Was looking forward to pizza. Ordered on line... what a pain. 30 min wait... got there and no one waiting and we were only pizza. Not Ute why it took them 39 min. Lost my appetite when I picked up. They apparently have no dress code standards and doubt they have hygiene standards. The individual giving us pizza had long hair there hung down over face and one of the workers had bad body odor. Once we finally got it baked I could only eat a few bites. Rest of family ate and said it was ok. Not impressed and don't plan I on returning. We order Papa Murphy's pizza every Friday. I placed my order online and paid. I choose this store because it was on my way home, this isn't the normal store we order from. Pizzas were ready for pickup when I arrived. Staff were nice and helpful. They had many pizzas waiting for pickup. That's the 2 stars The disappointing part was the pizzas were lacking in ingredients and whole family noticed and said the taste just wasn't the same on the Hawaiian and Herb Chicken delight. On the 16 inch Family size, the Canadian Bacon was only 13 slices and looked sparse and minimal pineapple. If lacked a lot of flavor. We know and noticed because it's a weekly favorite. Herb Chicken Delight didn't taste the same either, hardly any chicken and lacked flavor. Also one of our regular picks. Lesson learned, will not order from this store again! All in all I'm not going back. It's close but I'll have to find another place to. On 3 separate occasions I have had to have them remake my pizza. This last time I ordered a pumpkin shaped pizza. I had to send it back due to the pizza having a ton of sauce in it. I thanked them for making it and tipped for the order. I get home bake the pizza and find there was a huge bubble in the crust...not a huge deal. We taste the pizza and it had an after taste that it didn't normally have. None of my kids ate more than a half a slice. Either the cheese was bad or.... All in all I won't go back. No call or follow up from management is needed, I just know they're gross and will take my business elsewhere. read more

This is my go to pizza place and have always been happy with the customer service from the staff. They always greet you when you come in. I have not had a bad experience with their pizza, they have always been on point with quantity and flavor. As always on Friday nights, I ordered my pizza online through MySlice. I saw that I was eligible for a free cookie dough so tried to redeem it online, I was unable to so I figured when I pick us the pizza. I will mention it. Justin who helped me was as helpful as he could be with trying to get the redeem function to work. He asked for assistance from, I believe the manager - she was wearing a black outfit, she explained if it's a certain color it means it has been redeemed. I said to Justin I have not redeemed it, he explains to the manager (I assume) and she lo is at the color on the screen and corrects him and says it's been redeemed and walked. I was in front of Justin the whole time and she did not once acknowledge me or ask if I had redeemed it. Such bad display and f customer service and leadership. I am rating the pizza and Justin a five star but to the lady and the service she provided is Zero. Also, feedback for Papa Murphy, if you are going to tell your loyal customer that they are eligible for a free something, make sure your online service recognize it. Regretfully had Papa Murphy's again tonight. We got 2 pies, stuffed and regular.. Just bad pizzas overall. Everything tastes cheap. Poorly balanced. (almost no cheese in 1/4 of the stuffed pizza. Top cheese only covered maybe 1/3 of the middle of the pizza. Almost no sauce on both the regular and stuffed). Papa Murphy's has always been borderline edible to me but this was bad by even their standards. There's a reason I've only had their pizzas 3 times over the course of 15 years (since I first had food from here). And again, I wish I didn't. Do yourself a HUGE favor and order from Pizza Hut or Little Caeser's. Or since you're in the mood to bake your own pizza.. grab one from the freezer section at Safeway. You're welcome :-) read more

Well I usually go to the Papa Murphys on pearl, but I live closer to this location now. I'm going to preface this saying that this is during the COVID-19 pandemic. So they have signs posted everywhere about social distancing and keeping 6 feet apart. Also, they ask that only like 4 people are in the building at a time. And during this time, I appreciate this. But here's my issue. They have a table in front of their POS systems. I get they are trying to distance themselves from the customers and likewise, but this is completely out of compliance. There are federal guidelines regarding ADA access. This table completely disregards this. Both card machines were kinda canted and not facing forward, also, there wasn't access (I think it's 3 ft from ADA compliant readers). I have family members that are disabled and this is demeaning to them. I get this is during a pandemic, but this is just plain rude. read more

