    Bike Tune ups.

Easy comfortable and attentive service. Good communication. Tun around very fast, at a reasonable cost. They service many brands. I have Two Bianchi's, one repaired and both tuned up.

PG on the corner of Price and High beside Local Bar, a standard bike shop with fantastic service and a staff with a lust for cycling. It is a well spaced out, clean, and merchandized spot with an interesting inventory of various types of bikes. Their accessories, equipment, technology, lights, and parts are priced competitively. Some of the bikes for sale beat other places other not so much. But there is a great selection. They also have rentals priced from $35 to $75 a day. It is a nice stop when I am biking around on a hot summer day.

Everyone I know was psyched to see a bike shop moving into the Short North. The number one questions I heard: "Do they do bike repairs?" No, Paradise Garage does not do repairs. They'll re-inflate your tires for you if you bought your bike there, but that's about it...for now. While they're not a repair shop, they do have some pretty cool bikes and cycling and street gear. I think all their bikes are foreign, which is good to know if you're into that sort of thing. They have a lot of Dutch models. Another thing I like is that the store is always bright and clean. There's a hip feel here, like this is more of an apparel store with a really great bike selection too. Strange but good.

As an Victorian Village denizen and an avid bike commuter, Paradise Garage has proven to be the answer to my prayers. I hopped on my bike to ride to work in German Village the other day only to find that the tube in my back tire was blown out- yikes! I considered my options briefly, and decided that Paradise Garage was the closest alternative. I was worried that the highly stylized and trendy storefront that this High Street bike shop calls home may be reason to believe that their actual bike service would be subpar and overpriced, but boy was I ever wrong! I gave them a call to get the details, and a guy named Josh assured me that the solution to my problem would be quick and, more importantly, cheap. About a half an hour later after walking my bike in to PG, they replaced my tub for a mere $8 and put me back on my way. I started to notice what felt like my rear break getting looser and looser over the past week, so I had them look at that as well while I was in there. One of the other mechanics was able to tighten it up in just a couple of minutes, and he did it for free! The sales floor is set up much like the neighboring boutiques found in the Short North and hosts a stylish and moderately priced variety of bikes from brands like Biria and Dahon, along with a host of clothing options for the hipsters that ride them. Brands like Superlative Conspiracy, Bench, and Alternative Apparel are some of the brands available, and although they tend to be pricey, they're not far out of the realm of most of the newer styles found at Urban Outfitters or Dr. Mojoe. They're likely to share many of the same customers, so it can be seen as a smart move on their behalf. Rounded off by an unobtrusive soundtrack of rock and indie hip hop, friendly and attentive service, and a formidable selection of helmets, lights, and other bike accessories, Paradise Garage is the perfect one-stop shop for the ever-swelling population of bikers in the greater Columbus area.

Just a heads up: The Paradise Garage is neither a garage or paradise. Just wanted to clear that up first. :) Moving on... I had never been in here before last night but of course even with the bikes coming at me in 3d from ALL angles I made a beeline to the super cool non-biking clothes. I was incredibly impressed with the fun things I found here. So much so that I made mental lists of all the people that would like this shirt or that jacket, etc. Super nice staff and incredible assortment of bikes and other fun stuff. A must see if you're in the area as it isn't just your typical bike shop.

On High St. in the Short North, Paradise Garage is a quaint little bike boutique very much in the style that permeates the shops of the area. Narrow and not real big for a bike store, PG makes the most of its space by hanging the entire stock of SE single gears down the right wall. I have yet to ride any of those particular bikes but I can see how they would appeal to a wide variety of people, and are available with either the standard road-bike handbars or moutain-style straight bars. Single gear means no shifting for you non bikers, making the bikes about as easy to ride as it gets. They seem to be a decent quality of bike for around $250, a healthy alternative to paying $4/gallon at the pump. Besides the SE's, Paradise Garage has some other easy to ride bikes such as the side-swing and dutch-style Biria bikes and even the original old Dutch bike itself. It's not all about the bikes in here, though. Besides a little of the bike gear you would expect to see (helmets, bags, etc...) they have a good selection of cool clothes that have nothing to do with biking; jeans and T's and such. The vibe in the style is less bike store and more short north shop, which should make it easier for those non-hardcore bikers to walk in and feel at home.

I love it here. It's the best garage of all the garages . Simply no other garage can compare to this garage.

He stated there are two Specialized Como Turbo e-bikes at his BikeSource shop on Sawmill Road. Ironically, this was the last day I could purchase a new ebike before leaving town. I wasn't born yesterday. His phone message was a CYA attempt to appease BikeSource management that he reached out to a complaining, potential customer. What about the TWELVE DAYS I lost of valuable vacation time waiting for an ebike to be shipped to BikeSource? I can't get those days back to cycle in Ohio. Hopefully, Ethan does better with future ebike customers. I'll never set foot in that store again that's for sure!

IMO I actually bought the bicycle from the manger Will. He was great by the way and helped me dial it in with customizing it. They had the color I wanted in stock but I wanted to add the custom brown wall tires with the reflective stripe so they had to order them. This was not a problem, considering it was the 2st week of February. About a week and a half later Ethan called and said my bike was ready for pick up. When I got there and inspected the bike, I noticed a very small scratch on the bike and handle bar. I was really quiet and didn't know what to say? I felt kinda bummed, ya know? Ethan asked me if everything was alright and I showed him two minor flaws and explained to him I'm kinda OCD and he took a look and immediately was willing to rectify the situation. Very empathetic the entire time, he offered to order another one or discount this one a little if needed be. Most people couldn't care less but I asked him if it wouldn't be too much trouble if I got another one. Needless to say, another week later and I received a phone call saying the bike was ready. The fact that Ethan went above and beyond and understood how I felt without even really saying anything to him spoke volumes to me on how Bike Source employee(s) takes care of their customers. Ethan was super cool the entire experience and I loved showing up and they had the pedals on and all ready for me to ride was awesome. The fact my bike is little custom than stock is also really cool.

Sure enough, loowwwwww... Just the air, that's all I need. Sooooo... While I was there I picked up a couple fresh, larger capacity water bottles... because you know, Pelotonia and all, will be nice to have fresh bottles. And a few packets of GU - always good to have, just in case you're unexpectedly bonking on the ride, you know. While I was cashing out, I struck up a conversation with the charming and helpful Kristen. (I dunno if that's spelled correctly or not - not the point of this). Do they have footies I ask (apparently not what everyone else calls them, but I'm weird like that). Sure they do. "What do you think of this floor pump Kristin?" Didn't like it as much, but showed me one she likes better and told me why - made perfect sense and really I need a floor pump that handles Presta AND Schrader valves. Oh man, I remember, I never replaced my cycle computer. "Well we have the Wahoo brand platform, blah blah" says Kristen. I don't need all that junk of course, I've been using a Cat Eye for years and it's broken. "Oh we have those too, the Padrone and another..." she continues. This Cat Eye in my hand says Stealth edition on the box, I notice... wonder what's stealthy about it??? Into the buy bag it goes. Remember man, all I went in for was air. But I really truly did need all this other stuff too. And Kristen helped me out with absolutely zero upsell pressure - which is nice. She was stealthily helpful in a good way. Roll UA has been supremely assistive as I return to long distance riding after so many years absence. Super friendly folks all the way round. And I really appreciate it.
