First time staying down In Jupiter/Tequesta area for a wedding and was recommended this place by a friend who's local. The Baja fish taco was killer. Crispy piece of fried fish with a super citrusy slaw and a spicy mayo, really good. The Birria taco was also a show stealer. What I liked about this taco was the crispy shell. Have driven pass this place so many times and can't believe I have never stopped here to eat! Yesterday we stopped here for lunch, it's happy hour during the day so the prices are insane! By far Papichulos is my favorite restaurant in the Jupiter/Tequesta area. The vibe is chill and the food is always on point. Then you have the food, I've literally tried every taco there (my favs are the Gator, shrimp, tuna poke, pork shoulder, pork empanadas, Loaded Nachos, and of course the Guacamole.). We got the nachos to share and three different tacos to try. My favorite was the coconut shrimp taco, since I'm a sucker for coconut shrimp! The flavors complimented each other well and combined for a very pleasing bite! The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was lively with a lot of friendly conversation heard throughout the building. The food came out quickly and we were out within a thirty minute window. Since they love deleting google reviews, here's my experience: A group of us was recommended to eat here by a local. There was a misunderstanding about our order when the food runner brought it out. The waitress came over and the misunderstanding was promptly solved. However as the food runner came back out, he accused us of calling our waitress a b****. The waitress came over and apologized saying she never accused us of calling her any names. That accusation is so deeply offensive and insensitive. Completely left field and unprofessional. Relayed this interaction to the local and they said super disappointing and gave us a list of other restaurants to try out. Hopefully the city of Jupiter has better restaurant service out there. All very good, the queso could be a soup side, a spoon please? We went with an array of tacos, all good. Some soft, some crunchy. Yum Street corn, never ever had it, wow, will again. Basically everything I have ever ordered has been fantastic and we have been back multiple times. The tacos are always great - I always wind up able to pick two that beat a third one, but even the "loser" is good. Today I had the spare rib taco (birria), the Brussels sprouts taco (repollito), the tuna poke tostada, and the street corn. The repollito was today's "loser" but it was still quite good. It just couldn't measure up to the spare ribs with melted cheese and broth to dip it in or the awesome fusion of the tuna. The street corn was served in thirds of a cob, each on their own skewer which made it easy to share (though I didn't) and less messy to enjoy. Delicious seasoning, good texture. I also shared the yucca fries which I had had before - delicious. My husband had the short rib empanada, puerco, and barbacoa tacos (ordered without cheese), plus his favorite Smoke/Chill cocktail. There was about a fifteen minute wait for our table, but the waitlist viewing feature here on yelp made that super easy. We were seated at a giant table outside, felt like there was lots of room around us. Bonus, everyone brought their dogs today so we got to see no less than 7 adorable doggos parade past us, all very well behaved and sweet. Both inside and outside tables are great. When it is hot they have fans mounted everywhere to turn on. Today was nice and cool - fans and umbrellas not needed. Bathrooms have the best flamingo wallpaper.