Went there late, we didn't realized it closed at 9 but arrived there at 8 and these chicks were so pisssed we wanted to get a pizza ... which literally takes two seconds and then they wrap it in plastic... it's not like they bake it there .. they had everything stacked on the cart to take back to the cooler which I knew all too well, I've done food prep and had to take a line down multiple times as well as set one up. This chick was trying to pack up early. She gave us the death glare when we walked in. I moved to the PacNW from NJ, where good pizza was as easy to find as bad hair and bitchin' Camaros. Out here, pizza is expensive and frequently mediocre. Papa Murphy's provides a decent pie, however. Its Garlic Chicken Pizza is delicious, and a few of the deLite options are very good as well (the sun-dried tomato and chicken, for example). Granted, I have to cook it at home, but I suppose that means I can chest thump to Journey as it plays. The place is clean, the servers all seem to be good kids, and its quick. We moved to University Place 2 years ago. We have been going into this Papa Murphy's at least once a week sometimes Twice for quite some time now. It makes an easy meal for my husband who works Graveyard. Today I tried to order a pizza online because I had a 25% off coupon that had been Emailed to me. I tried the other day but it just kept taking me around in circles to order a pizza but never allowing me to actually order the pizza. The same thing happened today. So I called the U.P. Papa Murphy's for help. The young man on the phone guided me through the online order process but at a certain point it started back at the beginning to order another pizza. He said I could just Place my order with him. I told him I was ordering online cause I have a 25% off coupon code. I asked if my husband can bring in the 25% off coupon code. He asked me to hold while he asked the Manager. He came back to say, "the Manager said, "No" she would not take the coupon code." I told him the Owner had taken the coupon code before when we couldn't get the website to work. He apologized and said goodbye. I said goodbye too, FOREVER! Their manager is worried about $5 off a $20 pizza. They just lost more business than $5. She shouldn't be a manager she doesn't have good decision making skills. Once again we are disappointed with our pizzas from the UP store. If we'd never purchased from another Papa Murphy's outlet, we might have thought the pizza was typical of all Papa Murphy's. We know better. The University Place store consistently puts less ingredients on each pie, and rarely takes any toppings closer than two inches to the outside edge. When we see a good looking pizza advertised, we order said pizza in the hope of getting one that looks the same. It just doesn't happen. It's too bad that our local store doesn't care about the product it puts out. After tipping generously every time we order online, and receiving sub-par quality pizzas, apparently it's time to vote with our feet and go to a pizza shop that is proud of their products and wants our business! read more

Never had a problem with service here. Pizza is very fresh, taste amazing, and is a good value. I def prefer it over delivery or frozen pizza any day. It almost always taste better the next day, tho. Only thing I don't like about Papa Murphy's is they sometimes skimp on the sauce, so the pizza can end up being dry at times. Other than that I've always been a fan of their pizza. Except for any pizza with artichoke on it. It always ends up having that slightly acidic vomit taste, like when you throw up in your mouth a little. read more

I love this store! I have a really bad dairy allergy and thought I would never have pizza again.... until I bought a cheese less stuffed pizza! The employees are so great about catering to my allergy. They take special care when making my pizza, from cleaning their station to making sure there is no cheese accidentally dropped into the toppings or the pizza. Employees made the experience good! Management made me uncomfortable and made me feel sorry for the employees. She yelled at multiple employees over little things and was degrading them in front of customers. I ordered a large chicken bacon ranch pizza online on 1/24. When I arrived at my scheduled pick up time the girl behind the register said the other girl still had to make it. I was in a hurry which is why I had pre ordered. The store wasn't busy whatsoever but the kids behind the counter were so busy chatting and goofing off they forgot the cheesy bread for the lady in front of me. That should have been my first clue. After a ten minute wait they finally called my name and handed me my pizza. I didn't even glance at it which was my mistake, but when I got home I realized they had given me some sort of supreme pizza by mistake. I wish I could give it a negative 100% I have had it with this location!!! I placed an order. Went in to get it both were wrong. They remade one. Got home and went to put in my 2nd pizza and realized it was wrong also. I called told her it was supposed to be a garden vegi not a Gourmet vegi. I told the lady my husband was in the parking lot and that we would bring the other one back after we ate. She said OK. This Papa Murphy's is consistently bad. I made an order at 1:30 this afternoon for pick up at five when we went into pick it up they couldn't find it again. The girl behind the counter was obviously new and a manager spent her time yelling at the staff which was also uncool and not necessary. It's embarrassing for the staff and also for the people waiting to pick up you don't know who to feel sorrier for. I would rather drive the extra 4 miles to the other Papa Murphy's in town even though this one is close and convenient but this is the last time I'm going to play games with this particular Papa Murphy's store. read more

Walked in on a Sunday and there was absolutely no one in there. Went up to the counter with a mobile coupon to order. The lady went to get the manager and said she needed approval to use the coupon. The manager was so unfriendly, argumentative & rude! She continued repeatedly with her behavior, even after being told it was not appreciated. Displaying this in front of numerous customers & staff. She would not honor THEIR coupon and if she would have stopped arguing and listened to the customer, this review would have been avoided. Once she realized she was wrong, she tried blaming her employee (poor guy), but he reminded her that she was the one that told him not to discount my pizza order. This is not the first encounter I had with this particular manager. I believe in giving second chances, so after this incident, this particular store is crossed off!
