No complains, I've been going there for a few years now. They have FedEx, UPS, USPS all in one place. You walk in, hand a package to the man behind the counter, walk right out. Only one person working it took forever. And no one knowledge meant of anyone in line just ignored us like we weren't there until it was our turn. Personal questions were asked in front of everyone... can you tell me all of the contents of the package? Someone that wanted to get something notarized wanted a description of everything that was in the document that was being signed. Other people were asked have you ever sent a package to this person before I understand security like those kind of questions are asked at the post office! And then the price it took to mail a package I amConfident is twice as much then the post office. They insisted the only sending via US mail or priority mail or bulk mail which takes three weeks. I have used parcel plus to send a package before and had no problems. Thought this place was a tad out of date but the nostalgia charmed me. I went in recently with a friend to buy a notebook she needed for a conference. We had eaten lunch nearby and I suggested this place might have what she needed that we could grab quickly. We walked into the store and he was with a customer doing something on a Zip drive. I know the customer he's helping is here first, but I would have thought a business owner would at least ACKNOWLEDGE a customer within 5 minutes. Nope. We spoke and he ignored us. He was so rude we walked out and went to Staples. All my friend needed was a notebook, he could have at least paused to greet us. We were waiting in the tiny shoe for 10 minutes! He saw us! Was his complete ignorance of us because she's clearly a lesbian? Who knows, but I know for sure the customer service here is incredibly rude and we should vote with our wallets. read more

Only giving a 3 star because I live in the kentlands and when I need to drop off a package quickly it's right here. However they recently started charging 75 cents for a receipt, which I don't ever get but seriously that's the most cheap and trashy thing a business can do. The owner is an older guy and he can be rude at times. I had a coupon for 5 lbs of shredding and I felt like I was giving an attitude by him, well grumpy old man if you don't want people bringing in things to be shredded then don't put a coupon out there. However if I need a receipt for a shipment I'll go somewhere else, I'm not paying the 75 cents. The store is small and extremely junky. read more

I am with Art A - I asked for a receipt for the Fed-Ex package I was sending and they tried to charge me .75 for a receipt!!!! That is absolutely disgusting! Wanted 75 cents for a receipt when I requested a receipt for dropping off a prepaid FedEx package. I have been shipping packages for decades and never had to deal with this sort of practice. I refused the charge and took my package elsewhere to drop off. Certainly will not be returning to this shop for any packaging or shipping services. Do not ship USPS through parcel plus in the Kentlands. Charged me $73 and I thought was high. After paying and leaving I went to the USPS website and entered package detail and it showed $39. I went back in the store asking why so high compared to USPS knowing there should be a premium the business charges. The lady double checked b/c I thought here was a mistake. She told me that they do charge a 20% premium. They were charging much more than the 20% premium, more like 90% premium, or $34 extra. I support small business but not people who take advantage of locals. They gave me a refund and I took my package to the post office which they in turn charged me $39. Seems it's family-owned which has pros and cons. Two times I've visited the store. One was to mail a package and there was a line so had to wait about 15-20 minutes since there was only one person. Second time just drop off and to get a receipt for UPS drop off it is 75 cents which by principle I was annoyed by it since everywhere else I have gone it has been free. read more

This little shop is the best little convenience for those of us who work from home. I have used this place for shipping needs for nearly 15 years and recently, have started to use them for copying services. The staff is so friendly and fun. I've never seen them be anything but kind and accommodating, even during the holidays when customers can be pushy and rude. There's a lot of service packed into that tiny little store. read more

If you are looking for customer service, I recommend you go anywhere else- you'd probably get a better response from a statue. The owners do not even look up and acknowledge you when you walk in, a personal pet peeve of mine. Just look up, fake a smile, and say "I'll be with you in a moment". That's all it takes to create a loyal customer. If you do decide to stand there and wait, you are treated as if they are doing you a favor by waiting on you. The location is very convenient for me, and as I am always running behind, don't have time to drive to a different store. I have trouble believing the 5 star rating, and assume that person is either a close friend or relative who wrote it. read more

Wonderful Service!! I was having difficulty determining where to send a package I needed to return to a vendor. The lovely manager at the store guided me through the process. I ended up needing to call the vendor so they could send me a Fedex label. I was able to forward the FedEx label via email to the store. The manager printed the label for me and sent my package. I could not be more happy with my level of service!! read more
