To make an appointment, you have to sign up to receive text messages. For over a month I received multiple text messages to secure an appointment. Every time I clicked the link in the text, the appointment was already filled. This is a horrible business model in my opinion. I finally gave up and made an appointment with a different fit studio where I was able to schedule a specific day and time online. read more

Incredible. Highly recommended. Brian is a true master of his craft. It was incredible to experience how subtle tweaks in my position could so drastically reduce discomfort. I've never enjoyed biking more, and have been riding harder+further+faster than ever before. Not only that, Brian's a great guy who makes you feel at home. If you're thinking of spending a lot of time/money on a bike, you should absolutely do this. read more

Brian did a fantastic job with my bike fit! Like others, I was skeptical on forking out a few hundred dollars on a bike fit, but I'm very glad I did. I had a great experience, and Brian was very professional. He adjusted all touch points I had with the bike, which helped improve not only my power output but also the ergonomics--after my fit, I didn't have any more knee pain after long rides. After over a week in the saddle, I noticed some discomfort and Brian fit me into his busy schedule for a quick adjustment. He also provided a report of my fit measurements for future use. I would recommend Brian to anyone. read more

Brian was absolutely amazing and comprehensive with my fit. He walked me through everything he was doing. Also really appreciated him fitting my bike for where I should be instead of compensating the fit for my lack of flexibility and recommending mobility routines and exercises to improve my riding/comfort on the bike. Could not be happier with the experience and will be recommending paragon to anyone looking for a fit. read more

Incredible experience getting my bike fit with Brian. He knows his stuff - assessing your body mechanics and particulars (pelvic tilt, leg length, all the fine measurements) and making adjustments to every element of your bike to match the machine to the person. He's also an incredibly kind and genial person. My life on a bike consists of two parts. The first began when I learned to ride in Carmel, CA, on the beach. The second began 23 years later when I went for my first ride after Brian fit my bike. Thanks, Brian! Great service, selection, and value. I will recommend you again and again. read more

I went to Paragon Fit Studio for my first-ever bike fit. A friend highly recommended Brian, and I could not be more thankful that he did. At first, I was slightly intimidated, not being a regular cyclist fit. But I'm happy to report the session was highly informative and entertaining. I immediately felt and saw the difference in Brian's tweaks to my bike, shoe cleats, and saddle. Brian is an expert at his craft; he's excellent at explaining precisely what he's adjusting on each iteration and why. Following the appointment, later that week, I went for a 40-mile ride and can report that the issues I felt before the bike fitting was extinguished. I felt balanced and more confident on the bike, both in and out of the saddle. I highly recommend working with Brian at Paragon Fit Studio to get a fit for beginners getting into or back into cycling, those who just got a new bike (like me), or veteran cyclists. read more

Paragon Fit Studio - Bike Fitting for a gravel bike. Client is riding his bike on a fluid trainer to see the fit adjustments in action. - Bikes Near Me - San Francisco, California

I had such a great afternoon working with Brian. My experience closely mirrors the other positive reviews here. He was super careful in his assessment of my body mechanics and made a few really key observations that got my legs tracking perfectly and I now feel more comfortable in a more aggressive position that I had previously. Lots of little things become a big thing when it comes together. He suggested that I ride for 8-10 hours after the fit and email how it was going. He was able to suggest a minor saddle adjustment that just locked everything in. It was my first time getting a professional fit and boy was it worth it. I could not more highly recommend his services! read more

I went into Paragon about a year ago to do a refit on my road bike. It had been awhile (about 8 years) since I had the bike last fitted and he corrected a lot of the issues I hadn't even realized had occurred in the intervening years (cleat drift, change in my flexibility and fitness levels). The process of the fit was seamless and the changes he made rid me of the knee issues I was having along with the wrist issues I hadn't realized were even there until after 20 miles post fit. He had me shift to a new saddle which made me realize my old saddle had broken down awhile back (didn't know they did that). He also provided suggestions on changing crank length that made my pedal stoke much smoother after I made the changes post fit. Since his fit riding has gone back to being painless and enjoyable. If you're on the fence about a refit or a fit for new bike he's a great guy to talk to. read more

Someone mentioned Brian's name at my local FB group for bike fitting. I contacted Brian to make an appointment and I got lucky and he booked me an appointment right away. It was a much needed bike fit for me. I just upgraded my bike frame and went to a smaller size. After riding 60 miles for the first with the new frame, I'm not gonna lie, I was hurting, that's why I needed to get the bike fit ASAP. Brian did his magic, he made some adjustments on my shoe cleats, (2 pairs) changed the shoe scholes, adjusted the saddle, (he will also measure what's saddle size is best for your bottom) handle bar and brake levers. (I also brought my longer extra stem but according to him, I didn't need it) Also, since this place is a bike store, I purchased a new pedals and he put them on for me Due to the rainy weather in the bay area for couple days, I couldn't ride with the new adjustments right away, but today, (10/27/2021) I finally had the chance to ride, and man oh man, I'm so happy with the outcome. So, if you're looking for a bike fitter in the SF area, contact Brian Keyte, you won't regret it! -Let's put it this way, BIKE FIT IS A MUST! This should be done on day one when you get a new bike. read more

