This was my first time here. The smoothies are actually good, they are a little on the pricier side but it was refreshing. I took off 2 stars for the abysmal service from the cashier. This was 9/5/26 around 11:30/12pm. No hello when we stepped up to order, literally just staring at us. I assumed she was ready to take our order so I started ordering - but no acknowledgement, acted like we were a bother. My aunt ordered the Popeye smoothie which has like a bunch of greens and dates and peanut butter and as the cashier put it into the register she made a disgusted face. Excuse me? Do you not work here selling these products? Also, extremely rude. I raised my eyebrow at her and she saw that and looked away and then kept glancing at us as we waited for our smoothie which was odd. The other two working at this time seemed friendly, the one who ended up giving us our two smoothies smiled and said have a nice day. But this girl - gross. Back to review an absolutely positive experience- I mentioned when I was ordering that my past orders of the ube and taro snow bubble have been flavorless (it's been 4-5 times ) and Kathya explained that it might be that they're adding more milk to help crush the ice. I have seen them do this previously and it does totally affect the flavor! She asked if I'd ever had one made by her and I hadn't so she made it and it was perfection! She let me try it before she poured it into the cup and it had the flavor, and it was a lot more frozen than I've had in the past. My strawberry milk tea finally was ready and I informed the server I also had ordered a pink dragon smoothie which she had no idea what happened to so I ended up waiting another minutes for my second drink. Even with 3 servers working I don't think it should take that long to make drinks. The drinks tasted okay at best. The strawberry milk tea was very disappointing, I tasted the tea but the milk and strawberry part was lacking also seems watered down. Had a craving for a smoothie which I never have. I was at a Liberty station for a wellness yoga event so decided to head to the food hall. Parking was tough as it usually is on a Saturday afternoon. Best bet is to park far and walk. Adjacent lots are typically full. Berry Fresh is right in the middle of the food hall. It's not a terribly large place and you should find it within a few minutes. There's a ton of people and businesses in there so be ready to dodge and weave your way through traffic. To order, was a bit confusing. Nobody knew where to order. To order, you go to the middle of the counter and you pick up at the ends. There's a lot to choose from and I'm not sure if you can go wrong with any of them. I went with the Green Sunset which has peaches, banana, papaya, orange, spinach, kale, almond milk, dates, and apple juice. It's a lot but delicious. Got the regular size and should have gotten the large for I think two dollars more. It is way better if it was almost frozen. It was cold but quickly got warm in the San Diego sun. There's no place to sit right by the business. There's some seating attached to another business in the food hall which is open seating. Berry blast has a lot of fun colors and is vibrant. read more

I ordered the "OG" or original Halo Halo but what I got was definitely not the Halo Halo I'm used to. What I got was a block of ice with a ton of brown sugar to sweeten it, bananas, coconut, rice crispies ,mango jello and ube ice cream. The ube ice cream was the only thing I could eat. Berry Fresh is one of the healthier options among the vendors at the Liberty Public Market (LPM) in Liberty Station. It replaced a previous salad business in one of the central stalls. A narrow corridor existed where you lined up and ordered from the menu boards that hung from the ceiling. The array of beverage offerings was impressive with juices, smoothies, snow bubbles, milk teas, oat milk shakes, and lattes. Each panel had eight or more choices except for the lattes. For food, salads and toasts were available. Prices were listed on small chalkboards at the service counter. I had already bought food from another stall so I came here to purchase a drink. My choice was a Mango Snow Bubble with boba pearls added. The cost was $7 plus another $0.75 for the topping. The serving size was 20 oz so I would say it was more than what you would pay for at a local boba tea shop. Real fruit was used to make the beverage which probably led to the premium pricing. The sweetness was fine while the boba quality was average. I believe Berry Fresh had operated in another part of town (Rolando) as a brick-and-mortar operation before moving into LPM. I can't even describe what it tasted like but we both threw it away almost immediately upon tasting.
