After having my sewer lines cleaned out by the terrific Joe McCloud from Diamondback Drains (recommended as step #1 by Mainline), I had the Mainline service rep come out to scope out my line. He did a great job and explained every step of what he was doing. He scoped my sewer line out to the street and found that there were no breaks or cracks or irregularities anywhere in my line. A different and well-known plumbing company had tried to tell me a year ago that all of my pipes were cracked and needed to be replaced---to the tune of almost $15,000. Thank goodness I resisted that other company's dishonest, hard-sell pitch. Mainline is efficient, reasonably priced, friendly and HONEST. If you want great service and do not want to be lied to or price-gauged, call Mainline.

I then asked them if they could do a late morning appointment instead of from eight to noon and I was told yes that would not be a problem. At 1:55 I called them to find out what their status was and I was told we will call you back. It is now 330. I had not heard anything reached out to the warranty department and they canceled the service on me. This is poor customer service on their part. They knew I lived in Colorado Springs and they didn't have the decency to call back and just canceled my appointment at the last minute

He gave a reasonable price range for what to expect. Of course, the project was not as easy as I advertised -- it turns out that the shut off valve for the house didn't work. I can't thank him enough.

I knew I had a toilet that was running and might be causing the issue. I called Superior Mile High Plumbing after reading numerous 5-star reviews. Hector came out the same day and inspected all 3 toilets at my home. He advised that he could fix the issue by replacing the parts inside the running toilet, but that all the toilets are 10 years old and show signs of corrosion in the tanks. I asked him to replace the parts in all 3 toilets, which he did. I was very pleased with his response time, efficiency, and professionalism. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in need of plumbing assistance.

Hector is prompt, pleasant to work with, and seems reasonably priced. However, I urge you to read…read moremy story before you hire him. When my washing machine caused my basement floor drain to back up, I hired Hector to clear the line. When he was done, he said he could not properly replace the wastewater pipe cleanout cap he removed to access the line. A previous repair person had attempted to seal the 3-inch screw-on cap with silicone. Hector said it might leak, but pointed out that even if it did, it was just a few feet from the floor drain. The cap did indeed leak, the very next day.   When I complained via text that sewer water was leaking, he immediately called. He said it was the fault of the previous repair person who used the wrong cap. This was a fact he failed to mention before. When I asked, he said he would email a photo of the correct cap, which he did. He said would only fix the leak for a fee.   Now, after flushing the toilet, I must pour a solution of water and disinfectant to chase the sewer water away. I have a different company coming to properly install the new cap. I have taped the cap on temporarily as you see in the photo. It still leaks. So, to recap: My wastewater pipe cap was not leaking. Hector removed the cap to perform work. He was unable to replace the cap properly. Raw waste (sewer) water is now leaking in my basement. He says it's not his fault.   Hector may be prompt and pleasant, but don't expect him to go the extra mile--not even for a sanitary issue like this one.

THE BEST!!! How can I convince everyone reading this to use this group of people and company Rooter…read moreGuys? Let's start from the beginning. -- I got the pleasure of first meeting Jeff who came out to do an estimate. Jeff had this genuine confidence about his experience, his team and his company (which was really nice since my 1940s home had a lot of plumbing issues. Essentially we needed everything replaced!). On top of that, he and his team gave me an estimate that was beyond competitive. Rooter Guys truly want to help their customers and not take all the money since they understand house projects and repairs are a huge headache physically and financially. Next he brings out the team Lead Jacob (this guys KNOWS his stuff and years of experience), amazing Cody, and awesome Austin to get another eye over on what their going to do like double checking their work. All three of the workers were also very kind and helpful if I had any questions or concerns. They even would go out of their way to show me pieces that they needed to repair, educate me on what to look out for or what pipes are which, levers, etc. Rooter Guys even found a blocked ground pipe that was so important to replace so that our basement/foundation would not die from water damage. I had so much anxiety because I was thinking "Oh great. Another expensive bill!!" But no, THEY TOOK CARE OF ME! They were efficient and clean in their work. They communicated and educated every step of the way. They were so professional and nice at the same time. They are licensed and have a warranty. I will 100% recommend to others and use them again in the future. I like them so much that they are invited to my house warming party. :) Again, Rooter Guys are the best. The end.

When I scheduled the appointment, I was told there would be a non-refundable $49 trip charge. What I was not told was that the $49, as the plumber later explained, "only gets me to your front doorstep." Once he arrived, I was informed that diagnosing the possible problem would cost an additional $289--even though he acknowledged that it might take only a few minutes to determine the source. The plumber himself was polite, honest, and professional. He seemed genuinely uncomfortable explaining the pricing and apologetically stated that it was corporate policy. My concern is not with him; it is with the company's lack of transparency when the appointment was scheduled. The plumber was also approximately three hours early and called to ask whether I could accommodate the earlier arrival. I rearranged my schedule to do so, only to turn him away after learning about the additional charge that had never been disclosed. I have no problem paying a fair price for professional work. However, charging a non-refundable $49 fee without clearly explaining that it covers nothing beyond arriving at the home--and that even a brief diagnosis will cost another $289--did not feel fair or transparent. I declined the service and am now out the $49.
