My favorite bike shop in SF! Quick and friendly service, they've tuned up my old bike that I got from my uncle, fix my tires quickly when I bike over glass, and really know their stuff. They all bike around SF which is so cool! They also give bike tours and sell nice bike gear, clothes, snacks, and accessories, and are friends of the SF Bike Coalition! I tell so many others to come here :) Thank you Marcel, Kay, Luis, Egon, Brooke, and team!

Walked in needing both disc brakes adjusted, and a new tube. Steve got me out of there in about 15 minutes. Can't recommend enough!

I read all of the complaints/negative reviews on Yelp before I got there, and I was very pleased and satisfied with the customer service. The top complaints (such as the 2 hour minimum rental, $10 fine for returning bikes to a different location, etc) were clearly highlighted (literally with a highlighter) on the waiver or verbally reminded of. I can definitely see how people will miss this information...if they aren't paying attention (not the employee's fault)! The employees were very patient and personable, and answered any questions we had. They gave us great tips such as the best scenic routes, easy directions, and even showed us how to properly use the bike locks. The front pouch on the bike was big enough to perfectly store a small crossbody/purse and a water bottle. I definitely recommend touring the Fisherman's Wharf, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Golden Gate Bridge, and everything in between- on a bike. We had SO much fun, and we were able to tour the area at our own pace. The little map on the bike was very useful!

However, when I got to the rental shop, I was charged an extra $45 per e-bike, even though I booked the Groupon while chatting with one of the employees who said the Groupon would cover e-bikes. Employee tried to help us by giving directions to Lombard street and he told us we wouldn't have to struggle with the hills because of the e-bikes. Ended up walking the bikes uphill 2 blocks because of his directions. He also said his route would have bike lanes but there were none and we had to bike on the street or the small sidewalks BIGGEST THING: He never explained how to turn the bike light on, I thought it would be a simple click but the e-bikes had different light operation. One of our bikes didn't even have a light. It was so dangerous for us and we had to bike in the dark. I don't understand how you could give bikes out like that and not even check to see if there is a light, not to mention if it's operable or not. TLDR: No bike light, up charge, poor directions

It was nice to see it with the tour too and not have to worry about makes a reservation there. We promptly left at 8am. And the tour shop does have a small bathroom which is nice to use before you leave. Barry was a great tour guide, he loved taking pictures of everyone and knows a lot about San Francisco. We got out of the bus twice to take pictures on the way to Muir Woods. They were great picture stops and we head nice weather to pose in front of Golden Gate Bridge. Even though I've been to SF 5 times I still loved this tour. I've been to Sausalito before and could have skipped that, there is not much to do in that town besides eat something and look at the bay. Muir Woods is the real gem. We had only 1 hour and 15 min to explore on our own. I was alone so I walked fast and think I got to see more than most in that time. I would have liked more time there. You can add on Alcatraz and the bus drops you off there, or he can drop you at fisherman's wharf or back at the tour shop. Highly suggest this tour company! Very friendly, on time and knowledgeable!

We were supposed to be able to stop in Sausalito for lunch. We didn't get to do that at all. We got back with 20 mins to eat and get in line for the ferry to Alcatraz so we were super rushed. The tour guide was also in a big hurry from the minute we started. He also yelled and honked at cars on 3 seperate occasions. The stops were all rushed. And the tour was mostly the tour guide talking about music recorded in San Fran. Don't recommend for the price.