I worked with Brian to fit a new bike and was extremely happy with the results and process. We spent time prior to getting on the bike talking about what kind of riding I do, what kinds of pain and injuries I have, and what my goals were. Brian is friendly, knowledgeable, and understands all level of cyclists. He is also great a sharing what he is doing and talking you through his thinking so you know what's going on. After my fitting, my body immediately felt better on the bike and I set new PRs from efficiency gains from better positioning while I'm in my drops. I strongly recommend Paragon as the go-to fitting for anyone in the Bay Area. Go for a bike fit and leave with a friend. My experience at Paragon studio was nothing short of exceptional. Not only was my bike fitter, Brian, the nicest guy ever, but he was incredibly knowledgeable and an expert of his craft. When I scheduled my appointment, I thought the overall process of the bike fitting seemed very long. But I quickly realized why it took around 2 hours to complete a full bike fit. Brian is extremely thorough at ensuring every single aspect of your riding position is addressed. I was also asked to discuss any pre-existing issues and concerns I had (for example a torn ACL a year prior) and Brian worked with me to troubleshoot those pain points and help me find a comfortable and safe position for riding. Oh! And not to mention Brian kindly offered beverages and great music to keep us entertained and having a good time :D From a perspective of customer service, I really appreciated how Brian took care in following up with me beyond my fit as well as leaving the door open in case I have any fitting questions or concerns in the future. I live in the East Bay and made the trek over to the city based on his reviews - and I will definitely be coming back with my friends and future bikes! read more

Brian is a pro. I felt like my position was pretty good and I didn't think professional help was necessary but I couldn't shake a couple nagging injuries so I gave it a shot. In 30 minutes, Brian was able to identify a few small tweaks that made a huge difference immediately. I'm amazed how a few little things that I couldn't get at myself changed how I feel on the bike. He's a super good guy, too. Do it. read more

I went to Brian at Paragon. I had searing upper back pain when I rode since an injury that I didn't have on a previous bike. Suspected my setup led to the injury and subsequent pain. Liked the idea of a studio Vs in home or a shop. The space is super nice, Brian is an awesome guy. Incredibly nice. Went on a Saturday and people on rides popped their heads in a few times just to say hi, great vibe. I was clear how important it was to be able to ride pain free (back issues) and that I was willing to swap parts or even a new bike if needed, just to be clear he didn't push parts on me. He ID'd something unique about my leg shape that was causing lots of movement, as well as seat position and seat being too narrow. We: Swapped pedals for more locked in style that had a wider (stem?) and washer to get my feet more in their natural position. Swapped a wider seat in and repositioned Put insoles in my shoes for more support Adjusted my hoods to release back tension I had put in a new stem but with too little overlap to be safe and he adjusted it. Feels like I'm riding a different bike. Would definitely recommend. The parts he sells are premium so if you're concerned about price just be clear, he won't push anything. Not cheap but worth every penny to be able to ride pain free and have a healthy back again. read more

Highly recommend. I'd been having pains from my saddle, and visited Brian to help me diagnose and test out some new options. Not only did we find a saddle that was a much better fit, he made several additional adjustments that made me both faster and safer on the bike. I couldn't be happier with the experience. Brian was friendly and knowledgeable. The bike fitting was a game-changer for me; he took the time to assess my unique needs and adjusted my bike to ensure the perfect fit. Not only did they improve my comfort and efficiency on the bike, but he also provided valuable tips and insights to enhance my cycling experience. His shop's commitment to customer satisfaction and expertise in bike fitting are truly exceptional. I highly recommend this place to anyone! read more

I've had enough bike fits over the years to feel pretty confident in my main fit measurements: saddle height, stem length, etc. But after a bad injury and a lot of rehab I wanted to make sure my fit was really dialed in for where my body is today. Brian did an excellent job. The adjustments he made were small, but very impactful. Rather than feeling like I'm trying to actively have good form on the bike, my fit feels like everything is naturally where it should be to transfer power from my hips/glutes/legs directly down into the pedals. It feels like my body just clicks with the bike now. I'm so happy I came in and got the fit. In addition to the clear technical expertise, Brian was just a really pleasant, thoughtful human to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends. read more

Brian is a magician! In addition to the calm and focused vibe in his studio, Brian brings warmth and friendliness to the bike fitting process. He explains the thinking behind every tweak he makes to your setup, so the session is educational as well as functional. I walked out of the studio feeling like a machine on my bike in a way I never have before. Strong and smooth. Looking forward to this year's triathlon season with my new fit! read more

