When we got there, apparently nothing had been communicated to the hostess. What made it worse was that the same guy then denied ever telling me on the phone that he would get a table ready. If they couldn't accommodate us, that would have been completely fine. Just tell me that when I call and we'll go somewhere else. Instead, we loaded up six kids, drove over based on what we were told, and then were basically turned away. We asked for the manager hoping they could at least help figure something out, but unfortunately the manager wasn't helpful either and offered no real resolution. Mistakes and miscommunications happen. What bothered me was denying what was said instead of simply owning the mistake and trying to make it right.
