I bought TWO cases and received TWO warm piroshki's to go! LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Great comfort food! Great service and super nice staff! You have to buy by the case. But the prices are perfect to buy alot! They also give a free warm piroshki per case so you can eat on the way home! LOVE their stuff!!

Love the customer service and everything is fresh and delicious. I used to go to the store in SF and get a few Piroshki fresh out of the fryer. Really missed that. We heard that they will be opening a shop on Irving between 8th/9th Ave soon. This family owned company is awesome and very friendly staff. We will drive far to get our stash of Piroshki and bagel dogs! Will be trying their other products soon.

I was in San Leandro this morning for something work related and decided to try this place out after reading some reviews on yelp. There are a few parking spaces in front. I was lucky to get a spot, but the number of spaces are few. There was a sign to ring the doorbell when you arrive. After doing that, a super friendly worker came outside and provided me a menu to look over. As a first timer, the woman helped to tell me about their most popular items. You order by the box (dozen). I got a box of beef and cheese piroshky and a box of polish bagel dogs. With the yelp discount of $3.00 off, my total came to $66.00. While I was waiting for my boxes, I was given a complimentary full size jalapeño and cheese bagel dog (soooo good. I want to order it next time) and a potato knish. Pros: -excellent service -complimentary samples Cons: -parking may be a difficult Other: -take out only -order in bulk Overall, an excellent spot! What a great find.

Hotdog bagel - made fresh and complimentary. Thank you!!

So...um....this is actually a wholesaler. We stopped in whilst looking for a morning bakery shop close to our spot. We just wanted a quick bite and some extra goodies to take with us as a gratuitous thank you for our client. Anywho...turns out hey only sell in bulk. Oops. That said, the owner and his family could t have been more warm/accommodating. We were even given a few sample bagel dogs, just for stopping in. We ended up buying a box of bagel dogs to ship back home for the shop. This is a little hidden treasure, family owned and still pumping out enough business to grandma's original vision afloat. You've got to love these little Family business and how hard they work to get it all going. And I too of it all, they still treated us with incredible warmth and grace, just for stopping in. All the best to them -

Been raiding them for piroshkis for almost 20 years now, since they were San Francisco. They are, simply put, da bomb.

Ask the Community - Paramount Piroshki

Has anyone warmed them in an air fryer?

I like to bake the products to heat them through and then do a quick air fry in the last 3-5 minutes to crisp the exterior.

How much does it cost for one dozen Piroshky?

$30/case of a dozen

Is this the same company that was on 18th and Potrero? I lived across the street and had the Piroshkis all the time! I've been craving these since they closed the SF store.

The owners are native San Franciscans, that much I know. If you go there, I'm sure that they'll fill you in.

What degree do you bake them and how much time?

Follow the instructions on the packaging.

Not only are you able to purchase from their bakery case, you can also request to have desserts made for special events! (In advance of course.) They use high quality matcha powder (Marukyu Koyamaen) for their drinks. This is one of the few things that drew me into their cafe. The baristas are extremely friendly and have a wonderful sense of humor, AND they support small businesses! While you wait for your order, you can browse their shelf full of crystal candies, matcha sets, candles, and they may also have Natsume matcha tins available! Was meeting up with a friend from Berkeley and he found this spot in between the both of us. Pros and cons! + The coffee - holy shit. Got a cortado. And drank it without sugar it was so good. A touch of bitter (it's coffee - duh!) but so smooth, almost nutty but buttery at the same time. + Got a chicken salad sandwich. It came stacked HIGH with hints of sweetness and curry. Freshest produce. Honestly, I was hungry but could only eat half of it, it was so big. + Friend got a warmed cinnamon bun. Incredible. Yeasty, chewy almost crisp on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. + Wide open space inside -- high ceilings, one big central area. Not tucked away spaces -- which might or might not match your preference. + Perfect amount of coffeehouse buzz. Music playing lowish in the background and lots of conversations. Just enough to quell my ADHD tendencies. * Honestly can't think of any negatives. Prices are a bit high but happy to pay it for such a quality experience. I think my cortado was decently priced -- maybe $6 or so? Sandwich was $18 or so but done really well and came with a bowl of soup (chips, fruit, and something else was an option instead of soup, but tomato bisque with a sandwich?