My husband and I rented the GoCar E-Sport yesterday and we had a blast! As Bay Area locals we…read moredecided to be the ultimate tourists and take one of these for his birthday weekend. Customer service over the phone was great, the tour was awesome and we learned new things about San Francisco that we had never learned before. The views were STUNNING and the open air car was awesome. Bring a jacket, the day was perfect sunshine which is unheard of for San Francisco this time of year and I was still frozen at the end of our ride. There were just a few things that kept this from being a 5 star experience: Car condition: the breaks on this e-car literally SCREAMED each time we stopped. The car stopped with no issue, but it totally freaked us out - especially on some of the steep hills. Otherwise the car was in excellent condition and we only depleted maybe 10% of the battery in our 3 hour tour. Front desk staff: check in and out was easy enough, but the front desk staff were realllllllly indifferent. They also talked like auctioneers, crazy fast. They showed all of the folks in the office this map route and talked at the speed of light. Now, we knew about 40% of the stops we would take and still got confused. How on earth are tourists supposed to understand this map direction situation. Seriously, the company would be better off instructing the front desk to say "your car will guide you through this map" than to try to have them explain where people are going. Or at least tell guests that "this seems like a lot, but you have a map in your car and the car will guide you, we are giving you this info so that you have some of the locations in your mind". Tour Guide/GPS: the GPS/Tour Guide storyline sounded like it was for the yellow car only. There were a few times that we were thinking, this can't be referring to our car. For example, there was one steep hill decent that we were going to go on and the GPS/Tour Guide said "I'm only designed to go 25 mph, so take care down this steep hill" we couldn't tell if we were only allowed to go 25 mph or if this cars speed was capped at 25 mph, but the website says that the top speed is 80 mph. Also, we were told that this car can go across the Golden Gate Bridge and the GPS said several times that it is not allowed to go on the bridge. Overall, we had a wonderful time, the GPS worked the entire time and we learned new facts about SF and saw new things that we hadn't noticed before. We also got MANY compliments on this car and almost every group that saw us said that they want to take this car out while on their trip. This was an awesome experience and we will bring family/friends here when they visit for amazing views of the city.

I was frustrated because I kept calling to see if there was anything I needed to do before getting to the place. They said no just come and we'll take your Groupon information. So we got there and it was torture to get signed in. It took us an hour for signing in! Finally, we get in the cars, my gps didn't work well. We went a mile and had to return that car. We got another car and went on our tour. My brother's car had a hard time going up the hill (right before Lombard Street) and it had very little power and it started smoking. We had to wait for them to get to Lombard street. We went down the crookedest street then quickly returned the cars. My brother was afraid that he and my sister in law would stall or that the car would catch on fire. We ended our tour 1 hour early. Issues are the cars look used up and not well maintained. They need more workers at the front desk and car pickup area. Cars should be checked prior to customers coming to ensure they're going to work well. I think this is a GREAT idea and very fun. I was able to see more of SF because of this amazing self guided tour. The reason I didn't rate my experience as a 5 star is the wait time checking in and the car issues.

I love San Francsico and now even more after exploring this side of the city on a bike, and a Cannondale Quick at that! Back to this location in SF As a San Jose native I never really considered a bike rental but wow, game changer, Highly recommend to all Bay Area natives to give sf another try, on a bike! Our first day we got oriented thanks to the classic downtown tour that takes you through the city heart at a very manageable pace....seeing things I guarantee you'll never find on your own. Our guide Josh is a SF native and simply the best guy giving 200% to help visitors share his pride in this magnificent city. You visit the various barrios (e.g., Mission, Haight, Castro, civic center, golden gate park, etc.) learning about their history & challenges due to gentrification. This is what I really appreciated from Josh...his native viewpoint on what's happening to hs city with all the tech worker riches. 2) On the next day we returned for their Golden Gate bridge & Sausalito bike ride....this time Staci led us across the most famous bridge in the world (??). Again, WONDERFUL....her detour past the Palace of Fine Arts was really appreciated too. But the ride isn't all you get, his shop had available sunscreen (NO charge....where will you find that) and spare wind breakers for tourists like me who underdress for the chill SF winds). And once your ride end there are the local restaurant & bar guides for free to plan the rest of your stay ---and avoid tourist trap rip-offs. HIGHLY recommend for your first day in the city--this firm one of the best I've ever had in world-wide travelling :)
