1hr bottomless mimosas in guava & orange

Food was good, cute place. Overall liked it, would go back maybe if it was in my neighborhood.

The cutest spot for breakfast in Gilroy. I love the drinks, and at first I was scared but the eggs Benedict with salmon was surprisingly delicious!

    Outdoor patio area.

First time here, ordered eggs Benedict Canadian bacon with hash browns and chicken and waffles with fried potatoes. Presentation is decent, food is a bit bland, nothing special. Atmosphere is clean and nice outdoor area. Service is decent. Not a fan;(

Food was delicious and we got our food so fast. I'm very happy with the customer service that they gave us. The place was very clean and has a nice outdoor seating. Highly recommended :)

French toast with eggs and sausage. No syrup :(

Haven't dined in yet, but drove by and seen that Papas & Eggs replaced the Tacomania on 1st Street. I decided to doordash it this morning and it was OK. It was prepared fairly quickly, hence my order arrived pretty quick. I ordered the French toast with eggs and sausage, bacon Benedict with hash, and a side of grits for my LO. French toast (3/5) - came with butter, but did not come with syrup, which was a huge disappointment.... the sausage was OK. Bacon Benedict (2.5/5) - very salty! The side hash was OK, but the hollandaise sauce and bacon were both super salty. Grits (3/5) - nothing special, it's grits... baby was able to eat it just fine. I didn't think it was pricy as other reviewers mentioned. Seems to be average to me. Meh, first experience so far wasn't great. I may have to give it another try.

When they first opened they were amazing. So many details and standards have been lowered including the top two - service and food! Disappointed and unless I hear of some huge change back for the better, I'd rather go to Sandy's or OD's than here.

First of all this restaurant has amazing food! The service is wonderful! Uri was our server and she's amazing as well! Always smiling and very polite, delightful, always excellent customer service! Ask for her when you go! I haven't had the chance to see the other servers. The first time I went it was myself and my daughter and we were coming back from the airport and we decided to stop somewhere and found this little gem of a restaurant the ambiance is nice it's very nice inside of the restaurant and it's cute and quaint! It also has a little area outside where you can sit which is very nice! So within a week I had went to pick my son and his friends up from the San Francisco Airport and told them about this place and I also took a friend of mine with me to pick them up so I decided Well let's stop and have friends there they all loved the food they're all going to go back of course I'm going to go back my daughter and I decided to make this a go to place at least once a month because we're from we're about 30 minutes from there maybe 20. So this is one of the restaurants that I will continue to go to we are also trying to get them to open a restaurant here in Salinas which is where we are from and I hope they do because I will be a lifetime customer and I will tell all of my friends and everybody I can about this place so when you read this and look at the pictures we've got please go try this place if you have access to getting there I don't know about their other places but I know this one there's Chef is their food is amazing thank you Yuri! We will be back! You must GO! Love it!

I was planning on going to a place down the road for Mother's Day but we got there and even though the restaurant was very empty, they said reservations only! So I had seen Papas & Eggs bright yellow sign on my way to the other place and thought I'd check that out instead. The parking lot was a little small but we found nearby street parking. We walked in and they did look packed with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, but we were seated pretty quickly. The menu had a really good selection of breakfast items (skipped looking at lunch because I wanted breakfast). I was tempted by one of the benedicts or a breakfast burrito, but I ended up getting the chorizo omelette which was delicious. My mom got the veggie omelette and she enjoyed that, along with a side of French toast. I think I'd try the mimosas next time I go, they looked really good.

5-Star Review for OD's Kitchen in Gilroy I finally made it…read moreto OD's Kitchen in downtown Gilroy, and wow--what a fantastic spot for breakfast! This place lives up to all the hype as one of the best breakfast joints in the area, with huge portions, friendly service, and that cozy local vibe. I started with the chocolate cream drink (their rich, creamy hot chocolate or chocolate milk variation--whatever it exactly is, it's indulgent!). It was perfectly sweet without being overpowering, super smooth and velvety, topped just right. If you're a chocolate lover, this hits the spot and pairs amazingly with breakfast. Not too heavy, but definitely satisfying. For my main, I went with the famous Rosebud breakfast, and I can see why it's a favorite for so many people. It's a hearty, loaded plate with eggs, meats, potatoes, and all the classic fixings done exceptionally well. Everything was cooked perfectly--fluffy eggs, crispy edges where needed, and those fresh country potatoes were addictive. The portions are generous; I couldn't finish it all and definitely didn't need lunch afterward! The staff was quick, welcoming, and the place was buzzing with locals. If you're in Gilroy and craving a solid, no-fuss breakfast with standout items like the Rosebud and a great chocolate drink, OD's Kitchen is a must-visit. Highly recommend--I'll be back soon! 5/5 stars

OMG! What a disappointment. It's been a long time since I've been to OD's, but I remember them…read morehaving a really good chicken fried steak. Boy, have things changed! I can say, without hesitation, that this was the second worst Chicken Fried Steak I've ever had in my life. The breading completely came off the steak. The steak was thin and WAY over cooked. It was tougher than shoe leather. I could barely cut it with the steak knife, and it gave my jaw a helluva workout trying to chew that thing. And the gravy was terrible. So thin, I could see the steak right through it. It looked like a glazed donut. That's how thin the gravy was. Then, I asked for EXTRA crispy hash browns. They weren't even regular crispy, let alone EXTRA crispy. The eggs and the English muffin were fine. It's hard to mess up those things. The service was fine, but the kitchen COMPLETELY dropped the ball. I drove all the way from Santa Clara, thinking about the great CFS they used to have. Wasting all that gas, for one of the worst breakfasts I've had in a long, long time. smh

Vine and pint was the same, packed but bar top was open so we grabbed a seat and ordered my wife and I some sliders as an afternoon snack! Chatted with the bar tender and learned more about the festivities going on since it was a Friday before halloween so I was curious if Gilroy was always so lively or it was just that weekend. Bartender was great and even offered me a few samples of the local brews just to try. Honestly didn't recall which things but I do recall one was a sour and ipa for the first time. But I think I enjoyed the one that tasted like a sangria. I joked about hearing that Gilroy was garlic capital so asked if there was a garlic beer since I saw somewhere there was garlic ice cream, but unfortunately there wasn't a garlic beer on tap so no luck there. Soon afterwards our sliders came and we got to enjoy our afternoon snack before heading out to locate me a sample of garlic ice cream in the garlic capital! Sliders were good and medium well! If only Gilroy was the final stop on the road trip I think I would've enjoyed a bar hoping experience since it seemed like there were plenty of bars to choose from!

I can see this street being busy and parking hard to get on a weekend. The restaurant has plenty of tables but no outside seating. There is a large bar with a great selection of wine, spirits and beer. The team serving us was welcoming and attentive. They knew their wines and were happy to make great recommendations. Our party did not get to order from the food menu because it was a preset menu for dinner. There was a buffet with a protein, vegetables, salad and dessert. I took one star off because of how greasy the food was. Other than that hiccup, I would come back here on my own. The service was outstanding - attentive but no pressure. An upscale place in downtown Gilroy. I highly recommend.
