I didn't order any food, but I did notice that they have vegan breakfast items on the menu, so I'll probably have to go back at some point to try them. The inside was quite full, and I didn't see any available tables. So, I meandered outside and found a long community table that was lovely. And I was able to get my dog out of the car to sit with me, which was nice. I got a latte with nondairy milk, and the surcharge for nondairy milk was $.80 because our country sucks and they subsidize the horrible dairy industry. I've never eaten inside but I've waited inside long enough for my phone order. I placed a phone order for a burger and fries, I was quoted 20min. I arrived after quoted time and my food still wasn't "ready". Upon arrival I saw a brown bag sitting on the counter for pick up but I couldn't assume it was mine. While waiting for my food, I noticed that patrons seemed well pleased and in good spirits. There are two entrances and outside seating. Street parking only. You stop at the counter, place your order, pay & wait. Staff were friendly and all greeted me with a smile. They were pretty busy, 15min passed and I asked about my order, I was told about 5 more minutes, meanwhile the same brown paper bag was still sitting on the counter. A woman came and asked what I ordered and the name on the order. After telling her, she grabbed the bag on the counter and gave it to me. While she assured me the bag wasn't there for too long, I asked for new fries and they honored that. My grass-fed cheeseburger was amazing! My fries were piping hot too. I also ordered the paradise egg sandwich and that was amazing as well. The green machine smoothie had an off putting after taste so I wouldn't order that again. read more

What a gem of a corner cafe! Can't believe I haven't seen this cafe pop up on my yelp before but so glad I could drop by. This is is a mix between cafe, juicery and restaurant! There's going to be something on the menu for everyone - and the best part is the happy hour menu. There's a variety of seat options and even a kids play zone. Stay to work or stay to chat and eat. Lots of people get takeout as well. We did some work with the free and fast WiFi over a latte. Then when it hit 3pm we could order a $10 margarita pizza for an afternoon pick me up. Overall Vibe Great spot for getting work done, there are outdoor tables too, which gives it a relaxed, open feel. this place is perfect. I've been coming here for 10 years and every time it's been amazing. Their coffee is great. I always get breakfast They're always awesome. And their burgers are some of the best of the best they put these little fried onions on them that are just delightful. Anyone would complain about this place is insane. They are a vegan in our community. And they also offer healthy options. You can get salads and juice. There are not enough places like this around that offer healthy food, fast and affordable. There are plenty of tables for gathering, including outdoor seating, and even a small play area for children. Coffee and food are decent! They offer a variety of espresso-based drinks, smoothies, sandwiches, brunch plates, and salads, with many vegan and vegetarian options. Their menu is very fairly priced. I personally love how thick their slices of carrot cake and banana bread are. Not sure where they source their pastries and it doesn't seem like they're made in house but they're tasty and they do the job! I've noticed they are at times inconsistent with the quality of their sandwiches/burritos/wraps -- sometimes they're stuffed and sometimes I'm left literally wanting more. It has a distinctive "community" feel to it, with patrons including people on dates, seniors, families with small children, groups of friends, and solo customers working or studying. It was it was a little short on the curry flavor. Okay, I keep coming back to Paradise Park Cafe because the food is just so yummy, the drinks are great, and the staff are always friendly and warm. It can be a kinda chilly place when the weather outside is cold, but that doesn't really take anything away from the food, drinks, or service. Try the tater tots, the bagel sandwich, and the herb scramble for some delicious brunch options. They also do a golden turmeric latte, that you can make dirty with a shot of espresso and then have a boost in alertness and health! read more

I come in for chai and pastries every blue moon, both are consistently good! I love to stop in to do work and although I wish they had more outlets, it's one of my top cafes to WFH. I just ordered this morning the kale smoothie and the paradise salad with grilled chicken and omg! Seriously what a refreshing meal I had. I was a little worried about ordering from here due to the rating but there were enough vegan items that I decided to take a chance, and I am so glad I did because I loved what I got. I used DoorDash and everything was perfectly packaged. The vegan breakfast burrito was so delicious and flavorful, and not in the greasy heavy way that breakfast burritos usually are (which I can be in the mood for but sometimes I want something that doesn't sit as heavily in my stomach). It was definitely tangy, probably due to the tomatoes or maybe pickled onions, but so tasty especially with the chickpea tofu. Came with a side of tater tots which were still pretty crunchy even being delivery. I also ordered the paradise salad and added quinoa with extra chickpea tofu. It was so good, I loved the textures and especially loved the smokiness of tbe grilled asparagus (which usually isn't my favorite vegetable). The people are lovely, and the ambiance is delightful. But every sandwich I've ever ordered the bread is rock hard. This is my neighborhood go to spot for salads, breakfast, coffee, pastries etc. my favorite thing here is their paradise salad with the chicken sausage. But I also get the Cobb and some of the others as well. Everything is always tasty. For parents: this place is awesome there is a kid corner with toys and comfy seating. Safe place for kids to play and they can snack on muffins and you can eat your own food and enjoy some coffee. HUGE parent win. I don't know why more places don't do this. Lots of fun things to try here! I've had a beet and ginger juice, veggie banh mi, quinoa burger, and veggie breakfast burrito. Everything was superb, especially the banh mi. I've passed by this place driving on San Pablo but was not tempted to stop by until recently when I noticed James and the Giant Cupcake was a couple of doors down. It's not that I'm a cupcake whore. OK, maybe a mini-cupcake whore which is like saying I'm an anorexic glutton. Anyway, I got my mini-cupcakes to go and decided maybe I could have an actual meal here. After all, I just finished my brisk walk on the Bay Bridge Trail, so I felt deserving.
