Very quick response from owner regarding pricing. The communication was great, the 2 men who helped us with our move were able to move all our boxes, crates, furniture and more in a timely manner. They packed loose items for us and securely packed it all for us. Would definitely recommend using Papas Boys as movers! read more

I highly recommend Papa's Boys! They were very responsive and organized through the entire process. The people I communicated with via Yelp were helpful and friendly and the people who helped with the actual move were fast and STRONG! I had several heavy pieces of furniture that needed to be moved from the second floor, down a winding staircase. All of my furniture arrived with absolutely no damage and they did a great job placing the boxes in the right rooms. I don't enjoy moving but I'll be reaching out again whenever I need to move next. :) read more

I do recommend Papa's Boys for anyone looking for safe furniture and heavy duty moving specially if it's from state to state. I'm pregnant and was so stressed about moving . They are the best on time, budget and communications. These two Ukrainian brothers are awesome and deserve all best and support. They didn't allow us even help with carrying a small box and they brought their own equipment and tools to make sure all good also they helped packing the rest of here and there small stuff before they finish I moved from California to Texas and they made it so smooth and easy within 3 days Thank you Sergio and Alex!!! read more

Papa's Boys - Moving boxes - Movers Near Me - San Jose, California

The guys were nice but they were not the best. They scratched our floors, broke a few pieces of furniture and they even broke our banister. They taped it up and didn't even say anything. Anyway, I would prob hire professionals next time. They made it so much harder on themselves by wrapping the sofa with the cushions and the dressers with the drawers inside. It's ridiculously heavy if you don't take out the moving parts. The guy was also lifting with his back. Poor soul must've been aching the next day. read more

They offered me the best rate for moving an old classic upright piano! They managed to move the piano with 2 people and a trolley (no stairs). They are very responsive. The reason for 4 stars is because they were late for the appointment. Otherwise, happy with their service. read more

Sergiy and his team did a fantastic job with our move from San Jose to Carmel by the Sea. His team was very professional and friendly. Despite our furniture being over sized and very heavy (not to mention; a very sloped driveway). These guys made it happen! We met with Erik and he was so easy to talk to! Super courteous and professional which made the whole process real smooth! However, as the previous reviewer mentioned, we felt that they need a tad more experience with assembling/ speed. The truck was small too but not a deal breaker because we could tell they did their best to put everything in. :) the whole process took longer than it should have but we value good service which we got. I would recommend them to others. They are new so more the reason we should give them time to learn and grow. :) read more

I had a really good experience with Papa's boys. I used them for my move from San Francisco to San Diego. Not only were they very reasonably priced, but they also delivered everything in one day. Every other moving company I talked to said it would be at least a few days, and one company said it could be up to 12 days! I was really grateful for how fast and easy they made everything. They included wardrobe boxes, and moved my plants for me. There were also no damages, and no hidden fees. read more

Papa's Boys - Piano - Movers Near Me - San Jose, California

Serge and team had a great attitude and were super nice to work with. The reason for the three stars is mostly due to the following: * We were quoted $105/hr via Yelp. Then when we called we were given a $150/hr which was fine since it meant 3 guys. We proceeded to do a video estimate where we showed everything that was left to move. At this point the quote was at $800 +/-100 depending on time. The day of the move, the team showed up and we were asked to add a fourth guy which would be faster but around the same ballpark estimate, but they couldn't get another person. At this point, we were told it'd be a 6 hours job with the 3 men team. Hours passed and the job turned into a 9 hours move (2:00pm thru 11pm). The estimate from 800 became $1400! *The team didn't have any power tools and refused to use ours. So simple bed and kitchen table disassembly/assembly tool much longer than needed. *There were wardrobe boxes available as promised, but without a handing rod, so all clothes were thrown in with hangers. It took us a long time to untangle them to be out back in a new closet. *The trailer was not big enough and required 2 trips instead of one for a 4 miles distance move where we packed everything ourselves, except very few things. We've moved across state lines with services including packing all of our belongings and it took much less time. read more

From the initial communication I felt reassured by Papa's Boys.
