mom said it's the best strawberry milk she ever had here and in Korea! And she wants to order again when we come by next time. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Food and drinks were all prepared with such care, but given at a reasonable time. Some of these cafes take forever to make your drinks, even Starbucks makes you wait 20 minutes! These other coffee shops make it seem like they're doing some complex chemistry experiment how long it takes for just a drink! But this young guy he makes the drink in under 5 min and it tastes 10x better anything those other coffee shops make, but in less than half the time! I really thought maybe it was really hard making drinks, but this young dude makes it look like a walk in the park, the speed and ease he cranks out the drinks. I think Uzbekistan people must be just built different! and he was also so kind and pleasant taking the time to explain and answer all our questions. Some of these other places wouldn't even bother or make it feel like you're pulling a nail from them the way they grimace. He was so nice we wanted to give a tip, but he even said he didn't want us to. He'd happily accept just our enjoying the food and drinks and would appreciate if we left a review for his cafe. just had to leave a review. Especially after how nice he is. And hearing his story and how it's a family run bakery with the mom baking and son making drinks and running front counter. And an authentic European bakery!! Wow! I was impressed by the level of communication received and also the ease of placing an order. I was a bit nervous when I had to pick up the cake because I wasn't sure if there were any mishaps since I placed the order so long ago. AG got his java jolt, and I was able to order a decaf crafted beverage that satisfied my taste buds. $48, four drinks, and multiple pastries to go later, we were headed out the door. Whew! The layout of this particular location is a little odd. Though one can eat in, it doesn't feel like that welcoming of a space. It's mostly about the cases and shelves of baked goods, as far as how the floor plan is set. The counter service people were helpful with answering questions on the options for the drink orders. We did share some of our treats with the parentals at home. The prices at this bakery are very fair. We did get quite a few items.

If you want some good French pastries or Korean ones come here you won't be disappointed. Not to mention coffee is good too. When I need a quick fix I come here on days the actual French bakery I like isn't open or when it's a meeting day it's good to go in and out quickly. Good service too read more

He said it is made of light custard and it's called soft cake and it is traditional pastry from his country in Uzbekistan that his mother bakes all from scratch. In Asia we also don't like overly sweet cakes so we thought it sounded to fit our taste preferences. And we loved it after trying! My mom said it tastes very similar to the cake she had back in Seoul in her childhood she misses fondly, but she could never have that same taste. Just a little sweeter. But the custard and texture of the cake is just the same. We also got the eclair. And it was pretty good too. But definitely recommend the soft cake!! Sooo yummyyy!! I also got the strawberry cold foam matcha latte and my mom got a small americano coffee. She said it's the best coffee she had in a cafe. Of course superb compared to Starbucks or any other coffee franchise. She says American coffee shops always burn their beans so it tastes burnt, but this place roasted the beans just right. And we also loved the strawberry cold foam matcha. I don't know how, but it tasted like really strawberry was in the drink!! My mom said it's the best strawberry milk she ever had here and in Korea! And hearing his story and how it's a family run bakery with the mom baking and son making drinks and running front counter. And an authentic European bakery!! Wow!
