    Chicken 65 and samosa chat!
    Sameera B.

I was surprised to find a paradise biryani place in Norwalk but was super excited to try it! I tried their chicken biryani and omg it was amazingggggg! The only thing is even their medium spicy was really really spicy! So if you are someone who can't tolerate spicy food, make sure to tell them no spicy or very mild! Their chicken 65 was nothing like how Hyderabadi chicken 65 is suppose to be but it was still good. Should be called chicken tikka or chicken masala instead! Their butter naans were super fresh and yummy! Try their chai ..it was delicious! Samosa chat was also good with full of flavor! Overall I would definitely return this place for their biryani and chai :)

So slow service here, old bathrooms and cold dining. Food was okay, korma was top notch and allo gobi is also not bad. Samosa and Gobi manchuri both were terrible. Chai tea was delicious and the lady was lovely. Very slow ooh gods the service is bad here, they need people on floor.

Biryani ' flop ' . No spice or flover .

Our order for dinner. Ginger chicken, garlic naan, goat biryani. Biryani-- not spicy at all. Rather we asked for spicy biryani. Its like plan ' yellow basmati rice' with some meat mixed with gee for aroma . Salan -was more of peanuts smell . Raitha - its good . Totally biryani is like gee rice . Flop Ginger chicken- awesome taste , well balanced everything. But quantity is vry less for 15.99$ a dish . Garlic naan - vry good . well done . Remarks- no salt and pepper on tables . quantitys are vry less for there prices.

Goat Sukka ... Go for medium spicy

I give 4 stars just for the food... The ambience is very normal notthing fancy about it , but the food will make u ignore that. I have eaten here multiple times and I must say , they are consistent in delivering the good tasty food. I am a die hard fan of Goat Sukka here , a goat appetizer. The other items on the list are pretty good . I have had chicken briyani , that too was very good. The quantity is serving is quite a lot for one to finish . Everything was fresh and the staff was also courteous . I would definetely recommend to try this if you like Indian food .

    Amazing chicken tikka masala

Since my last review, I have visited a handful of times, and I now have a new appreciation for Paradise Biryani, beyond the chicken tikka masala, which is still excellent. You much try their Gobi 65, a fried cauliflower dish to die for. Similar to a general Tso's chicken, this cauliflower dish puts those to shame - it is lighter, but still packed with flavor. Their spicy, yet delicious Biryani is also worth the trip for. All in all, these dishes make for an excellent experience, each time.

Really good Indian food. Dining in is ok too, but largely a takeout option. Never had a bad meal here.

My husband and I both got tikka masala dishes. He got chicken and I got the shrimp. In hindsight I wish I had tried the Saag just so we could have tasted a different sauce. However, the tikka masala was truly the best we've ever had. And we are always chasing excellent food so we've had our share. The dumplings were great but we would likely opt for a different appetizer as they didn't really blow us away. The service though is really what puts this place over the top. We were in a bit of a time crunch so I'm disappointed we couldn't stay longer and try dessert so we will definitely be back when we can make it down to SoNo again.

For food, I started with the lentil soup and dumpling (momo) combo. The lentil soup was decent, but the momos were a bit disappointing. They lacked the flavor and juiciness I was expecting, and didn't really stand out. I also tried the chicken curry, which was okay--nothing particularly memorable, but not bad either. One thing I noticed is that the menu and flavors felt more similar to Indian cuisine than authentic Nepalese food. While that's not necessarily a bad thing, it didn't quite deliver the distinct experience I was hoping for. Overall, it's a nice place in terms of atmosphere and service, but the food didn't fully impress me.

We have eaten here before, and on every occasion we were very happy with the food, but on this latest visit after the management change, it was not good. The appetizers were good, not spectacular, but good, the naan was par (but you really need to work hard to screw up naan), but the main courses were really not good especially when you consider the price. My girlfriend had Chicken Tikka Masala, and while the taste was ok, there were a whopping 5 pieces of Chicken in it - at $20. I got the 1/2 Tandoori chicken. 1 - there was very little Tandoori paste on the chicken. 2 - the outside was not seared as it should be for Tandoori chicken. 3 - their idea of a 1/2 chicken was 2 leg / thigh combos, and small ones at that. Again - for $20. The only thing they have going for them is that the staff is very nice and attentive. Otherwise, they will seriously need to end the attempt to cut corners and do a much better job if they want to survive. We will not be back.
