My sesame chicken was cooked perfectly--tender, flavorful, and not overly crispy or hard like it can sometimes be. It was just right. The only thing that missed the mark for me was the fried rice. The peas and carrots tasted a little cold, which threw off the texture and flavor. Next time I'll probably stick with the white rice like my husband always does. Service was prompt, and we never felt forgotten. A gentleman, who I assume was the owner or manager, stopped by to check on us, and I noticed they greeted customers as they came in, which always leaves a good impression. The atmosphere is quiet, cozy, and comfortable. Even though the restaurant was busy, it wasn't crowded or noisy, making it easy to enjoy a nice lunch and conversation. Overall, it's a solid lunch spot with friendly service and good food. I'd happily come back again. Four stars from me.

The Kalua pork plate was just like being on the north shore of Hawaii and the Spam musabi was the perfect way to start the meal off for me. There's limited seating and it's kind of hard to locate ( the door is around the corner from the parking lot and there's construction going on) but it's well worth the search. We walked in and were greeted with a big smile and hello and it only took about 10 minutes for our lunch to be ready for pickup. We'll be back there soon.
