Customer service was absolutely fantastic and Tyler W. was accommodating and gave us clear explanations as to what was wrong. We received a text message with a picture of the employees so we knew who to expect and what they looked like. Arlinghaus has to send another worker out to discuss prices on a new furnace. Tyler was able to get our furnace working temporarily as we look into buying a new furnace. It cost $89 for him to come out and diagnose the problem. They will remove this from any extra work they may need to do. Unfortunately, in the end we could not afford even the lowest option they had for a furnace. They use a top furnace line brand and are more expensive then the national average. This was the only draw back for me that it was to expensive and I did not want to enter into a loan for a $7,000 furnace when the average homeowners pay is $3100. Regardless, they were transparent and did not pressure me into anything we didn't want to do. I highly recommend Arlinghaus for their professionalism and honesty with their customers.

My system was running well and did not need any service, when the Technician left, my system was not operating the same as when he started, My Central Air was not cooling my house and the system blower sounded different. I have lived in my house long enough to know how it sounds and feels, The person who worked on my system created the problem in order to create a service call and an unnecessary bill for a problem that he inserted. This is not the way to maintain customers or good reviews. If your service is not broken, the service person should not be out generating revenue. I was very concerned when he was measuring the amount of Freon as I heard a loud hiss as the vapors were being released. BTW, the same service person bypassed a safety cut-off device in my furnace last winter and, I had to buy the electrical device and reinstall it for the safety of my home. I am very dissatisfied with their procedures.

Hired Stanley Steemer to clean duct work twice in less than a year. The first time, we were living…read morein a house temporarily while searching for our forever home. My husband has COPD and my daughter has severe asthma and allergies, and the previous owners had never had the duct work cleaned, and all 3 of us were getting sinus infections and/or bronchitis back to back. So we had Stanley Steamer come out to clean the duct work, and they were awesome. We stopped getting sick, and things were great. So great in fact, that a few months later, we ended up finding a home we loved, but unfortunately, the duct work was needed a serious cleaning, and it was a no-brainer to call Stanley Steamer. However, this time, they stuff an awful job. In one month of them coming, we've had to change the air filters in our furnace 5 (FIVE) times! It's like they stirred everything up and pushed it into the bottom of the furnace instead of sucking it all out (you can see the chunks of dust and debris everywhere when you pull the filter out, and the filters are FULL of the dust and debris with each changing). I repeatedly reached out to speak with a manager (literally every week for the last 6 weeks) and each time, I was told that I'd receive a call back, but never get a returned call. The amount of unprofessionalism is absolutely insulting! When they'd came the first time, I was present for the entire job, and watched everything they did, but the second time at our new home, my realtor was the only one there, and was busy filling out paperwork, so there was no actual supervision. Since they've left, we're having to change the filter our weekly, and dust daily. My husband has been hospitalized, and my daughter and I have been on antibiotics 3 times over sinus/chest infections. We've lived here a little over 2 months now, and have received no solution, or even attempt at a solution with Stanley Steemer. They're great if you shadow them, and when they set up your appointment for service. But once they're paid, they don't care about you. We've officially reached out to local news and social media to let everyone know about our experience, so nobody else has to go through this nightmare.

After reading all the reviews, I was very suprised to have such a bad experience with this company…read more They did arrive as scheduled and were very friendly. However, the cleaning service was awful! They advised us that the carpet would be dry by the next morning. It actually took 4 days for the carpet to dry out (and I hope I don't have mold underneath). On the second day you could actually feel the water seeping up between your toes if you walked on it bare foot. It's like they sprayed water in but didn't bother to suck any back out. Then the two sofas were not even completely cleaned. The headrests and footrests were not even touched (sofas have recliners on each end). Then they applied the fabric protection spray (add on that we opted for) and it made the fabric hard and very scratchy. Then, as if all that was not enough, the carpet and sofas now have a very nasty smell to it and it is VERY strong. You smell it as soon as you walk into the room. I am wondering if they actually used dirty water on our stuff. Now, I have to rent a carpet cleaner and try to get the smell out. Our carpet did not have that smell before they 'cleaned' it, and I absolutely will not use a 'professional' carpet cleaning service again. Worst experience ever! And, we paid for it!
