This place is a little off the beaten path from where we were vacationing but we discovered it while on a boat and it looked like such a cool spot we had to stop in for lunch. It is really all about the scenery here and they have made you feel like you are on a vacation island from the seating in the sand and right on the water to the tree cover and big wooden picnic tables. It truly is a relaxing and fun vibes place and that to me is or was the biggest pro here. One I would totally go back for if it wasn't so far from where we had been staying. Large drink menu with all kinds of fun crushes and punches. All of the drinks we tried were refreshing and you could taste the alcohol. Big plus in my eyes! The fruit punch cocktail was probably my favorite. Think of a grown up Hawaiian Punch- hit the spot on the hot day we went. Service was great, very nice waitress that provided wonderful service to our bigger party. We got a few appetizers and lunch options. The nachos were pretty good and a nice thing to munch on with our drinks! Crabcake was okay- not the best I've had but not bad. Everyone else seemed to like their meals. My oldest wasn't happy with how overdone his burger was.... But he can be picky. The tacos also seemed to be a big hit too! Overall a decent spot for food and drinks- I think the layout, seating, and experience of it all is the best part and why I would recommend it. It's a cool place to check out for sure. Paradise grill is a staple stop during our family vacation. Drinks are as large and strong as you want them to be. Wait for dinner can be pretty long with a family of 5+ but the atmosphere while you wait it great. Once you do get seated, service is prompt. Food is mediocre but gets the job done. The Sensational Soul Cruisers are an amazing and tireless band performing the best of Motown hits including choreography. They were terrific the afternoon we were there in Paradise. If you're drinking beer, I' recommend getting your beer in draft from the raw bar. I think the Beach bar keeps canned beer on ice repeatedly day after day until it sells. Bar tenders could be more attentive. I could appreciate if they're busy but it seemed like they spent a lot of time talking with each other rather than checking on customers. Every time I needed another drink I had to deliberately flag someone down. The food was fine, but seemed kinda pricey for what it is. $18 for a flatbread with no additional sides felt like a bit much. We are locals here. This site draws huge crowds in the summer season because of the ambience, i.e. outdoors under roof, soft breezes, palm trees and great music. Plenty of bar locations as well. Very cool spot. Right on the water, tucked back into what seems like a retirement community or vacation homes. Lots of seating available that is spread out. Simple menu. We had a group of 14 people. Nobody had anything bad to say about their meal. Myself and 3 others got the signature flounder pounder. It was impressive. Huge piece of fried fish , seasoned really well, very crunchy breading. Not overly breaded. The fish was cooked perfectly and very flaky. I would definitely order it again. It was so good we didn't even take a picture before digging in. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they weren't even that busy but the waits were long. We got the appetizers and some of the meals before we even got our drinks. We were going to head into Paradise Grill to grab a drink and hear the live music but we saw a sign for the raw bar (connected to it) and went there. We'll as soon as we sat down we had the please of being served by Spice who is the shucker for the oysters. Typically I go for Blue Point oysters so for the first dozen we got half blue point and half the rest of the choices. For the second dozen Spice talked us through each one and we decided to split the rehobeth bay oysters and the chincoteague ones and they were salty delicious. There was also a different gentleman playing live music on this side of the establishment at the raw bar. Ambiance is great as it's right on the water and has a beach bar vibe with good food and drinks. We will definitely be heading back for the service we experienced from Spice. read more

This rating is specifically for Paradise Pub, not Paradise Grill, although I have been informed that the two establishments are affiliated. As Paradise Pub does not appear to have its own Yelp page, I am posting this review here. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend Paradise Pub due to the excessively loud music, which makes it difficult to converse or enjoy a meal. The music selection during my visits was also not particularly impressive. Furthermore, the bartender and manager appear to be unfamiliar with the operation of the TVs. Delaware's lack of a professional sports team or Division I NCAA college team may be reflected in the atmosphere at Paradise Pub, where enthusiastic support for one's team seems to be discouraged. On one occasion, my friend was asked to leave after being told that his cheering was too loud. Despite his refusal to exit, he was eventually escorted out by a group of staff members and patrons. We were laughing afterwards in the parking lot of how many it took to get him out .This incident was followed by the ejection of another friend and his girlfriend, who had been waiting for an extended period to receive service. The entire experience was highly unsatisfactory, and I would caution others against visiting this establishment. The management's behavior was particularly unprofessional, and I would not hesitate to express my opinions to them directly if I were to return in the future. Oh, and the food was Meh read more

The cheesesteak egg rolls weren't even done the french fries not done the shrimp and the fish and chips ridiculous not taste and the flatbread with the mystery meat on it I'm grossed out, I spent over $80 and was extremely disappointed. Rode 30 miles on motorcycles to eat here at the suggestion of folks that thought it was a good place for a nice meal. Was greeted by signs and security that refused motorcycles entrance. So the group of us that are business owners, doctors, lawyers and a fireman were told we could not stay. What a crappy policy turning away upstanding citizens with money wanting to relax over a nice meal. Only assuming it would have been good food. They had the grease band playing, a talent show, a park, ice cream stand, raw bar, main bar and restaurant. I got there after sundown so I missed the sun over the bay. The cheesesteak was less than stellar. The meat was well seasoned and juicy but there needed to be a whole lot more of it. The roll was very good but not for a cheesesteak. $14.99 was way to much. So the biggest disappointment was that they were closed on Monday and Tuesday 28&29th of August. We rented a House that was a 1/4 mile Golf Cart drive to. So after looking at the Lights for 3 days we finally went to Lunch. I'm sure that on weekends and holidays you can't get near the place, I say that based upon the overflow parking lot about 1/2 mile away and shuttle Vans to ferry customers back and forth. Additionally, it is in a private community with ranch style modular homes of various sizes, in at Pot-Nets Community. But let's get back to the Restaurant, we're it appears to be very Family friendly with outdoor space for Kids to play and Parents chill in Beach chairs and enjoying Drinks., inside is massive, 3 Large Bars 4 Dining Areas, Boat docks open Air and enclosed dining and Live Music. So here's my thoughts, they are a destination type Club, they can be a Bar that serves food or a Good Restaurant that is also a very Entertaining Pub. So To start they make a Good Margarita, and offer a good selection of Canned and Tap Beers, they are Selective in their Menu Selection and from our selections they do it well . We had their Egg Roll, a Southwest style, fresh and delicious good mix of Ingredients, the Calamari was a little Bland could use a lighter batter vs Breading but not Chewy at all, a well prepared item, The fish and Fries was Excellent, couldn't believe it, the breading covered the fish well and the fish was light and flavorful. There Salads were full of fresh Produce, and the Combination was delicious. We were there on a Wednesday afternoon in late August, Excellent Staff and Service, Looking for a Fun Evening place or Relaxing lunch. In the Long Neck area, make it a Point to visit. read more

My family went to this place last year in the fall. Went there today with wifey. Nice place. Band was a little loud But good. Server was excellent. Checked with us several times throughout the time we were there , but not so much we had to be buddies. Nice work Joe.
