What an amazing experience. Tonight I booked reservations for me and some co workers that were traveling from out of town and we were greeted with excellent service. When you walk in the smell of amazing dishes hits you. Shortly after seated we were met by our server Justin. Hands down best server I have had in a long time. He had genuine interest in us. One of my co workers was from St Louis and he insisted we try the Ribs on the app menu to start off. I understand it's Pappasito's but the Woodlands locations continues to disappoint. Food was just ok... once we got it. Ordered food, after 30 minutes one of the managers comes by and apologizes for the delay and says food will be right out... another 20 minutes goes by and part of the order comes out, we mentioned the missing entrees and was told they were coming. After 5 more minutes we asked about them again and were told they would go check in the kitchen. All the food finally arrived and the part that came out first is now cold. Finished meal and no apology for the delay just here is the bill. Customer service needs to improve. Also their "band" they have to perform is terrible or maybe it's just the sound system. read more

HAPPY HOUR! Sat at the bar and the service was good. Complimentary chips and salsa were served as soon as we sat down. Chips were hot and the salsa had a hint of spice without being overly hot. The frozen margaritas have a nice flavor and are not super sweet. Their happy hour menu is great. My experience this past weekend was horrible. I made a reservation for a large group of 26 people for 7:00pm and we did not get seated until an hour away. We were told they overseated other groups. I had received my confirmations the day before, so I did not understand why this happened. We got there before 7 pm. We had elderly people with us, too. It was an awful experience. They got one table ready and the table next to us no one came to clean it so we can use it, like they didn't even care we were waiting so long. The manager did not come once to our table after we were seated and check on us or apologize or try to make us feel comfortable. I felt like there was no structure at this Pappasitos. The food is good, and the portions large, but the service we experienced today was lacking at the location in Shenandoah. In addition to lackluster table service, the two people in my party each ordered a to-go entree. We ordered and paid separately, but the order was combined and bagged as though it were a single order. We were shorted promised beans and rice, in addition to chips. This would t be the end of the world if my ticket for fish tacos were not $27 - for two pieces of fried fish and two corn tacos. I mean, really, serve it with rice and beans as we would experience in the restaurant. Next time we'll stick to Gringos. My son & I tried this place for the first time and unfortunately, will not be returning. Firstly, it took over 15mins to get menus and drinks (we sat at the bar) the bartender was more focused at the opposite side of the bar, which was frustrating as their we're 3 bartenders and 1 manager helping out but they were all so focused on helping the other side. Finally got menus and drinks, took another 15mins to place our order, which then it was entered incorrectly into the system (by the manager!) only ordered two apps and only one came out while others around us were getting served that had ordered after us. NO ONE checked on us to see if we needed anything else, finally tracked down one of the bartenders and he then told us the kitchen never made our second app and that the manager would be over to "settle" with us. Manager did not come until about 2mins before we were finally served our second app to only say "your order is in the flattop now" NO apology. We finally get the second app and it was dreadful! How can chicken quesadillas be so tasteless! We gave feedback and chose not to replace with anything else as we felt it wasn't going to get better and we had been there LONG enough. The manager took off the quesadillas but added an extra app on our bill?!?! WTH it was to say the least a horrible experience and the manager needs to be retrained! My favorite food item was the red snapper tacos that were battered and very satisfying. I was lied to. I noticed the "giant" hard shell chicken taco, à la carte (my dietary preference), was actually a smaller version of the original size.
