Highly recommend Willie's Grill & Icehouse at 16846 Interstate 45S, Conroe. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the manager, Keyonna, was excellent. Pretty mediocre. This is an icehouse in the way Texas road house is a road house. It isn't. It's just a chain restaurant. The food was blah. Wings didn't have much sauce. Everything was kinda greasy. Prices were too high for what it is. Waiter did the classic let me go check in your food and immediately comes back with Luke warm food meaning someone forgot to bring it out. Margaritas were weak. Honestly I wouldn't bother with this place. Go to Kirby or Sawyer Park if you want an ice house. read more

Came for the crawfish. 3/16/25. It's early in the season so they were mostly small w/ a few medium size. Honestly, I didn't think they were very spicy. Needs some additional Cajun seasoning on top. For those who haven't had crawfish here they have changed the delivery style. Gone are the red plastic trays. Now the bugs come in a plastic bag in a bowl. I ordered 3 lbs and it looked like 3 lbs. it's disappointing when you feel the weight is off. Anyways, I'd call the crawfish just fair. I'd give it a 3. Also, got a side of onion rings. Two sides to the restaurant, bar is full service and the other side is an order at the counter. Server was great, very friendly and had lots of recommendations. I saw a $3.00 margarita sign, and thought, how odd, the hours aren't posted (happy hour, etc). Inside I found they are $3.00 all day, EVERY day. Our burgers were very good, the spicy guacamole. This was my 2nd visit to Willie's Icehouse. Tonight, Addison was my first interaction as she was at the register taking orders and helping people like me make decisions. With her assistance, I went with the seafood combo - blackened catfish and grilled shrimp. For dessert, I chose the peach cobbler - amazing! Very casual and laid-back environment, which I feel is comforting. Many TVs all around the perimeter walls of the dining area, with a variety of things to watch. Prices are fair, service is above bar, casual and welcoming environment. Willie's Icehouse should be a regular stopping place for food, drink, and fun. read more

After placing our order at the entrance line, we made our way to a nearby table. Our server was quick to greet us and confirm our orders. We had a fantastic time even though there were some issues at the restaurant due to the construction happening near by. The reason I gave 5 stars regardless? The Customer Service was on point the staff were giving updates on certain items and what was going on and being completely transparent which I love! The young lady helping us at the front (Kivana I'm sure I got that wrong but maybe close) Was hands down just amazing for our first visits. She was so sweet, gave us some great recommendation, a free order of pickles and the run down on how everything works. We had a another young lady as our server who was just as awesome. I promise I wrote down names and now I can't find them. But she had blonde hair and purple glitter lips it was pretty cool. She was on top of everything for us drinks, foods, updates on what was going on she was just awesome. These two really made the visit a great time. The friend pickles and mozzarella sticks were very fresh. I ordered the chicken tendies taco with street corn and mac n cheese. I really enjoyed my tacos just gonna get some extra sauce next time. Street corn wasn't for me but Its not for everyone so I'll order something different next time. Mac/cheese was just your standard mac and cheese. My significant other got the wings and loaded fries big thing they don't charge extra for flats and I love that! He requested his wings extra crispy which they were and the flavor was good. The waitress did let us know the wings are the item that takes the longest on the menu so there was a little bit of wait for those. Loaded fries 10/10 would recommend crispy, cheese, delicious. Was staying in the hotel next door and didn't want to drive anywhere with the god forsaken traffic at this hour. I would eat here every day if I could! Had the gumbo (off the charts) the redfish tacos (amazing) and for desert the Apple Sizzler (OMG, incredible)! This is my kids' FAVORITE place. Any time they have a chance to go to a restaurant this is their choice. We've been a few times now and we've always had great food! The portions are good, it always seem fresh and it's just tasty! You have to try the fried pickles and fried mushrooms. Service is slow at times but they're always friendly. I would still recommend Willie's. However, I want to give feedback to the restaurant. We have moved from Houston. Every visit back is a must to go to Willie's for the margaritas and the Buffalo tenders. This visit, the Buffalo tenders were not as good as before. They weren't as crispy. The Buffalo sauce was scant and not the same or as good. I ordered the tater tots and they weren't seasoned as nice as my memory of the fries. I was disappointed. I'm hoping this was just a fluke. The only reason I am not leaving a 5 star is because my crab legs were rubbery and my husbands Cajun platter was hard to peel the crawfish and shrimp. The flavor was on point though. Maggie provided excellent service! The weather was perfect for the doors to be open giving a perfect ambiance for patio dining and the draft beer was cold! We will be back for sure! read more

We have been going to Willie's for years and now since the bar area has been built, we go even more. (At least 3 times a week if not more). It could be just husband and me or us with family and friends but service has always been good. Then Rick came along and hands down we really like him. He has excite customer service skills and knows how to make drinks. He made me a drink and his way, that drink was so delicious. Went back 2 days later, Rick was off and the girls were having problems making a good Bloody Mary. So when Rick came back I told him he needs to teach the girls. And he did just that. Took the time to show both girls step by step how to make one. He did not have to do that but he wanted to make customers happy. We really enjoy going to Willie's and being in a great atmosphere.
