Visited today with my family, sat immediately and greeted by Our waiter, Colin. He started out apologizing that he had to have surgery to remove wisdom teeth and was still a little under the weather but wanted to come in to work and took our order. My husband asked for cocktail sauce with our bread and butter cuz I'm a weirdo and like that with my bread. He brought our drinks bread butter sauce and took our order. Planned a Milestone birthday party here weeks in advance , July 23rd, with a party of 10. Friends and relatives drove from all over to come to this location. Only to be served cold food, not once, not twice but three times. They even brought some of the same plates they took back into the kitchen back to us that they had tried to reheat (yes cross contamination). The birthday was ruined. The best thing my party and I are that day was the bread and the cake that was brought in from an outside vendor for the birthday. I placed several calls to corporate, to the store location twice and nothing was ever rectified. I will never return to this location and would not recommend to my worst enemy. Even after speaking with two managers, no one ever sent anything to me, not even an apology, I wasn't compensated for my party, I literally was in tears at the table. Never again read more

This is one of my Favorite spots to go for special occasions or date nights. Ever since Covid however, some of our favorites are gone from the menu. Other neighboring seafood restaurants have all their oyster dishes back. We miss the oysters pappadeaux and are disappointed everytime we visit that it's still not available. Haven't been to this Pappadeaux's for awhile and we had gift cards to use up so we did. Sunday at 12:30 and not many people there, we were promtly seated and our waitress introduced herself. She asked if we cared for bread and butter and brought it to us. Hubs started with a Caesar Salad. Yes, don't even go there..he then, had the nerve to tell me I could have the rest...because he didn't care for it. I reminded him Pappadeaux's is known for a signature salad and next time should probably stick to that. Hubs ordered some grilled fish which was huge and served topped with grilled shrimp which looked really beautiful served with Butternut Squash w/Hazelnuts. I started with a cup of seafood gumbo. I removed all of the celery and the tomato (NOT IN GUMBO) had a bite and gave to hubs. I have to remember I don't care for their gumbo or Uncle Ben's type of rice. Native Texas, grew up in Louisiana among some of the best chefs anywhere, well just kinda spoils a girl..My entree was two fried Soft Shelled Crabs served cold. I also had the Butternut Squash with Hazelnuts. The Soft Shell Crabs I really should of sent back upon the first bite. They had no seasoning, no flavor...I was just OK UNTIL, I got to a few parts that hadn't been cleaned and it had such a horrid taste. I ate around one and put the other with my hub's fish and leftover Squash. He took the leftovers for lunch today, but he didn't eat the crab. I imagine, he didn't eat it because of the same issue I experienced. We shared the Trio of Desserts, Creme Brulee, Sweet Potato Pecan Pie with Ice Cream and a Banana Pudding.. I wish Bread Pudding would have replaced the Banana Pudding because the Trio would have been a great ending to a mediocre meal. It was the best part of the meal. read more

The food I thought was excellent. $24 Personally I thought taking on an additional $1 for cheddar cheese for the fajitas was wrong. See pic. The service I thought was just fair. Pappadeaux is always a place I bring friends and family when they visit. Their crab cake is to DIE for. Big chunks of crab and that amazing sauce that goes with it is heaven on a plate. The fondue is a go to as well if you love creamy yummy seafood. Drinks are great as well here but we always come for the food! Fish is always cooked perfectly and you can never go wrong with that. Service is spectacular and I truly look forward to coming here every time, even if it's just for an appetizer and drink at the bar. read more

Pappadeaux is one of my favorite places to eat. Recently I went for a meeting at work and the menu was limited to 3 items. The fried seafood entree, salmon and a chicken dish were the main options for our meal. Normally I go for lobster bisque or crawfish etoufee, so I wasn't really sure what to pick. I ended up getting the friend seafood entree that consisted of several pieces of fried fish, fried shrimp and fried crawfish. Their cocktail sauce is my favorite because you can taste the strong horseradish flavor and it gives the food a nice kick. The plate was SO full.It was so tasty and we also had their amazing Greek salad with a choice of dessert. I had the creme brûlée, which is my favorite, but they never brought it to me. This was the only downside from my most recent visit. Other times I like to get their Oysters Rockerfeller (the best!) and also the raw oysters. I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you've never been. You're definitely always going to have left overs since the meals are so much food! read more

My boyfriend and I decided to go for a really nice date night 7/27, we started with the alligator bites and they were amazing!! My boyfriend had the red snapper and that was phenomenal! The only "but" to the night was my crawfish etouffee, as soon as our waitress set it down the smell was off but gave it the benefit of the doubt. To say the least, the crawfish tails had the "been frozen" texture and my rice was over cooked/mushy, just two things you would never expect from such a nice/ expensive restaurant. We came here today, Friday, July 29, 2022. Obviously going to be busy on a Friday night. We got here around 7pm and we're immediately seated. Party of four. Two adults and two small kids (3 &5 yr old hungry boys). We were pleasantly greeted by our waiter named Meek. He was helpful, professional, personable and FAST! We ordered two drinks from the bar, drinks for the kids and an appetizer that wasn't even on the menu. Order the crab fingers *chefs kiss.* We also got the ridiculously good LOAF of bread after the fingers came out. Food was out shortly after. Husband got Crawfish étouffée, I got Mahu Alexander and both kids got fried shrimp and chicken. EVERYTHING was so F***ing good!!! I couldn't even pick, so I asked Meek what his favorite was. Let me say again how well our waiter was...Multiple times he came and made sure we were taken care of. On. A. Friday. Night. The restaurant was literally packed! We had a couple with their little girl come in after we had our food with a HAPPY MEAL and MOVED tables after being seated to our section....I already knew they would be an issue they were rude, inconsiderate and angry...at what...not sure...maybe McDonald's forgot the nugget sauce for their kid.... I live in Massachusetts which has an abundance of seafood restaurants, but none can compare to Pappadeaux's Seafood Kitchen. I've dined at Pappadeaux's in Houston, Dallas and Denver. My latest visit was to the Woodlands TX location. I met my brother and sister-in-law for happy hour drinks and appetizers, we sat at the bar. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. We had the catfish beignets, oysters on the half-shell, peel and eat shrimp, cup of gumbo and side salads. The gumbo was delicious with warm French bread, oysters were fresh, and catfish meat was flakey and fried to a crispy brown crust. Salad was refreshing when paired with house-made Greek dressing. HH drinks were a great deal. Pappadeaux's was celebrating 30 year anniversary and the special on Thursday's was 2 1lb Maine lobsters with side items for $29. I've been to Maine many times and Pappadeaux's $29 lobster meal could not be beat. read more
