Consistently great! I've tried Pappasito's in several cites and this is my favorite so far. Nick was our server and he was great! The food came out quickly ams was very delicious. I can't pick a favorite item because every dish was so good. The drinks were STRONG and a great value for the price.

Food was superb! The group had an amazing experience dining in to celebrate a birthday!!! I ordered this because I never had quail before and I'm glad I did! Steak was delicious and tender. Quail reminded me of duck but more flavorful. The shrimp were HUGE! An absolutely delicious meal. Our server was great and a lot of fun. The margarita machine went down and we had to wait a bit for our drinks but the manager comped our apps which was a really great way to keep the experience a pleasant one! A big name WNBA player, Brittney Griner, was there so I knew the food would be good if she was dining there with a large group!

Amazing Tex mex. Sat at the bar. Take it from me, the small margaritas are HUMONGOUS. And stiff. Got the shrimp fajitas, so delicious. The place is huge! Prices are a bit high but you get a ton of food! I was in town for three days and I went two nights straight. It was that good. Highly recommend!

Pappasitos is my absolute favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in the Houston area. I've got to be honest I don't think I've ever ordered anything other than the beef and chicken fajitas because they are perfection. The sizzling cast iron, tender meats and garlic butter are amazing. The corn chips are very thin and salty. I always try a new drink and the Paloma style frozen margarita was a delicious new addition to the menu. The wait can sometimes be long at peak hours but it's definitely worth it.

Always a great experience! The service is always super friendly. The atmosphere is generic, but you always know where you are. In a happy place. They have the best queso. My husband always gets the Del Mar, the pictures speak for themselves. I usually get cheese enchiladas, but they added potato taquitos to the menu! So good! They come nestled in cabbage and deliciousness. Get them, they need to stay on the menu.

I can't lie! I was pleasantly surprised by Pappasito's! Rushing to grab some food before going to the airport and it didn't disappoint! Good as hell! Traditional Tex Mex design and layout, so nothing special there. The staff and food was on point though. I had the Seafood Enchiladas and they hit the spot! Glad to say no stomach problems on the plane/flight either, so they really get two thumbs up lol.

Glad I made a reservation because folks coming in later has a 45 minute wait for lunch. I mean even with a reservation I had to wait 15 minutes. Place was definitely getting busy around 11:30 am on a weekday with work folks coming in. Security in the parking lot even during day. Those parking stall lines definitely seem tight. Lots of trucks making it difficult to get out from my door. Our waiter was fantastic even though my dad later complained to me that he never refilled my dad's coke. But for me and my kid the drinks kept coming even when I was only half done with my current one. The queso with ixtapa beef was awesome as was the guacamole fresco (which comes with its own specially made chips and huge chunks of guacamole). I was a little disappointed with the birra tacos as I thought they'd be deep fried in their tortillas. It's more like a stew with big chunks of meat and a side of tortillas that you assemble yourself. The lunch burrito never disappoints and my kid was happy with the kids size beef fajita quesadilla. For desert we got the fried ice cream which is four scoops of ice cream rolled in nuts and other stuff. Not really deep fried but who cares. It was delicious. Will definitely head back when I can save up for it. There is a dress code posted outside which amazingly includes to my surprise no tank tops. This is Houston in July!

Happy Cinco De Mayo! Met the ladies here to celebrate, & break bread…read more Thank you Jamila for selecting this original location of the Original Ninfas, to host, (our last supper, before your relocation from Houston to Florida.). A place I grew up in as a little girl in Beaumont but never have I've visit this "original" location. Stepping in to this spot felt like a restaurant in the country of Mexico. I ordered the El Henry. I absolutely loved my dish, only thing I would've chance was the cheese enchilada definitely would've swap for a chicken or beef one, or maybe even a flaunta. I really like the Mexican rice, it had little potatoes and carrots in it. Some of the best Mexican yellow rice I've had. They offer a cinco de mayo drink special. The only thing that seem to make it special was the drinks apparently were limited edition menu items. Nothing was special about the prices. The regular menu drinks were a dollar(s) less. The margarita I ordered first was peach coconut. I didn't taste the coconut at all. I swap for the peach strawberry ($14 or 15) which was great, sweet& strong. One did me just right. You get to select up to two flavors for additional $2 (for both verse each, that's a plus. Not worded on menu). If you select a third flavor an additional $2 would be added ($4 in total) I appreciate separate tickets provided after confirmation and no additional gratuity automatically added, which he got tip equally the same or more. When asked about the "empty" patio that was available, he informed us that the entire deck was reserved. Upon departing I noticed from the parking lot individual tables, of separate parties were occupying only 3 tables. It was 8 of us sitting at 2 tables. Which the table was pushed up against the wall, and one side was inaccessible, which took away spacing. Service was lovely space was really tight. Good thing some of the ladies didn't order full meals. Definitely wouldn't have been able to fit every plate.