Brian was a great help getting my bike adjusted after I added some new components during the year. He was quick to identify the issues and make the necessary adjustments, including saddle position, handle-bars & cleats. It immediately made improvements to my cycling performance and helped with recovery from leg / shin pain I was experiencing. He was able to asses and make the adjustments very quickly and priced very good, very much worth it for the benefits I got. I would definitely recommend Brian and will go to Brian again if needed someday. read more

If you have any issues with pain or if you want to be more powerful and faster on the bike, you must see Brian at Paragon Fit Studio! I've been cyclizing more seriously for the last 6 years and I can tell you I've never felt more stable, powerful, efficient, comfortable, and pain-free on a bike since getting pro fitted by Brian!!! Brian is a master at what he does and knows exactly what to tweak based on your measurements and how you are moving on your bike. My only regret is that I should have gotten fitted by him years ago.. I would have had so many more PRs and KOMs by now and my I could have ordered exactly the components that would fit me most optimally from the start! read more

Brian is a professional and great to work with. He took time to learn about me and my cycling, asking lots of questions before I got onto my bike. He made several adjustments, including my cleats, a new saddle, and narrower handlebars. I'm riding now with less neck and knee pain. As importantly, I feel like I have more power - and thus more fun! - on the road. Also, I had a few unforeseen post-fit issues, and Brian responded quickly, professionally, and generously. I've recommended him already to several cycling friends. And I'll be back! read more

As long as I live in San Francisco, nobody is touching my bike fit except for Brian at Paragon Fit Studio. This is my second bike to be fit by Brian and each time he has been super professional and responsive to what I would like to get out of the bike and the fit. The first time I got fit by Brian, I was having constant and severe lower quad/upper knee pain with some tight hips and was about to give up cycling but the moment I left Brian's studio after the first fit, it was like night and day on the bike. So the minute I was done setting up my second bike, I scheduled my fit with Brian. And the minute I walked in for my second fit, Brian had remembered everything from my first session with him and he was immediately ready to get to it which I appreciated. Another thing I will always appreciate about Brian is the fact that he will never just try to sell you new parts to sell you parts. He'll tell it like it is and will always be honest with you on if he truly thinks you can get away with a part on your bike or if it will end up hurting you down the line. Brian truly just wants you and your bike to feel amazing and be the best they can be, can't recommend Brian enough. read more

After purchasing new bikes and upping our time in the saddle significantly both my girlfriend and I decided that we would benefit from and needed a fitting. Brian is incredibly knowledgeable and is clearly an expert with regards to his knowledge of fitting and the practices involved to ensure you're fitted correctly for your style of riding. I was extremely happy with the entire process and subsequently feel excellent while riding. My new position has eliminated any aches that I was experiencing and just feels 'right' with a noticeable increase in power and efficiency. All in all, a great service and really nice guy who makes you feel welcome and engaged in the entire process whilst explaining what he is doing and why it's important. Thank you Brian! read more

Four months into serious cycling during COVID my boyfriend and I decided to get fitted to our bikes, which is how we found Brian at Paragon. Brian accommodated us both in the studio with our masks on and made us feel comfortable right away. He asked detailed questions and explained what adjustments he was making and why. It's like he knew what aches and pains I was having before I even told him! The adjustments were precise and have significantly enhanced my ride while alleviating the discomfort. I highly recommend him as he is a clearly a pro at both bike fitting and making connections with the riders in his studio. Thank you so much, Brian! read more

Brian @ Paragon Fit is extremely kind, caring and thorough in his work. I had a fantastic experience working with Paragon. I had scheduled a fit session because of discomfort in my back and arms while doing long rides. Through a highly personalized, detailed interview and fit adjustment session, Brian came to a bike configuration that worked for me and I could instantly tell the difference when riding back home. On my recent long rides I've seen a noticeable difference in my ability to spin better, to climb hills (I find myself able to generate more power both in and out of the saddle), and haven't noticed the arm or back pain that I used to have at those distances. I'm glad I did this session! read more

I often pass by Paragon Fit Studio as I make my Presideo Loop on the weekends and gauge the line for Arsicault and after riding my new ride for 6 months which was way overdue for a bike fit as I upgraded from a endurance bike. I was definitely in need of one as a weekend warrior and avid Zwift user I felt like my efficiency was not quite there but close. Long story short I while doing zwift races my endurace was out the window and Brian from Paragon found the missing formula. My cleat position. He mentioned I would get a good 3% increase on my ftp. I haven't attempted it yet but Brian was definitely dialed he knew all the adjustments needed to hit the pts needed to get to the next level. Usually you hear the words it's not you it's me. But in the bike fitting session you hope it's not you meaning your body causing the inefficient. In this case it was for sure my bike. I have not changed my cleat position since my last fitting and I guess even the best bike fitter won't get it right. But Brian from Paragon hit the mark, super attentive, get advice and education eat step of the way. I highly recommend Brian for your next fitting or you just want to hit that next level and definitely a plus is you can pick up a pastry after the session. read more

