I love French food and willing to pay top $ for it. This is definitely on the high end. The fixed prices/package can get confusing - 2 course vs 3 soup/appetizer/salad dessert vs. 3 course meals. There were 4 of us and we fot to try several appetizers, soups, salad and one had steak. What's great: Foie gras and braised lamb really hit the spot. Creme brule did not disappoint. Okay: scallops - was just as good anywhere; French onion soup was too thick - would have liked more broth Forget it - steak was well done and chewy when it was supposed to be medium. Wine was too pricey $78 for a bottle of 2013 Merlot and I really didnt care for it even when I tasted it but felt pressured to take it. My husband & I have enjoyed several special evenings at the Saint Emilion Restaurant, the predecessor of Paris 7th. We eagerly anticipated the same or better quality of food & service on our anniversary dinner, the day before Father's Day. Unfortunately, the restaurant was very busy & understaffed. Chris was the only waiter in sight & he seemed hurried & flustered. Service was slow & impersonal with several different wait-staff serving us. I had to wait a very long time for my water glass to be refilled & had to look for someone to take our drink order. A lot of this could be overlooked if the food had been exceptional. Sadly, it was not. The lobster bisque appetizer had not one piece of lobster in it & was lukewarm when served. (They should try Pappadeaux's bisque to get a taste of a great lobster bisque.) While the scallop appetizer had a good flavor, it too, was served barely warm. My husband had the porterhouse steak & I had the filet. Both were cooked well & came out the correct temperature but the sides that came with it were cold, not just lukewarm. And finally, the dessert which was labeled a Grand Marnier crepe soufflé was actually a rather bland flat crepe & not a fluffy soufflé in a ramekin as was expected. All in all it was a very disappointing meal for the $225 we spent. I truly wished we had spent that money at Del Frisco's, Capital Grille or Ruth's Chris & had our expectations met. Both of our parents are home bound and we have been for a week due to this crazy time in history so we decided to order take out from our favorite dine in restaurant. Wow - food was just as good as dining in. We ordered the fish of the day, beet salad - simply delicious for my mother in-law, the coq cu vin which was amazing for us and my parents had the beef bourguignon for two and they loved it. Then for dessert we had the cremes caramel for two which was creamy and delicious. We can't wait to visit the dining room when it reopens but in the interim we plan on takeout!!! Absolutely wonderful. From the caviar to the main courses, all of it is fabulous. I have eaten at some nice places all over the globe, this is on par with the tops. Sure it's not a super fancy looking joint from outside, but have you been to a restaurant in Paris? Neither are they. Food is better than The Mansion or French Room in my opinion. We had entrees, main meals, and deserts. The food went from mediocre to bad. Our server, with his fake French accent, was pretentious. He seemed offended that we did not order wine with our meal. St Emilions has always been one of our favorites! However, last night was not a very good experience. I took my husband for his birthday and we had escargot that ended up just basically being mushrooms with some melted cheese on top, the pate had very little flavor and the mussels were so-so. I usually don't right reviews because I know how hurtful people can be. Yes, the prices are great but I would rather pay more for higher quality of the food. Rusty was a bit off putting by acting as though he were a chef and knew "nothing" about wine. I mean really? I understand having a sommelier but a chef still needs to understand pairings. It sadly felt like we were at Applebees or something similar. Lastly, please don't ask for "Special Occasion" information on your reservation site if you are not going to do something about it. I had included that it was my husband's birthday but it was never addressed-I kept waiting. Had I known nothing was going to be said or acknowledged I would have said something but the check was delivered and it was a little late to fix the situation. This is all said with love and hopes that this information can help and be able to mend some issues. Running a business and getting good help is a difficult task. We will be back to experience this wonderful place again just hope it is better next time. read more

Have to say everything about this place was horrible. Food not near as good as St Emillion, service ok until they begged for tips at the end saying the service charge only paid their salary and they would appreciate anything extra, food obnoxiously overpriced and they make you spend a minimum and upcharge for everything. Having eaten French food all over the world and was eager to try while in Fort Worth recently, simply put this 'highly recommended" place disappointed me. Its food was so over salted I could taste the actual food. I don't think the locals know genuine delicious French food from fake French food. Although the portions were definitely Texan The actual quality was definitely not French. The service was rxtraidinsry. The ambiance was nice, although located in a sterile small shopping center. St Emilion, now Paris 7, was my favorite restaurant for big celebrations.. so we decided to celebrate a birthday.. which l mentioned several times.. food was good , we had beef , duck al orange, but service was just ok.. very slow.. I guess they were shorthanded .. They never said happy birthday, they didn't have a small gesture, that we appreciate in ' regular' restaurants for celebrations , but coming here, l was expecting at least a happy birthday.. or 'petite fours ' .. Extremely Expensive for what we got.. l don't think l will return... We celebrated my wife's birthday here on 5/4/19 and are really happy to have chosen this place. The service was attentive and very informative. The food was consistently delicious for all 4 of us. The steak tartare was just perfect. It is a favorite of mine, and they were very nice to make it as a main course instead of a appetizer for me. We loved the boeuf bourguignon. The desserts were incredible. Just the right amount of sweetness. We had plenty of leftovers to take home. Will be back for sure. read more

We had a bad experience at Paris 7th on New Year's Eve. With a 6:00 setting, the four of us-2 couples-waited an hour or so for a bottle of wine. We had wine and the other couple a glass or 2 of champagne as he doesn't drink. At 7:30 we had gotten no food from our price fixe dinner of 4 courses. Our appetizer, when finally delivered was terrific and we were looking forward to Parsnip soup. Eventually, when served it was cold and had to be sent back with little or no apology. When heated, it was very good. Our seafood special entree was also served cold and had to be reheated. It, as well, was delicious when heated. Creme Brulee for dessert was wonderful. When our bill was delivered, it was in one lump sum. When we asked to have it split, as it should have been, we were told, "that will take a long time". We simply split the cost. Paris 7th was not on it's A game that night. We left sometime after 9:15 and will probably not return. I thought it a good idea to email or call to express our feelings as I would want to know if I owned the place. I did not want to leave a bad review online but there was no place to email the restaurant and I left a message two days in a row. read more

This is one of our favorite restaurants and we are consistent diners there. We had dinner there tonight. This is the first time we were very disappointed. The tables and/or chairs were NOT 6 feet apart. The restaurant was very crowded -happy about that but we felt sandwiched in and we were next to a table ( not 6 feet apart) where someone was coughing. We asked to be moved. The wait staff was wonderful but when I spoke to Bernard (the owner) he mumbled under his breath. I asked what he said and he said the chairs were 6 feet apart- they were not! Once we got moved he never came over to talk to us . It felt like he cared more about his profits then the safety of his guests. His staff was way more concerned and attentive than he was. We are regular customers for many years and this was the worst experience-so bad I felt compelled to write a review -for the safety of my fellow diners. Clearly Bernard does not care. They said they removed tables but they still were not not spaced out. I love this restaurant and am so disappointed. I'm not sure I can get my husband to go back. Bernard was aloof and not concerned. Very troubling as he has such a wonderful staff. I hope he treats them better than his customers . Food was phenomenal -a 5. Safety during Covid and Bernards attitude was a 1. So, tonight let's call it a 2 due to safety concerns-I've always rated it a 5 -sad. read more