While waiting for a table to open, we've watched the two women team making and grilling fresh tortillas. With expert precision, they made hundreds of tortillas as we watched. Our server was efficient took our our order and in a few minutes, we had sizzling fajitas at the table....With all of the anticipated queso, chips, salsa, and condiments for our fajitas. The flavor of our steak fajitas was excellent, after dinner Ninfa's offers a free shuttle bus to the baseball park. They drop you off and pick you up after the game. Unfortunately, Houston did not win, but we thoroughly enjoyed the meal before the game. If you're looking for traditional Mexican dinner, do not miss Ninfa's.

Upon walking in the restaurant was clean it was pretty packed for a Wednesday night but the aroma of the food! OMG! Our server was really nice and patient because my friend and I talked for about 30 minutes before we finally ordered our food. He has the beef enchiladas with rice and black beans. He cleaned his plate...literally not a grain of rice in sight! I had the smoked chicken verde enchiladas and WOW! What an amazing dish. I will definitely be back to visit when I return!

Glowing red. Burning. Candente…read more Let me start by saying that I'm not into Mexican food unless it's an auntie or grandma making it at their house. I prefer traditional homemade Mexican food but here we are. (Oh I googled and suggested this place lol) Went in for a team lunch on a Friday. Coworker's birthday lunch and she wanted Mexican. Party of 9 and we were seated promptly. They have a lunch menu and a happy hour as well as a full menu and full bar. The interior was nicely decorated. And open. There is bar seating and patio seating as well. Our waitress was Aisha and she was amazing. Friendly, helpful and patient. And able handle our large group and a few more tables with a smile. There were a variety of options. Salads, fajitas, nachos, enchiladas, etc. Also complimentary chips and salsa. My Order: chicken tortilla soup, lunch fajitas combo - chicken and beef. Chicken tortilla soup (3.5/5) - it was a bit salty for me but I am not a salt person so most things are salty to me; everyone else said it was tasty, there were tons of shredded chicken, avocado pieces, tortilla strips Fajitas - combo (4/5) - chicken was seasoned well and the beef (medium rare) was perfection and so tender and juicy, mexican rice was fluffy, and normally I would pass on the beans and get extra rice but my coworker suggested the charro beans and wow, that was a win - the seasoning was great, there were chunks of meat and the texture was nice, the only thing that could have been done better is the flour tortillas - they over-charred them making them too crispy and left them with a burnt taste. A couple of people got the elote salad and raved about it. So that will be a next time try. Def will be back. Everyone enjoyed their meals and some even ordered food to go. Would recommend.

Parking can be challenging on weekends, but there is complimentary valet and a few extra spots in a lot across the street. There's interior and exterior seating, with cozy booths and tables. Service is friendly. Chips and salsa: Superica has some of my favorite chips, crispy and thin and perfectly fried. The avocado crema salsa and warm serrano pepper salsas are delicious with a mild kick. The bottled red salsa is fresh and green salsa packs a nice punch. Migas: Scrambled eggs with tortilla chips and cheese, choice of chicken versus chorizo on top, finished with fresh avocado. I really enjoyed this combination and the generous portion for the price. The eggs are well scrambled without being dry, and the pairing with cheese is proportional. The chicken was a touch dry, but some salsa solved that well. I enjoyed stuffing each component into a fresh tortilla and devouring it as a breakfast taco. Refried beans and rice: Really delicious. The refried beans are of the smoother variety without as much chunkiness, which I prefer, and topped with creamy cheese. I could have used a touch more tomato in the rice, but overall enjoyed the texture and flavor. Patatas with salsa roja, topped with egg: I enjoyed the flavors in this dish, but there was sooo much salsa. The potatoes were thus a little soggy, though still cooked well. The over medium egg was cooked nicely and complemented the potatoes with creamy yolk. Bacon: Really generous portion for $7 as a side, and cooked well. Crispy potatoes: I enjoy that these are fingerling potatoes smashed and roasted, but they could be crispier. They seem to be on the blander side on purpose to allow seasoning to taste, and I really like pairing them with the red bottled salsa provided at each table (probably due to their association with ketchup). Hotcakes: The literal star of every brunch, these hotcakes are consistently delicious. They're massive yet somehow cooked perfectly through so that they're fluffy and soft on the inside and just with a slight crunch on the outside. The pairing of the creamy warm (!!!) maple syrup is heavenly. Because of how huge these are, usually one is enough to share between two people, although they also come in stacks of two and three. For reference, we finished 3/4 of three between four healthy and hungry people and it wasn't for lack of trying. Whenever I crave weekend brunch, Superica is always a top option.
