My Bestie & I went on a Friday at 11:30. We were celebrating a retirement. Peter was our waiter & phenomenal! The guy who brought the flight was so nice & funny, forgot his name. Got a flight on the Margaritas with Strawberry instead of Grapefruit & you talk about fresh & so delicious! The meal was good but wished I had ordered a different meal. One was recommended & it was just "okay". Always pricey too. But, those drinks .... Trea Leches was a dessert we ordered was very good but not as good as Gringo's or Goode & Co.'s! Sorry Pappasitos. We always go back tho & pay those prices! SMH.

Best shrimp cocktail we've had in a Mexican restaurant. Combination fajitas were also exceptional and the margarita was outstanding.

Awesome food and environment was laid back. There was live music and lots of people, they have both indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoyed our evening very much!

I know its a large chain but they do have some of the best fajitas out there. The pork fajita was the best. We got the family fajita dinner with pork beef and chicken. The first place where the chicken fajita wasn't overly processed and was very juicy. The stuffed shrimp crab cakes were to die for. They were so good I went home and recreated them. The service was a little frustrating bc we made reservations but was overlooked until I said something. The atmosphere is relaxed and open. Overall we will go often when want fajitas.

10/5/25 6:45 pm The place looked a little busy for a Sunday night but since it was breezy as we walked to the entrance doors we agreed to first available. We were seated on the patio the far back right side table, across from the server station. We had our first, two month old grandbaby visiting from Denver. There were no fans near us and no breeze thanks to the unneccesary brick walls next to us. Needless to say we were sweating before we ordered. Worst dining experience ever. We were embarrassed that we bragged about this place to our son in law as it was his first time ever. We complained when we got our check and the waiter suggested we provide feedback to a manager. The manager came over to which my husband attempted to explain our horrible experience. Manager didnt even let my husband finish speaking when he began to explain the reason for the poor air circulation. We already knew that, we were sitting in it. This is obviously a complaint they've received before. Manager didnt offer an apology, a discount, or a gift card for a future visit. The only thing he gave us were poor excuses and that he hoped we come back when my daughter returns for Thanksgiving. I am very disappointed in the way our concerns were handled.

Always a winning formula to take visitors to Houston! Start with tasty Ranch Waters or Margaritas! Service is always friendly and prompt, even when super crowded. We like the fajita platter with add ons like shrimp or ribs. Vibe is a well run corporate restaurant with generally enthusiastic staff.

Fantastic drinks! The drinks here are the best! No matter what we order from the bar we're always pleased. The fruit is fresh, the presentation is consistent and the drinks are strong. We are always met when a warm welcome, and the servers are all great. They thoroughly answer questions and make spot on recommendations.

For our party of 10, including 4 children, we were seated in short order for our request to sit outside. All the hostesses were sweet and polite. Our waiter, Charles, did a great job with service to the kids and adults! We always enjoy the outside area especially since the weather was perfect. As usual, the food was delicious and plentiful. Trying not to fill up on chips and salsa is also a challenge! One suggestion: have the hostesses bring menus for adults like they do for children. This will be more efficient for service in general and allow customers to begin looking for food and drinks. We will certainly be back to enjoy Pappasito's' food, service and ambience! Thanks!!

I normally do not come to Pappasito's but everyone around me likes it. It's just the smell of those greasy chips when you walk through the door always grosses me out, but I have to admit the food is very very good and their Tres Leches is amazing so I put the smell of the chips aside to enjoy the good food and the place that everyone loves. I came here for Sunday evening dinner with friends and we just had impeccable service. This gentleman Jared/Jerrod, I think his name was was, a whole new level of service. Even one of the kids at the table said he was so professional. Why is he a waiter here? I had to ask the same thing. Just small things like him presenting the first tortilla of dinner to me for my meal. I've never experienced that before. I've never been asked that. Just how he handled everyone at the table his demeanor-mannerism was just outstanding. He should be the manager there. But nothing I ate disappointed, and I will always highly recommend that that tres leches. The fajitas were amazing and please order the butter to dip it in. Apparently I had no idea what that was until someone else ordered it and it just gives it an enhanced taste.

