On the phone they took an estimate of the area and number of rooms to shampoo and provided a $ amount based on that. 1 week before the scheduled date I had to call and ask to do the job sooner since there was a change in our relocation plan. They worked with us and gave us an earlier date. They also agreed to enter the house using a lock box since we wouldn't be there yet. The technician called me about 30 mins before getting to the house to let me know they were on the way. The place looked clean and detailed when we got to the house 2 days later. After the two men arrived onsite to do the job, they informed me that they would be doubling the price to nearly $600, but offered me a "discount" so that my total charge was $427. $427 for two men to complete about 60-90 minutes of work. The carpet restretching was technically completed correctly, but the workers left my house a mess. Furniture had been moved and not returned to its original location, scraps of carpet on the floor were not cleaned up, and my security system had been unplugged for some reason. When I contacted the company to complain about being overcharged and left with a mess, the owner of the company yelled at me. I was not happy with my experience. This felt like a shady bait and switch.
