This is my favorite Asian buffet around here... well, actually my favorite buffet overall around this area. It's always clean and so yummy. I love the hibachi at no extra charge. The desserts are yummy and the fried shrimp is my favorite! I love this place, I just wish they had strawberries to dip in the chocolate fountain and different chocolate cake! On Saturday July 9 a group of 4 (including me) had the lunch buffet. It was delicious. After we left I couldn't find my purse. I assumed I left it at the restaraunt. I called and the staff was wonderful!! they checked the booth and checked the cameras. Well---I had walked out with my purse after a thourgh check of the vehicle I found my purse. Traveling to Indianapolis stopped off to get some lunch. Was not very busy, clean and buffet was maintained continually during my visit. Staff was very attentive and readily available to assist. Now why I chose my rating. The food was just ok. I sampled lot of different items off all the bars but nothing grabbed at me to get another portion of it. Very bland on most things. My boyfriend and i come here all the time and each and everytime we come here their food isn't made fresh and is cold. Today I had a roll and the bottom was as hard as a rock, his broccoli was cold along with the lo mein noodles. Everything felt as if it was sitting there for a long time and they weren't even busy. Hopefully they boost it up a notch, we love coming here but food is just bland. read more

I was pretty impressed. I haven't been to a Chinese buffet in along time. All of the food was fresh. The prime rib looked well prepared. There was fried shrimp, cocktail shrimp, and sautéed. Judging by other reviews I read on here, the restaurant either read the reviews and took them seriously or I just happened to go there at the right time. The buffet was completely stocked and while we were there, not a single item was allowed to run out or even get low for that matter. All the food was fresh and hot. On top of that, this place ruined me for any other Chinese buffet restaurant because everything was good and some things were SO good that I couldnt believe I was paying the same price as I pay everywhere else. (and I am a fat bastard who wears out buffets on a regular basis) Their stuffed mushrooms, frog legs and rangoon were by FAR the best I have ever had at any other buffet anywhere (I get around too, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan). Actually, almost everything I tried was MUCH better than anywhere else I have been, and what wasnt, was at least as good. I usually dread working in Auburn, but Paradise Buffet has made me look forward to working there from now on. read more

I'm not usually a fan of buffets in general, but I'm so glad we tried this one!! I love Chinese food and sushi but most Chinese buffets are gross and the food tastes old like it's been sitting out. Not this one! Every single thing from this buffet is hot and fresh and not overcooked with so many choices. The sushi is fresh and well done, and the hibachi bar is a nice option. Plenty of American style food and dessert if you want that too. Every single time we're on our way to Indiana now I make my husband stop here! So worth it! read more

The Restaurant servers were rude, the food was NOT fresh and seemed as though it had been sitting out for hours, and they are WAY over priced. They charge $14.00 a person, for old/hard food. No thanks! I WOULD NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you are a visitor to Auburn, don't waste your time or money at this restaurant. Four of us found ourselves in Auburn and on the recommendations of one who had been here before, we went to the Paradise Buffet. I asked our waitress if they had beer or wine, but her English was not good and she couldn't answer me. So, I don't know if they do or not. The selection is large and most of what I tried was OK. The sushi wasn't good. The roast beef was, as were the rice, fruits, and, interestingly enough, the fried frogs' legs! I tried one as I hadn't had one in decades and it was tasty - even though it tasted like chicken! There are lots of desserts, but I only had a dish of ice cream; there are four varieties and all are cold and hard. Often places like that let their ice cream get soft and mushy. The check was reasonable, so I left full and reasonably satisfied, which for me was good as I am usually not much for Chinese buffets. read more

I'm here at the Paradise Buffet in Auburn Indiana just off Highway 69. I'm here with my son loves crab legs were here for the Sunday dinner. I was impressed with this place and after eating here still am. The crab legs were an additional cost, which didn't please me. But the prime rib was just that prime rib! It had your regular fare of Chinese delicacies like General Tso's chicken, fried chicken wings, deep fried fish, chicken and broccoli, a couple of shrimp dishes, chicken on a stick, fried frog legs, assorted salads, fruits, Fruit salads, sushi bar... But I still can't get over this huge chunk of prime rib that they were serving. Any thickness you wanted. Hot and sour soup, egg drop soup, even clam chowder. Even if you are not a fan of Chinese cuisine you would find something you would enjoy here! The price was right at only $11.59 per person. That's about all, bring your family and enjoy yourselves it's affordable. read more

I stopped in for dinner, pulled my semi into their parking lot and turned around, flat with spread, parked and cane in. Some people in mask, some not, all employees of course had them on, no nothing about the semi. It is being served cafeteria style, but if you don't stop them they just keep filling your plate. The taste was better than typical China buffet, I had 1 plate of regular food and 3 plates of sushi, no complaints. It takes something extra special for me to give a 5 star, so by my account, 4 star is a really good average kind of place to eat. It is a great atmosphere with staff you can't get mad about, on top of everything, changing out food, drinks, and helping potion food it's phenomenal! read more

Went here for a family gathering while in from out of state. They have a room you can reserve for parties. They offer several different buffets. 2 with hot foods, one with sushi, one for salad, one for fruits, one for desserts. They also have an ice cream freezer where you can scoop your own ice cream. The bathroom was clean & they actually had changing tables in both the men's & women's restroom, which was great because we had 2 infants with us that both needed changed at the same time. Food was hot & fresh, wasn't a huge fan of their spring rolls or lo mein though. My only contructive criticisms would be they need to have sanitizer bottles at the buffets & to put a handle on the exterior of the party room door. There was one on the inside, but not the outside, so every time someone got up to get food they couldn't close the door behind them & we had several toddlers running around so someone would have to get up & close it from the inside. read more

Better! :) I reviewed this eating establishment last year with a three star rating. The main contributor to my decision to rate it so low was because I tried their Sushi, and it tasted like I submerged my taste buds in lake water, and the fact that their food itself was kinda meh. However, we returned to Paradise Buffet last month, and I can honestly say they've improved. Their Sushi isn't nasty, and their food has improved drastically. It's the only buffet style restaurant my family and I go to... and we drive to Auburn specifically to eat here. They have delicious food with a large variety to choose from. We have been here over 10 times and it is always clean. The buffet options are always full and the service is fast and friendly. The have usual chinese fare, sushi and a hibachi grill, plus prime rib, fish, steak, sausage, pizza, sushi, fried shrimp, cocktail shrimp, salad bar, and dessert area with chocolate fountain. This is a pretty nice Chinese American buffet. Not the best one I've been to but not the worst. The offer a large bar of fresh sushi and another of fresh steaks and beef. Or you can make a custom stir-fry. They have all the topical Chinese buffet foods plus an American spin. This is a good place to go if you are meeting with a large group because they have two private rooms in the back that can be easily reserved. read more

The nicest American-Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. The décor and ambience are very nice, and there's plenty of seating which leads me to wonder if it fills up during busy hours. I didn't see any vegetarian sushi out, and when I asked about it, the chef's made me my own vegetarian roll - eight pieces! Some of the food could have tasted a bit fresher, but that didn't stop me from finishing both my plates. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and for dessert, I ate yummy treats from their chocolate fountain! I'd recommend this restaurant, especially to larger parties who can't decide on somewhere to eat. :) read more

They had the rarest, juicy, tasty prime rib on Sunday. Came close to closing yet they still stocked the lines with fresh vittles. Hot and sour soup good not like my hometown fave but it passes.
