The store is cute, has a variety. Came to grab a gelato. Service was okay not great. Hazelnut 6/10 (tasted more like dulce leche than hazelnut) Mango 9/10 (Flavor was good, but a little softer than normal)

Stopped by here at PARFAIT PARIS . I had the MANGO BLISS for a small snack. It was a nice presentation of the Mango bliss and it's actually pretty good and the mango flavors really stand out. Service was quick and nice. No indoor seating but plenty of tables and chairs just in front of the store coz they are located at the second floor of Fashion Valley Mall. This Parfait Paris is at the mall so plenty of parking around.

Super cute pastry and gelato shop. Love that they have some many varieties of pastries, food items and drink. Mango dragon fruit energy ice sparkling tea was basic. Not worth the $6.75. Half the drink was filled with ice.

4.5/5 Overview: gelatos were amazing, creamy texture, and flavors were very strong and rich; service was excellent, shoutout to Alex! ---- My only gripe is that they don't have prices listed for the items in their pastry case, they used to so I don't why they changed it :( ---- Gelato small (2 scoops) $7.50; medium (3 scoops) $11 Flavors: - vanilla - chocolate - cookies and cream - pistachio blossom flower - ube caramel - strawberry - hazelnut Sorbet flavors: - blood peach & hibiscus - mango passion fruit - lemon, lime & basil - apricot boost ---- I got the pistachio and the mango sorbet which were amazing, such strong flavors I really loved the pistachio. The pistachio was dominant over the blossom flower flavor (I didn't taste any floral notes which in my opinion was a good thing!) I tried the ube caramel which was delicious as well! You are able to sample the flavors before you buy them which was perfect. Alex was super sweet and patient while we decided on which flavor to get. ---- Notes: - located on the second floor next to the amc theater - has a large variety of desserts which all looked so good but didn't have the prices displayed for the ones in the case - offers drinks, crepes, and sandwiches - pretty small and quiet shop - plenty of seating outside in the mall and food court area ---- Overall: flavorful gelatos, wonderful service (thank you so much Alex!), picture-perfect sweets, if they added the prices for all of their items it would be a 5/5 stars, I'm excited to come back and try out more of their products

Got a crepe and these two pastries. The hazelnut was fine but they got lazy with toppings on top. The Yuzu tart pastry was overwhelmingly eggy/fishy. I don't know if they used old eggs or what but tasted horrible and we are throwing it away. Man that was disgusting... for $13 too is crazy fod garbage quality.

My review is just for the pastries (since I have not yet tried any food menu items). First off, this location is small, but mighty! They offer an array of beautiful and delicious pastries, gelato, sandwiches and more! When I walked it, I was immediately greeted by staff. I then saw all the gorgeous bakery items, like the giant croissants, the beautiful mango pastries, macaroons, etc. It was hard to choose what to get. I particularly love a good chocolate croissant and Parfait Paris did not disappoint. Can't wait to come back soon and try more menu items!

    Mocha

The coffee at this place is actually abysmal! I got a mocha here and all I could taste was milk, no cocoa and no espresso. This was a $7 drink too! I don't blame the employees though, they seem quite overworked, the management could do better probably.

This place was beautiful! Couldn't miss this when I was passing by Fashion Valley shops! I tried some of the macarons and it was so delicious. Ben was super helpful! Highly recommend coming here, atmosphere is bright and lovely! Staff is super helpful, service was pretty fast

It was Black Friday at the Mission Valley Mall in San Diego, and while waiting for Saint Laurent to open we decided on Parfait Paris for morning refreshment. Selecting the Ham & Egg Croissant, and the French BLT and a couple of Americano coffees we proceeded to window shop while the food was prepared. Approximately 20 minutes later we received our order. The coffee was indicative of a perfectly brewed black coffee; the highlight of the meal was the sandwiches. The Parma ham was delicious and added that special something to the BLT and complemented the egg in the croissant sandwich. Prices were typical for slightly exotic mall cuisine. Recommend for breakfast

