Stopped by this place for a quick meal and it did not disappoint. The ambience is great, and the place was rather empty when we went in. Ordered a Paneer Malai Tikka, Noodle Spring Roll, Pesto Penne with vegetables and Onion Kulcha. The food came quickly. It was fresh, warm and super amazing. Special mention for the melt in the mouth paneer and the delicious kulcha. We loved every bit of it. The pasta was made well as we ordered it to be for the kids. Finally we got gur chai which was superb too. Overall a great place with a peppy vibe. The servers are friendly and ready to help. Prompt service, good food and lots of various options to try. Came back here again and it was a good experience again, and we tried new items- less fusion food and more authentic Indian dishes which was the right move. To start we got the pani puri 10 piece and it was really good, my favorite thing here. Would definitely get it again. We also got butter and garlic naan with methi mattar malai and paneer. My friends suggested this restaurant to try. My first time and I won't lie, the "Paratha and pasta" fusion concept just didn't seem it would work. However, I was willing to give this a try. All I can say is "holy smokes" what an amazing place and concept. First of all, ambience was perfect. Understated class and elegance, filled with people, but noise level was medium, not loud. Food service and food handling was absolutely amazing worthy of the highest compliments. Shoutout to Misha. And then there is the food! Shockingly surprised would be an understatement. We started with the papadi chat and loaded fries. What a brilliant combination to do butter chicken, fries with a little bit of cheese melted on top. Then the big test. Could you actually do chicken tikka masala with pasta? I have to say it was amazing. Exactly what you would expect from chicken tikka masala with soft, tender chicken and farfalle pasta done perfectly. We also ordered the palak panner with garlic naan. The naan was amazing and while the curry was tasty, it lacked texture and was too saucy. Desserts were decent. I will definitely be taking friends and family here to try other dishes on the menu. On vacation in Vancouver and found this excellent restaurant in Yaletown for traditional as well as modern North Indian/Punjabi cuisine - great service by our server, Gouv; solicitous, attentive, friendly...the owner too was on hand and came by to enquire. Ordered excellent Gur Chai (Indian Masala Tea served generously in China tea pots and offered with two cubes of dark jaggery), Sweet Lassi, Noodles Spring Rolls, Chole Bhature, Dahi Puri, Paneer Bhurji Paratha, Shahi Prawn Pasta, and Chicken Tikka Masala Pasta - latter being unusual and yummy twists in classic North Indian/Punjabi dishes. We were craving Indian food and based on reviews picked this place. We were seated outside--which, being a summer evening, was nice. Service was prompt. We ordered a Dahi Balla chaat and palak (spinach) chicken. We asked the latter to be spiced mild. The Dahi-balla chaat was outstanding. The dahi-balla was soft, fluffy and the sauce was delightfully mildly spiced. The "mild" saag paneer on the other hand set our mouths on fire! We had to send it back after the first taste. The waitress offered us butter chicken as an alternate, inherently mild dish. And no doubt the sauce was mild, slightly sweet, but overall not bad. But the chicken in it was breast (white) meat. And chicken-breast meat does not go well with the high temperatures used for Indian cooking. The chicken was completely dry and tasted like cardboard. When we tried to explain the difference between dark & white chicken meat to the waitress, the poor woman pleaded ignorance as she said she was "vegetarian". I usually do not order chicken in any Indian restaurant. And I wouldn't recommend here as well. Especially if the wait staff are part time students who have no idea of the nuances of what they are serving. In Indian parlance this is a "kaam chalau" restaurant: meaning it's okay and don't expect anything outstanding by way of cuisine. read more

We came here on a visit to Vancouver based on recommendation by a friend. The ambience is pleasing and inviting. The food is average, something that can easily be prepared at home. Not bad, but honestly nothing that stands out. The service too could be better. Overall strictly average fare. I wouldn't go out of my way to come down here. read more

Really good shrimp biryani but the medium was definitely on the spicier side. The raita was delicious and tasted fresh. The staff was really helpful in figuring out what to order. The restaurant applied alcohol tax of 10% on a non-alcoholic food item. As a result, we were overcharged. After I pointed it out, the restaurant staff tried to convince me I was mistaken. But I showed them the receipt and explained why the tax was incorrect. Only after that, they reluctantly acknowledged their mistake and told me they had a problem with their accounting system. However, instead of providing a refund through my credit card (my original payment method), they gave me an incorrect lower cash refund without any receipt. Terrible customer service!! We are very disappointed how they handled the situation. read more

What we ordered: Old fashioned: standard, average Aperol spritz: awful, it was just pure syrup and came in a normal glass. I had to ask for a side of club soda to dilute the concentrate but it was still undrinkable Malai chicken: it came on a sizzling platter. The chicken was tasty and well cooked. The chutney on the side was also great Butter chicken pasta: taste wise this was actually not bad! But the spice level made it impossible to eat without chugging down water after every bite. I have a pretty high spice tolerance too so this was surprising. I wish it was less so we could enjoy the pasta more. Coconut shrimp: this was the opposite of the pasta. It was very bland and lacked flavor. The service was quick and friendly, and the ambiance was very hip bar like vibes but minus the unique and delicious cocktails you would expect in a place like yaletown. The food was amazing here. Me and my companion went here after Grouse mountain and the food was incredible. It is only a short walk from the station, and the service was fast and our waiter was very nice. He not only gave us an outline of the best food choices, but he also recommended few sunset viewing places! The ambience was nice, as we came here when not everyone was around. P2P is finally in Yaletown and is right adjacent to Tasty Indian Bistro. We went here on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all. Their Ambiance is excellent with both indoor and heaters outdoor seatings. We started off with Cajun Paneer Tikka and Tandoori Momos and let me tell you it was one of the finest Paneer Tikka we had eaten in ages. Very nicely spiced up and had an explosion of flavors. Tandoori Momos complemented the Paneer Tikka very well. The drinks were out of the world. Highly recommend the Whiskey Sour which was infused with Charcoal. We also tried a Makki Mooli Mehti Paratha and it was incredibly delicious. It was crisp from outside and had a very likable taste. Overall, a very good experience here at P2P Yaletown!! read more

On a recent trip to Vancouver, we stopped here for dinner. Although the menu is "fusion" incorporating pasta with common Indian cuisine, other dishes are purely Indian. Food quality and flavor is very good. Fish was a tad on the salty side but otherwise still good. Chicken curry was awesome and some of the nicest I've had here in downtown Vancouver. All the spices are melting together nicely. Ambience is nice and pleasant and service by our server Karan was great ! Shes very knowledgeable, attentive and very proactive - she immediately wanted to change our fish tikka when I said it's on the salty side but we told her it's ok.
