This company has literally been harassing me for 2 YEARS omg!! I never write reviews but this is actually so weird I feel like I need to say something. I requested a free QUOTE from their website in 2024 as I was shopping around for a cleaning service for my mom. I ended up going with another service. This company called me a couple times right away and I didn't return the calls so you would think they wouldn't continue to reach out. WRONG. They called me so many times throughout the next YEAR that I ended up having to block their number. It is now 2026 and I just received a call from them today from a slightly different number! BEWARE! Regardless of my review, Swept Away will simply reply and place the blame of everything on me without taking any responsibility themselves. Whenever hiring a cleaning company, get a DETAILED quote of services and timelines. That way when you repeatedly request 2 people for 2 hours, it doesn't turn into 3 people for 3 hours (for only 600 sf - go figure). Also, BEWARE they record your phone calls for their own purposes, but will not send the transcript to you even when they say they will. BEWARE, if you aren't happy with their services, they will not try to make things right, but instead, blame you for misunderstanding. BEWARE, they do nothing to earn your business, talk over you during the conversation, don't try to rectify the problem, and basically give you a who-cares attitude with any dispute. There are plenty of cleaning companies out there. I would recommend doing yourself a favor and choosing a different one than Swept Away. We paid for a deep clean and items were broken and not dusted. I decided to give them another chance and a bathroom was completely missed/untouched during the second cleaning. A complete waste of $400! read more

I recently had surgery and needed a good old fashion deep clean. Swept away in Cincinnati, OH did NOT disappoint! They wore face masks, gloves and provided airomatic cleaning supplies. I contacted Swept Away after an internet search. I was marketing a new property for a client and it needed a fresh cleaning before we went active on MLS. The cleaning ladies were not able to understand the lockbox and instead proceeded to shake and beat on the lock. One lady then took a set of keys out of her purse and dig the key into the box. She even states, "I tried to shimmy it open but it won't work". The same lady proceeds to curse and talk about how "f*cking stupid this is". The two women then leave after about 30 minutes. They broke my lockbox and my client's door knob. The entire act is on video surveillance which I forwarded to Swept Away. Swept Away never responded again. They didn't apologize nor offer to compensate for the damages caused by their employees. Poor customer service and service in general. read more

After arranging 3 cleaners, for 3 hrs., the day came. They came 1.5 hrs, not the 3 hrs, against protest. They did only part of what I said was my special request (explained when asked only). What was worse was being approached just after they arrived, by phone, with the scheduler attempting to extort more money to actually do the job. At $210-$250 quoted for the entire 3 hrs, I wonder how they would ask for more money, rather than less? When I looked around after, I noted of two bedrooms and a bath upstairs, only the bathroom was cleaned. The carpet wasn't touched. I asked, by phone, for a reduced price for the reduced hours. Pros: They were able to fit me in their schedule very last minute, great communication, and got a lot done in the time frame I gave. Very polite and professional on phone/email and the house smelled great when I got home. Cons: Did not feel the job was thorough at all. I asked for the whole first floor to be cleaned yet the dining table was covered in dust (not even touched), specifically asked the blinds be dusted but one side was completely covered in dust still, bathrooms were not spotless--hair and water marks still present, and there were numerous sticky spots on the wood floor that were visible and gooey. They never called/emailed to ask how my experience was or ask if I would be interested in setting up a repeat appointment which I also found odd. I really wanted to love it but it doesn't make sense to pay someone if there is no attention to detail. read more

I have used Swept Away twice when life got a little too busy to get all of my chores done. Both times, they have arrived on time and finished well within my budget. If they finish ahead of the projected time, they give you the option of adding more chores to their list or paying for the lesser amount of time. All of the employees have been friendly and hard-working. This is a great company! read more

Just a public service announcement...I recommend AGAINST EVER using Swept Away Cleaning Services. What they promised and what they delivered were NOT in line. I paid for 2 hours of cleaning (which wasn't cheap) and they left well over 20 minutes early and the quality of the cleaning was terrible. I then called to follow-up and ask for reimbursement for the time difference and was told that "wasn't possible". They offered to send them back to make up the time - NOT ACCEPTABLE as I've already cleaned these areas! read more

I've had my house cleaned by Swept Away for 6 years now. I am always blown away by the amount of professionalism, courtesy and respect the girls have for me and my home. They always find something a little bit extra to do that, that makes me feel like they have a magic touch. Chris in the office is always very sincere, and explains things in detail. I never get caught with any surprises if I call to add additional jobs, or just let them know how things are going. I am extremely pleased with the entire service. I highly recommend! read more

This was my first time using a cleaning service and I couldn't have been more pleased of my dealings with Swept Away. First of all, Swept Away wasn't the first cleaning service I called but they were the first to get back to me. (Perspective, I had reached out to another service 3 times the previous week as I had a coupon, NO RESPONSE!). Within an hour of me reaching out to Swept Away they had contacted me back. Swept Away was extremely flexible with my 8-5 work schedule, and we met over my lunch break to survey the house to get an estimate. Secondly, based on my research for expense by square-footage cleaning they came back with a reasonable price. We scheduled the cleaning for THE NEXT day (which was awesome for me as I put off getting this done). Their team showed up EARLY for the appointment (plus in my book!) and were all very nice and professional. They called to let me know when they were completed, which I appreciated. Finally, when I got home after work, I was extremely satisfied with their caliber of work. Everything was swept, wiped, dusted, and scrubbed (it was probably the cleanest it's been since I moved into the place!).
