a menu for a chinese restaurant

Very good, great portions.. Ordered Take Out; Bought #64:quart Bean Curd with Broccoli, #60:quart Sautéed mixed vegetables, & #12:quart of Egg Drop Soup. Came with 2 small cartons of white rice, 2 bags of crispy strips & 2 fortune cookies... You may ask for sauces, chop sticks & silverware. Pleasant staff, 15-20 minutes to prepare items. We parked behind the Kroger's, came in the back from the street in the delivery area, turned around & was able to go back to the street without issues. Great alternative to fast food. They do have a regular buffet as well.

Always good showing up at your family's house in Indiana, and knowing that you will either eat pasta or Chinese food! Well we got word that it was going to be Chinese this time and we were trying a new place (for us) called Peking Buffett! We were ordering out, so we didn't actually get the buffet but I offered to pay and go get the food so I got to see the steam rolling off the food even at 8pm at night! It looked hot and delicious! Our take out order was hot and delicious as well! I got bean curd tofu with veggies and dang, I loved it.. The tofu was crispy and hot, just how I like it and I seriously downed my whole meal with rice included in about five minutes! No time for chopsticks here, we are going in with a fork and we ain't coming back out until every drip of the sauce is licked out of your plastic to go container! I was super stoked on my meal, and the service was very nice when I went to pick up the order as well, offering up extra sauces and fortune cookies! If you are in Auburn, IN or driving down I-69, and your fortune cookie is telling you it's time to eat, I would easily recommend! Peking Buffet! It was great! I will be back for sure!

Only ate here once, food was sub par and not good. Prices too high for quality of food.

Not in the mood for pizza (again), so what else is there in little old Auburn, Indiana? That is a…read moregood question! We decided perhaps Chinese food would be a good choice. We had three places to choose from (Oriental Gourmet and Peking Buffet) being the other two. No good reason originally for choosing China Buffet other than I saw it first while driving around town. When we called the number to order ahead I was greeted with a "Hello?" and that was it. No "Hello, this is China Buffet" so I said "oops wrong number" and hung up. Both the phone book and their carryout menu list the number I called. Once I arrived there I believe it was the young girl (middle school age?) who answered that one. So be on guard if you want to call in your order. The place is easy to get to right off Seventh St. in a little strip mall area. Plenty of parking. Make sure to enter the strip mall to find the door to China Buffet. Inside it's your typical Chinese restaurant decor. They do have a fish tank, which I've never seen in a Chinese place before. Unfortunately it's right near the cash register and there's no seating there if you were hoping to entertain little ones with fish-watching. Place looked clean and nice. I was pleased to hear Chinese being spoken. I thought that was a good omen. The woman and her daughter were polite, kind, and easy to communicate with (which as we know isn't always the case when getting Chinese food, let's be honest). At this point we're at a 4 star rating. Easy to get to, nice employees, clean, food came in a reasonable time, etc. The woman even threw in an extra egg roll on my way out. I ordered the Orange Chicken with white rice and my husband had the combination General Tso's. The Orange Chicken was supposed to be spicy. It wasn't. Either they forgot to put the rice in my order or they don't actually put more than a grain or two in it. Not sure which, just know there was no rice. My husband kept saying "it lacks flavor." I would agree. I had enough left over for the next day, but opted to throw it out instead of eat it. Very disappointed. Given that we choose a restaurant based on their food quality/taste and not on their service or lovely fish tank, we won't be going back. Just drive a little further West on State Rd. 7 and head into Garrett to have much better Chinese food at Chef Peng's.

I had an enjoyable dining experience at this restaurant…read more For one, the food was terrific, and the menu was pretty extensive. I know I walked out of there extremely full, knowing I would return. However, the best part of the evening? It was undoubtedly the service that I received from my server. A mom of several kids, we talked about the challenges of balancing school and activity schedules with work hours required by her employer. In particular, we discussed one of her daughters, who is apparently an avid golfer despite the responsibilities of tending to her other tables. And she handled that with a smile and with grace. As I was in Ft. Wayne on a golf-related matter, I keyed in on this part of the conversation. Again, it was extremely friendly to meet someone so pleasant. Back to the food - again, it was excellent. And I will be honest, I ate more than I should have! The restaurant is in a small strip mall, but it is well-maintained at the time of my visit. For photos, I suggest that you Google the restaurant - there is an extensive selection. This also applies to the menu. Many, many choices, and they all look great.

The sushi is fantastic. The Thai food, not so much. Just stick with the sushi here…read more The service is good, and the place is beautiful. It's a good date night spot. Thai Tea - $ 3 - This wasn't very good. It didn't really taste like Thai Tea. 0/5 stars. Spring Roll - $7 - This we got I think on a Wednesday night, because if you spent so much money you get a free spring roll appetizer. It was ok, but I wouldn't have paid money for it. 3/5 stars. Vegetables and Tofu $14, Chicken $16, Beef $17, and Shrimp $18 We had the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Pad See-Ew. The Pad Thai had the best flavor, and then the Pad See-Ew, and I really can't recommend the Drunken Noodles. We got the Drunken Noodles medium spicy and the other two mild, but I couldn't taste any spice in them. I really wouldn't recommend getting the noodles here, but if you had to pick one, get the Pad Thai. Now for the good part, the sushi! Now, I was planning on trying everything and just making a giant list of what's so good, but I apologize, there's so many good ones that I just forgot my nit picking on certain rolls. You really can't go wrong with any of the rolls. I haven't had a bad one yet. I'm going to list all the rolls I've had, but really, just pick your favorite fish and I'm sure it'll be good. Nori Angel Hiroshima Kobe Black Panther Moon Fire - This is fun show, and it gives a yummy fire taste. Dupont Red Dragon White Dragon Nagasaki American Dream Hamachi Fiesta Indiana Beach Fresh, fried, doesn't matter, all of them are good. They give you soy sauce, but you really don't need it with any of the rolls. Tempura Cheesecake - $8 - This was fantastic. This was free for my birthday lunch, and I was so happy with this. I'd pay money for this. 5/5 stars. Go here for the sushi and the Tempura Cheesecake! We stuff ourselves with so much sushi that we don't leave room for dessert, but I really should get that cheesecake again. Go here!