It was our first time dining here, and the moment we walked in, we already knew we'd love the vibe. The ambiance is warm and inviting--every corner of the place feels thoughtfully put together. Our server immediately picked up on the fact that we were new and took the time to walk us through the menu in detail, making sure we understood what each dish came with. Even though we arrived right in the middle of the Friday lunch rush, the service was still top-notch. Special shoutout to Brent for taking such great care of us--friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Also... who's running this place? Because whatever they're doing, it's working. The staff all seemed happy to be there--no one looked stressed, rushed, or stingy with anything. That kind of energy makes a big difference. Bonus points for the complimentary chips and salsa Heads up: the salsa has a nice little kick to it.

Pork ribs! The best!

Pappasitos is so consistent with their food and service, it almost goes without saying how good they are! Great service and food every time. The patio in The Woodlands location is so beautiful! Today was an absolute perfect weather day for it too. If you've never tried the ribs, you must. I'll be honest, we are typically fajita folks, but these are the best you will ever eat! You can try others, but I promise you... they win! The outside is carmelized on top of the best smoked seasoning you will ever taste. Best ribs in the city... hands down! 5 stars!!

Ground Beef Taco

My husband and I went in for a quick lunch today and the food was great. We both got tacos and were shocked at the size of them. The tacos had lots of meat in them unlike some places in the area! Noah was our waiter and he did a great job making sure our drinks stayed full and we had everything we needed. Then outdoor patio is great and very comfortable on a warm spring day.

Pappasitos is my favorite restaurant! The beef and chicken fajitas are an absolute must order plated on a sizzling cast iron served with garlic butter, guacamole, and pico de gallo. The best topping is to add the Queso dip onto your fajita. Once a year my now 91 year old grandma visits from Chicago and the first stop she always requests is Pappasitos, especially to get a frozen strawberry margarita. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There can be a long wait on evenings or weekends but it is well worth the wait. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner in one of the party rooms and the event coordinator was efficient and easy to work with. Definitely a 10/10 recommendation for anyone in the area.

Fabulous Fajitas Wednesday!
Steve D.

Fabulous food as ever. My friend and I came for the Special Fajitas Wednesday after 4pm. We had the beef and chicken fajitas with grilled onions, guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, grated cheese and an additional order of 4 Diablo shrimp. The meal also came with charro beans and rice. And a complimentary bowl of queso, and of course salsa and chips. Delicious! Our server, Itziana was fantastic. The ambience, as always, great at Pappasito's.

When I arrived, it was not busy at all, so I walked right in and met her at the bar. She had already ordered our drinks, which I appreciated. She got the Purple Voodoo. Even though it is no longer on the menu, they still made it for her, and she said it tasted the same. I ordered my usual Long Island iced tea, and listen, that thing was made to perfection. Not too sweet, not too dark, just the right balance. Whoever made it knew exactly what they were doing. The ambiance was really nice. It was calm with low lighting and good music playing in the background. It was not too loud, just enough to set the mood without interrupting conversation. It was not crowded, but there were a few people in there enjoying dinner and drinks. It made for a really laid back, after work, midweek dinner vibe. For food, she ordered the blackened catfish with red beans and rice, and I went with fried shrimp, a baked potato, and a Caesar salad. The food came out pretty quickly. Now let's talk about the food. The Caesar salad was amazing. It was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together. I asked for extra croutons and extra dressing, and while I did not need the extra dressing, I definitely needed those croutons. That salad alone could have been my whole meal with some grilled shrimp or salmon added. The baked potato was really good. It was large, filling, and loaded with butter and cheese. My only critique is that the cheese was not melted. It was more like layered on top in ribbons. If they had warmed it just a bit to melt the cheese, it would have taken it up another level visually and in texture. Now the shrimp. It looked good, but it did not deliver. The breading did not do it for me, and it tasted pretty bland, like it was missing seasoning. Especially compared to how well seasoned and perfectly blackened my friend's catfish looked, the shrimp just did not measure up. That was definitely the miss of the meal for me. I did not taste the catfish, but it looked incredible. It was beautifully plated and a generous portion. My friend ate more than half and took the rest home, which says a lot. Service was exceptional. Attentive, friendly, and smooth from start to finish. Overall, I would give it an 8.5 out of 10. The drinks, service, ambiance, and that Caesar salad carried the experience, but I would skip the shrimp next time.

