Having grown up in San Francisco I have had my fair share of good pizza. What I like about This Papa Murphy's is they pay attention to what you want on your pizza and the exact amount of it. What a tad more cheese, a touch more garlic you got it. I have gone to the store to pick it up with a line coming out the front door, not to worry, they get everybody's order out pronto and with a smile. Love the Friday deals - can't go wrong. However, wife wanted a deep dish and although were both from Chicago, did not anticiapte anything original or close to authentic. However, what we received was about 5 lbs of dough and disapointment. I didn't notice until I got home or I would have asked for my money back. Sauce and cheese was in the center and spread about half the size of the dish. It tasted about as good as a loaf of cheesy bread. Other pizzas are great, just maybe reconsider the deep dish. read more

About a year ago I left a review on how great this place was. Within the last 11 months it has dropped significantly as far as quality of person working there. Good pizza, but this place doesn't have its online act together. While today's online order fail was exceptional, in the three times I've used the app to order for pickup, my order has never once been ready at the requested time. I'd advise, that if you use the online app, tell them you want your pizza 1/2 hr before you actually want to get it. Today, even though I ordered an hour ahead, when I got there the pizza wasn't ready. Neither were any of the other online orders. I watched as people who had not ordered ahead ordered, got their pizzas, paid, and left. So, I actually was penalized for ordering and paying ahead with the longest wait in the shop. Like I said - the pizza is fine. Just don't order ahead. Don't use the app or order online until they get their system figured out. It's kinds like subway for pizza - you need to stand there in the shop and interact for best service - at least at this time. read more

I absolutely love this place! I came in with my husband a few nights ago and came across these two teens girls working, going by the names of Grace Walker and Brooklyn Cummins. These young girls were just a delight! They were running the place alone during a late night rush and everything was handled perfectly! It was amazing seeing how much they cared for their customers and were able to persevere through obstacles. Pizza was made quickly and fabulously - the place was clean as well. Made an online order for my nearest Papa Murphy's. Upon arriving, the lone staff member couldn't find my order. We deduced that I accidently placed the order at a different location. No big deal; I'll go there. They too didn't have my order and finally remembered to look at my online confirmation. Yep, original location. Quick call to tell them of my return and have the pizza waiting. Hey stuff happens. Upon re-arriving, the pizza still wasn't ready and order still not found. Looked like good kids. I'll give em a break. I showed my confirmation and suggested an upsize for 20 min's of unnecessary driving. "We're running low on that size." Triggered. Now I'm holding back my inner Ken. I thought that ordering online and picking up your pizza on the way home was a great Idea, Send your kids or the wife or husband to pick up the order, however the last two times I ordered from the Parker Colorado store the orders have been wrong. I told them of the mistake the first time, they were going to credit me on my next order, well the next order was this last weekend, had guests they wanted pizza, we ordered what they wanted, the order was wrong again. This time I called the store right away, ( I don't live close to the store ). The young lady that answered the phone was more than put out that I was bothering her with the phone call, I asked to speak to the manager, "she's not here" can I leave a message, yea hang on. Gave her my information and asked to have the manager call me Monday, then she hung up on me, I called back and I asked her name she gave it to me and hung promptly again. Today (Tuesday) I talked to the manager who was suppose to call me (Monday), she didn't seem to concerned about it either, "well we are training a bunch of people", I asked if she could just refund my credit card, well today is Tuesday and we're busy the soonest I can do anything is tomorrow. I have always enjoyed Papa Murphys. This past experience has soured me a bit. I called an order in and arrived at the store. I "checked" in with them to let them know I was there for my pizza. The teen responds with "it is coming up now." Well, after several other customers are called to retrieve their orders, I returned to the counter, 20 minutes later, to ask about my pizza. My pizza that was on the line was put on the shelf where it sat for 20 minutes. I came to the store exhausted and ordered the pizza for the convenience. I tried to place an order using Papa Murphy's online system. It was 30 minutes of wasted time that I'll never get back. Unfortunately, the system does not understand the concept of a half & half pizza. Yes, you can specify that a specific topping is placed on only half of the pie; however you are limited to a certain number of these changes, which means that there is effectively no way to order a half & half pizza using the online system. Therefore one cannot take advantage of the online-only deals. (- 1 star) Ok, so I move on to placing the order via telephone. I tell them that I have a paper coupon. That seems to work ok, they just want to see the paper coupon when we pick it up. That's fine. I ordered a family size thin crust Gourmet Vegetarian on one half and a Chicken Bacon Artichoke on the other. They said it would be ready in fifteen minutes. About 20 minutes later, I am there to pick up the order. I collect it, pay, and go. I get home, cook it, and after 12 minutes, pull it out. My wife looks at it and says, "Why is there bacon all over the Gourmet Vegetarian side?" (-1 star) I call back and explain the situation and that given that half of the people eating this pizza are vegetarians, I can't see how we can continue to trust Papa Murphy's in the future. They said that they'd make things right. I asked how they intended to do that. They said they'd make us another pizza, and throw in a free side. It would be ready in five minutes. I agreed and said that since all parts of the current pizza had meat on it, just make the replacement pizza a full Gourmet Vegetarian. No problem. (+1) I arrive at the store. There is a long line. Eventually, I get to the front of the line and identify myself. They say something unintelligible and I have to ask again what they said. Finally I can hear the person say, "You don't have to pay. We messed up. He's got your pizza." He points. I follow the person being pointed to who gives me the pizza. I wonder about the side they promised; however I'm not in any mood to argue at this point. (-1) This leaves them with 3 stars. It is apparent that we must be vigilant regarding checking orders before departing the store. The fact that the free side was not honored makes me wonder if it was a hollow promise to begin with. We'll try one more time. Depending on how the next experience goes, we may or may not return after that. read more

We picked up a pizza at Papa Murphy's after a trip to the grocery store and it was just okay. The pizza did have a lot of toppings compared to most pizza places, but I thought it was overpriced for take and bake and didn't like the crust. I like a crispy crust and it didn't get crispy, but maybe we cooked it wrong. On the plus side, the restaurant was very clean and tidy and the pizza was completed quickly.
