Unfortunately, our first visit to Crestline as a family of seven started on a disappointing note. While walking through town, we saw the sign for this coffee shop and decided to stop in. There was only one customer ahead of us, so we took a few moments to look over the menu while some of my family members grabbed bottled drinks from the refrigerator. When I asked the older woman working behind the counter if they had any iced coffee beverages, she simply pointed at the menu in what came across as an irritated manner. I then ordered an iced macchiato. After she prepared the drink, she told me the total was $8. I politely mentioned that the menu listed it as $7.50. Instead of explaining the difference, she pointed back at the sign and gestured with her hand as if to hurry me up and pay. I was honestly caught off guard by how unfriendly and rushed the interaction felt. I ended up declining the drink because the customer service made me feel so unwelcome. As a family, we didn't feel greeted or appreciated as customers. We were looking forward to supporting a local small business, and with a group our size, we likely would have spent around $40 or more. Sadly, because of the experience, we chose to leave instead. We visit Crestline and plan to return in the future, but unfortunately we won't be returning to this coffee shop. Great customer service can make all the difference, and sadly, that wasn't our experience here. read more

The coffee is ok. Good but not great. It was $8 for a large vanilla iced latte (July 2025). The syrup was not mixed and was all at the bottom. I realize latte has a lot of milk, but I couldn't taste the coffee in my drink. I threw most of it out when I usually cherish nu coffee. This was just a dud. I haven't been disappointed in a coffee shop in a while and this one just didn't hit the mark. I will not return since Crestline has other options available. read more

I am a big coffee guy so much that my addiction has spilled over to my wife and daughters. We stopped in to get coffee ( we were new to the mountain) the owner was there to greet us and recommended hot coffees we normally would drink, ( I think this type of service is rare these days) we ordered sat down in the chair and enjoyed the coffee and fun mountain decorations she had in her store along with a few antique pieces that sparked a conversation between my daughter and I . Melting! Overpriced horrible coffee drinks. I'd overlook that if at least customer service was decent. Drawn in by the cute decor, but inside it was grimy. Got a lukewarm iced specialty drink - $10 including tip I punched in. Sat down to enjoy my drink and get a few things done on my computer. 5 mins later, the owner and barista shut off the AC and fan, opened the door and went outside. It was 92* outside and super stuffy in the cafe. They still had an hour before closing. We went to a cafe to order breakfast and they had no iced coffee! Fortunately, Paradise Mountain Coffee was down the block so we stopped and grabbed some drinks. This place is absolutely adorable! It looks like someone's home, very retro with vintage furniture pieces. I decided to order the iced Mexican mocha and it was soooo delicious and STRONG! My daughter ordered the pina colada which she did enjoy, and my friend ordered an iced mocha which she said was the best she's had in awhile! The worse latte I have ever had! We ordered an iced latte and an iced matcha latte and it was almost $19 for both. The lady handed us our drinks and there was barely any ice and it was already melting. We tried them and it was very clear that they were just warm drinks with ice in it. No espresso shot in the latte. Matcha tasted like not blended protein powder and sugar. we even tried asking for extra ice and she said she would charge more for more ice. We kindly told her that it wasn't what we expected and we would like a refund and she was very rude and said she couldn't do a refund because she wasn't the owner ( pretty sure she was) Would give 0 starts if I could. read more

If you are looking for a cute coffee shop, this one is the cutest! My husband and I came out to crestline to run the trail at lake Gregory and after wanted to fuel up, they have sandwiches and bagels and they are known for their original Stroopwafels they sell, the worker there was sweet when we met her and there was another lady who is local was very welcoming, we got bagels with cream cheese and their caramel macchiato was good! Choices in the local area of Crestline for pretty much everything, are few. Most of the time as long as you have a good enough choice, it'll do. Paradise mountain coffee didn't even get a chance to be that. We arrive about 1hr before closing and found the owners, outside doing some tidying up. Sweeping and moving chairs and what not. One of them was adamantly against wearing a mask. He did his things without a mask on. He walked in amd out of the shop with customers there, with no mask on. He stood outside and had a smoke, and walked in and out of the place With the cigarette on. This type of disregard for rules sets a precedent and gave us a feeling of distrust. No other coffee shops were open in the area and we were ok with passing on a hot drink for the cold night ahead. I couldn't say anything about the menu but if the leadership that is shown by the owners is that which we saw from the parking lot, we prefer to take our business elsewhere or nowhere in this case. read more

If you're looking for small town ambiance or a good snack, do not stop here. The best way to describe this would be gas station mini mart with fresh coffee. The coffee is ok, fairly certain it's whatever is cheapest at Sam's Club. A very unfortunate underutilization of what could be a cute space. read more

The Asian lady who owns and runs this coffee shop is incredibly unkind. In the last decade, she has been nothing but rude and mean to me as a customer. I am not her scapegoat in her treatment of me. This little place is super kitschy, but it just adds to the charm. A family run business - it offers a wide selection of teas and coffee. This place looks very cute from the outside but is clearly outdated on the inside, and very dusty. Time needs to be spent de-cluttering and dusting the inside for people to enjoy their coffee in. I ordered an iced chi tea latte and an iced coffee. The coffee was you basic iced coffee with room for cream and sugar. The woman making the drinks was confused when I asked for an iced chai tea latte. For some reason she blended my drink and put it over ice. My first sip and every sip after was a powdery sugar substance mixed with milk. The drink was awful; I immediately lost my appetite and threw away the drink. Iv stopped here a few times when visiting crestline and I always get a hot vanilla latte. The lady who works there is nice, she doesn't talk much but she always smiles when I come in and is polite. I always use the bathroom there because of the long drive from downhill and by the time I come out my coffee is ready. There's seating inside and out. There's snacks, treats and beef jerky. Overall it's a cute coffee shop. If your use to mediocre Starbucks this might not be the place for you. I love trying out different coffee shops from all over and this one is cute and has character. Watery coffee, well barely any coffee actually. It tasted like water. Service wasn't as friendly as expected because my cappachino was all foam and didn't even turn off white when I mixed it....so I asked for more coffee in it and was told this is what a cappachino is. I've had cappachino before and that was not it, for one I couldn't taste coffee at all. My sister bought a regular coffee and it was watery, as in doesn't even taste like coffee!!! Like water literally water. It was gross and it's not like it was $1. Kinda wish I went to McDs instead for a $1 cup of actual coffee. Disappointed and will not be returning. read more

Was happy to find this quaint little "joint" along Lake Drive. Felt good to relax and enjoy a warm latte after walking in the snow. The decor is very rustic and the service was great.