Tried a mix of savory and sweet: the Curry Pan was good but didn't totally wow me, while the chocolate, strawberry ribbon, and matcha croissants were all really solid -- especially because they weren't overly sweet. The surprise favorite was the caviar bread: salty, fishy, briny topping on crusty bread that somehow just worked SO well. We also split a croque monsieur which was warm, cheesy, and perfect to balance out all the pastries. I wish they had real cutlery (vs only plastic disposables) for dine in customers. Our family shared all these goodies and a plastic knife was no match for some of them. Overall, really good quality pastries and breads, worth the early lineup. Their cakes may be pricey, but…read morein my opinion, for the amount of work, effort, and quality of ingredients, I think they continue to be fair. For example, some other specialty bakeries/shops are charging similar prices for cakes and cheesecakes that are much simpler. In comparison, Extraordinary Dessert cakes take 3-4 days to make, have 6-8 alternating layers, and are typically adorned with edible gold and/or flowers. The key is to find which items you like and which are okay to pass on next time. What we ried this time: -Match Misu Cake (7/10): ricotta cake layers soaked in matcha and layered with marscapone whipped cream. This one was pretty good and ranks in my middle to high range. I only wish there was more matcha flavor (maybe if you dine in and get the sauce, this would help) or the matcha was paired with another flavor ... either go fruity (maybe a raspberry sauce, strawberry pieces, white peach pieces, or like a peach oolong cream layer) or go chocolately/coffee (maybe had some crushed up chocolate covered espresso beans). My go to's: -Ivoire Royale (10/10) - my ultimate favorite still. If you like light desserts, white chocolate, berries, and moist vanilla cake, thus one is for you. Classy and unpretentious -Shangrila (10/10) - my other favorite and will make you feel like a princess with all the pink chocolate curls. A little bit adventurous and innocently elegant. Ones to skip: -Au Chocolate / La Bete Noire / Dame Chocolate - get the Viking instead. That's my favorite of all their chocolate cakes -Lemon ricotta - get the Passionfruit Ricotta instead -Torta misu - the matcha misu is better. The tortilla misuse made me want a regular piece of tirmaisu than a cake version -Coconut cream - not bad, not amazing though

We politely asked if it would be possible to purchase a small cup of fruit , even just a couple strawberries cut up, because one child in our group cannot have sweets due to very strict dietary restrictions . Instead of simply saying they were unable to accommodate the request or offering another option, we were told to "go somewhere else," despite already spending the amount we did . The complete lack of professionalism and basic customer service was honestly shocking. It's disappointing to be treated that way at a place we have supported so consistently. Flour Atelier is a small bakery right next to the hovering Mitsuwa. They carry two refrigerated sections' worth of original treats and pastries, many with Asian flavors such as their ube leche flan and calamansi cheesecake. I'm a gluten free girly nowadays, but when I could eat their desserts I did love their cheesecake: a balance of cream-to-crust is important to me. And those flavors? Standout. Hard to find many other places. They also have tea and coffee, and my husband and I LOVE their hojicha latte, which boasts a nice earthy-to-sweet ratio. If you want a grounded flavor without getting another coffee, try the hojicha latte! The store itself is quite small, selling sweet treats, drinks, and even flowers through a collaboration with a florist. They have about 4 tables outside -- recommended for small parties, unless you come when it's empty with a group. BIG TIP: Bring your mother or mother-in-law here to impress -- that is, if she likes cute, sweet treats and a tea party vibe! Many reviews have noted this, and I would have to agree, especially for the size (crepe cake slices) and/or simple design (two layer naked cakes). We ended up trying a slice of their taro crepe cake. It was tasty - light, smooth, and included real taro - and had alternating layers of cream and taro; however, we were surprised with how small it was in person (vs photos) for $12.50 before tax. This is just below the price for an Extraordinary Desserts cake slice, which is not only bigger and more complex, but also made fresh. We noticed the crepe cake slice we got had that dusting of ice sparkles, indicating it was frozen and defrosting, and additionally, as it defrosted, the more it started leaning. Lines are always better with a friend and even though we all arrived before opening there was still a healthy line. I was really excited, to finally get to check them out, I saw on their socials that a new chef had taken residency and that they came with some Filipino flair. As a fellow Filipino I definitely wanted to support. I ended up ordering a lumpia roll, ube butter ensaymada, a halo halo tart and a egg sando sandwich along with an iced matcha with honey, with tip my total was $48, which isn't horrible considering these are meant to be higher quality pastries. My girlfriends and I found a table and decided we would share, I shared my egg sando sandwich and the lumpia roll, while they shared their ube butter ensaymada and the turon kouign amann. My matcha, was a horrible, it was a muddy green and really lacked any matcha flavor, my friend didn't like her matcha either and she had the miso caramel matcha. I didn't even finish my matcha and I can really take one down. We joked about how we should have opted for the orange juice instead. Now for the pastries, I was really underwhelmed by them, the ensaymada was just fine, I honestly cannot remember the taste of it, it lacked something. The egg sando sandwich, the filling was plentiful and flavorful BUT the bread was dry, was that potato bread? The texture was off for me and I ended up just scooping out the filling and eating it like that. Where the sando had a good amount of filling the lumpia roll lacked it, it was so sparse I figured it would be more like a sausage roll so I was taken aback by how little there was in it. Flavors were fine, the pastry was buttery but I just wanted a little more. The one pastry we agreed was better than the rest was the turon kouign amann, the crunchy bits of sugar was so reminiscent of turon but the filling, for me was like uncooked banana bread batter, that threw me off entirely. It was better, but not the filling. So overall, I would say it was okay, I guess for the costs it just didn't meet my expectations.