I got a bike fitting as well as some adjustments from Brian. After cycling for ~2 years with relatively consistent knee pain, I went to Brian for a bike fitting. His adjustments were thoughtful and very fine-tuned to my personal anatomy and way-of-riding. I am happy to say that for the past year or so since the original fitting, my knee pain has all but vanished and I feel more comfortable than ever on the bike. I have taken the bike in once to get a slight adjustment as my riding position changed, and Brian's tweaks are just as effective. He is incredibly smart and diligent, but he is also very friendly and understanding. I think he would be great for anyone looking to improve as a cyclist! read more

I had a great experience getting my bike fit with Brian at Paragon Fit Studio! He really knows what he is doing. Just by watching my old position he was able to predict where I was feeling pain and knew just how to fix it. I didn't know how comfortable my bike could be, but with a myriad one tweaks here and there I can now ride for hours without back pain, plus I think I gained a couple of free watts in the process. Brian is super knowledgable and very personable, which makes the time you spend in his studio fly by. The studio is also located in a very nice shop so there are also lots of high-end bikes to checkout while he adjusts your frame. If you are going to spend more than a thousand dollars on a bike, you owe it to yourself to spend a little extra to have Brain set it up right for you. I could not offer a higher recommendation of his services. read more

I got a bike fit at Brian's studio almost a month ago. I wanted to put in some miles before I put in a review but in one word -- Wow. With my new fit, the difference is like night and day. I feel so much more comfortable, all the discomfort is gone and I feel triumphant after every ride. And as for the fitting experience itself, Brian could not be friendlier and more accommodating. He was thorough at every step, answered every question I had. He loves bikes, riding, and people who ride and you can feel the positive energy just being in the same room with him. I am very pleased and would recommend him in a heartbeat. read more

Brian is a very talented fitter, and also a super nice person - I have a few nagging injuries and he was quickly able to figure out what needed to be adjusted to get me feeling comfy on the bike. The adjustments he made seemed (to me, as a layperson), to be super small, but it made a huge difference in terms of the fit and comfort - I feel that I can ride for longer, with more control / balance / power, and somehow it feels easier. I generally just feel more connected to the bike, which is as much as I could ask for. He also spent a lot of extra time fixing a mechanical issue that happened during the adjustment, and ordered me a replacement part from the manufacturer after the fit! He helped me dial in a few remaining issues over email, and the overall cost of the fit was much less than I was expecting given the amount of work he put in. I have had weird vibes from other fitters being condescending, unwilling to listen when I let them know my riding preferences, or otherwise unhelpful - I had none of these issues with Brian, and he went above and beyond to be helpful, friendly, and answer any questions I had. If you're looking for a fitter in the Bay Area, I would recommend Brian without any reservations. read more

Stopped running and started biking because of a herniated disc. Problem was both of my knees, my left hip and my lower back really hurt during / post rides. Randomly bumped into a fellow biker one day and she asked me if I ever got a bike fit. I did not and she recommended I pass by Paragon Fit Studio. I did and the visit to Brian's Studio is probably the best cycling-related thing I've done. Brian did a comprehensive assessment, taking into consideration my aches and injuries. On and off the bike I went while he applied incremental adjustments. The ride back home felt 'natural' and effortless; the pains previously felt were non-existent during my next rides. Brian truly understands the complex connection between body and bicycle. The above would have been enough to justify how happy I was with Paragon's offerings. On top of everything, Brian frequently asked for updates on how the bike felt and asked me to come in for several minor adjustments. I must have gone 3-4 times to Paragon Fit Studio after the initial bike fit, including for a post-crash realignment, and I was not charged a single time. It's pretty clear that Brian cares about his customers. Not only will I be going to Paragon for all future fits, but I know that I gained a friend in the cycling world that is a great cyclist (check out Brian's Strava segments!) and a great person. read more

I've had six fits in the last 12 years, all unfortunately never wholly solved my chronic knee pain. Then I found Paragon Fit Studio through a trusted friend. I set up an appointment, and in one hour my knee issues were gone. Of course, I didn't know it at the time, but on the following day when I went for a ride, it could only be described as an emotional experience. The pain that had been holding me back for years was gone... It was not a simple fix either, which is why no one in the past was able to solve my problem. He also taught me how to understand my body better. Forward 4 months later I'm crushing all of my old PRs and enjoying cycling pain-free. Thank you! read more