Been awhile since we ate here but we were hungry after a morning doing some medical tests over at…read morethe hospital. We sat at the bar, always easier than waiting for a table and the busy service staff in the dining area. Our server at the bar greeted us and took a basic drink order to start. After he brought it, we looked at the menu and decided on some alcoholic drinks and an appetizer. But it took a bit to get our server's attention, he was buy wiping down the other end of the bar area. We finally ordered and it didn't take long to come out. The calamari was good and they add in small bits of fried octopus which was tasty and tender. Our lunch soon came out, I had the grilled oyster appetizer and a house salad with what he said was an Italian creamy vinaigrette. For me, the oysters were way over seasoned, perhaps salt and spices and were a bit over done, like they left them under the broiler too long. I was glad there were only 6 since they weren't really good. My salad came loaded with stuff, should have asked but I figured a house salad would be lettuce and maybe some other field greens, tomato, a cucumber and dressing. But this was loaded with bacon (which I don't eat at all) cheese, onions and huge croutons. I scraped all that stuff of to the salad part and took one bite and found the dressing so sweet as if it had a ton of sugar. I let our server know and asked for a salad without all the stuff on top and jus oil and vinegar. My wife had the fried shrimp platter which was quite good but OMG, there must have been a pound of French fries on the plate. She couldn't finish all the shrimp so I added it to my salad! Overall, we both agreed that maybe it's because we don't eat out a lot and do most of our cooking at home, but the food was in general over seasoned, even too salty and my wife almost always adds salt to what she serves herself at home. Restaurants have all had to increase prices since the pandemic, our lunch ended up being just over $100 before tip, guess we won't be dining out too soon.

The food and service were outstanding. They were out of doner when we arrived, but honestly, everything else we tried more than made up for it. Within about 10 minutes, the restaurant was pretty packed, so we clearly just arrived at the perfect time. We started with a bread basket served with fresh breads and an incredible tomato oil--simple, bold, and completely addictive. We had falafel with a creamy sauce (possibly yogurt or garlic-based) and stuffed grape leaves with olive oil, both beautifully done. Every dish came with fresh lettuce, lemon, thinly sliced onions that had clearly been soaked to remove the harsh bite, and a bright pickled cabbage that tied everything together perfectly. We also had lahmacun, which was deeply flavorful and incredibly satisfying. We were treated to complimentary Turkish tea and a meatless dish on the house, and I have to say--if you don't eat meat, you are not missing out on flavor at all. I grew up a meat eater, so I was genuinely surprised by how rich and delicious it was. I only wish I remembered the name so I could order it again. And then dessert... kunefe. Crispy shredded pastry, warm cheese, pistachios--easily one of the top 10 dishes I've ever eaten in my life. I usually hate mint in food, but two of the dishes included it and completely changed my mind--fresh, balanced, and done right. This place is a true hidden gem and one of my favorite dining experiences. I will absolutely be back, even if it's out of the way. Highly recommend.

I drooled over the beauty of the water pitcher. They sold some of their Turkish coffee cups and tea cups along with other goods. It is located in a case up front. Service was top notch. Our waitress was very attentive, helpful and knowledgeable about the products. Let's get onto the food. It was all delicious very authentic. They were out of the chicken shish kebabs so I opted for the salmon. The salmon was flavored well, and I love the taste of the mild chard grill. My mother enjoyed her beef tenderloin kabobs.
