It seems they have improved! The last couple of times I went here, the bread was excellent. Fresh, soft and not greasy at all. I hope it stays that way, otherwise I'll have to write yet another update. It is a very quiet spot, and as someone that eats alone frequently, a TV would be a fantastic upgrade. Wifi would be welcome too for us that work.

Chicken tikka masala, bismati rice, vegetable/minced meat samosas.

Went here with the wife to grab some lunch because we were craving Indian food. Long story short: great variety, reasonably priced and authentic Indian food that you can customize to your taste. To start with, the establishment is small. It is more of a delivery/takeout place that has a few tables if you want to quickly sit down and eat. We ordered veggie samosas and minced meat samosas to start. Both were perfectly crispy and spiced just right. We added a chicken tikka masala (hot) to share, along with an order of garlic naan. The garlic naan was phenomenal: perfectly fluffy with a great balance of garlic. The chicken tikka masala was great. After reading reviews warning about the bland "mild" spice option, I feel the "hot" was a good way to go. I thought it was the perfectly balanced spice option, however the wife thought it was a tad bit hot but still enjoyed it. If you are looking for a no-frills Indian spot that is easy-in/easy-out, then this is the spot for you. They also offer $7 lunch deals M-F, so I've heard it can get quite busy but is worth. We will definitely be back soon to grab one of those.

Their menu. Note the $6.99 lunch !

Not bad, but not are good as other curried I've had. I ordered my meal for pick up, it was ready when promised.

Overpriced, bland good. Order came out to $16 which was 90% rice. If you are looking for good indian food, this is not the place to go

The Vindaloo here is very, very good, as are their other spicy creations. The owners are very nice, as well, and the na'an bread is great.

The waitress was so sweet and hospitable. Oh boy were we prepared to be wow'd! We noticed signs on the table showcasing they offer FRESH young coconuts. We could not resist! It was chilled and so refreshing and satisfied our thirst. The coconut water was unlike any other coconut water I've tasted not even boxed coconut water which I know is not true coconut water, but close enough. I had a feeling she would confirm they were sourced from Thailand. We decided to order papaya salad (Must have at every Thai restaurant) w/prawns, Spicy eggplant w/beef, Khao Soi w/beef, and HOMEMEAD COCONUT ICE CREAM! The papaya salad was the best we've had! It was so delicious the juice from it was drinkable. We dont usually include the papya salad with prawns but decided to give it a try based on the waitress suggestion. The Spicy eggplant with beef was so delicious and had a nice sauce and was accompanied with rice. The Khao Soi was unlike any dish we've had at any Thai restaurant. It had a sweet, sour, and umami flavor with hard noodles and cooked in this curry sauce. (Im salivating thinking about it). We shared our dishes and were very full. We noticed they had a dessert we wanted to try but we knew there was no room and planned to return. The waitress asked if we wanted to try the coconut ice cream and we shared it and OMG it was out of this world delicious. It was so light, fresh, the bites of coconut melted in your mouth. It is better than ANY store brought coconut ice cream. Im 100% sure they use the coconut meat and water to make their homemade coconut ice cream. This is our new favorite Thai restaurant! Thank you for your amazing customer service and sharing your home cooking with us. It always makes me want to go back to an establishment when I am treated really well. P.s. You know the food is good when you don't take time to take the pictures

It was our first time, and we were looking forward to some good Thai food. I assume Kay was in the kitchen, and she was preparing orders back to back. The food did not come out at the same time, but this was understandable with one cook. I loved the fact that you can choose your spiciness and mild hot is not hot at all. So next time we can take it up a notch or two. The Pad Mama Tom Yum was great. I had the seafood as protein and the only downside was the little pieces of shell. I had to chew carefully, just in case. Overall a great menu, and tasty food.

When I found out that China Wok was now called New China Wok, I decided to get a meal here for old time's sake. There isn't much to look at inside; there's a few tables, but it's still mainly a hole in the wall takeout spot. The front desk person was kind and diligent and I got my meal quickly. The food was mostly good, but I was a little disappointed. I decided to get the first meal I ever ordered from this place: the General Tso's Chicken combo, which comes with roast pork fried rice and a roast pork egg roll. A couple of broccoli crowns separate the chicken from the rice. The General Tso's sauce was just as delicious as I remember; very savory and a little spicy. Texture of the chicken and breading were very nice as well. Their roast pork fried rice is a customer favorite and it was still delicious. The flavor from the roast pork permeates all of the rice and pairs perfectly with the chicken. The egg roll was crispy and savory and there wasn't any excess grease. It tastes great by itself, with duck sauce or with the General Tso's sauce. Unfortunately, then I tried the vegetable lo mein. They used to make great lo mein, but the sauce wasn't the same this time. The noodles and vegetables were fine, but the more I ate, the less I liked it. This tasted barely average. Since I wasn't enjoying it much, I decided not to finish it, since it wasn't worth the sodium. After I finished eating, I decided to compare the new menu with a copy of the old menu I still had. Some of their best dishes are no longer available. Where's the Chow Sam Din? Where's the Twice Cooked Pork? Others were missing as well. The two dishes I mentioned were among my favorites. I think they should bring them back if they still have the recipes. I would stay away from the lo mein, but I enjoyed everything else. Still very good food overall, especially for the price, however LC Chen's isn't far away and they are more expensive, but superior.

The egg rolls were good. The boneless spareribs were chewy and probably reheated.. The shrimp and lobster sauce was my highlight. Flavorful, large well cooked shrimp, and generous amount of shrimp. However, the lobster sauce was more of a thin lobster soup. This could be a great dish. Lastly the house special lo mein was a little disappointing. The flavor was good, but the noodles were overcooked and cut into pieces. It was odd to me, but it was as though each Long noodle was cut into thirds. I do think this restaurant has great potential, but overall, I can only rate it a three.
