This place has gone way downhill since they changed owners. Your pizza is never ready when they tell you it will be. Workers with earbuds in on the phone while making pizza, and then screws up the pizza so she just picks up the wrong toppings and put the right ones on. Guess what, if you weren't on the phone you'd probably get it right. Then the kicker today was they didn't have doughs made!! How can you not be prepared? We order a pizza that was a half N half. My side was suppose to have mushrooms, tomatoes and one kind of cheese. On my side I had pineapple, tomatoes and 2 kinds of cheese. I am not sure why the disappointment in the reviews about this place not cooking the pizza. It's literally a take-n-bake pizza joint. So I guess if I'm going to complain, it's not going to be about that. This place is mediocre, at best. If there is something special about it, which I mean, they HAVE been in business a long time, I guess I just haven't experienced it. My dad loves their pizza. In fact, that is the reason I go here at all. Today, I went to get him a pizza for Father's Day and decided to try the BBQ chicken pizza as well. The service is...meh. It's nothing special, it took about 20 minutes to get both pizzas. It's also one of those places that asks for a tip on a pre-purchase. I tipped 20% (not sure why, I guess I was feeling generous), and got absolutely nothing above or beyond everyone simply doing the job they get paid to do. That's my bad I guess because, well, what else CAN or SHOULD they do other than make my pizza as I ordered it, in the order they received it? The pizzas were as I ordered, and the BBQ chicken pizza was ok. Like I said, nothing special. The BEST "take and bake" pizza in the world. Period! My only complaint are the limited hours. But hey, who does "take and bake" at midnight? Papa Murphy's offers a great selection of signature pizzas. The Murphy's Combo will pretty much satisfy the taste of the most discriminate pizza junkies! It has all the popular meats (salami, pepperoni and sausage) as well as onions mushroom and olives. The Cowboy, takes the Combo and removes the salami and onions. They also offer a light alternative, called the deLITE line of signature pizzas. It offers a much thinner crust. The Chicken-Bacon-Artichoke deLITE pizza is extremely good. But I prefer a thicker, more traditional dough/crust. If you've got a real appetite happening, I have to suggest their stuffed pizza line! It's a beautifully assembled pie, stuffed with delicious ingredients and a nice blend of cheeses. My favorite is the Chicago-Style. This beast comes with salami, pepperoni, ground beef, onions and tomatoes! Their pizzas are easy to make, and with the exception of the stuffed pizzas, they all cook at 425 degrees in about 12 minutes! With this economy, and families on tighter budgets, the price of all of their pies is just right! Also, Papa Murphy's is always running specials. As I write this review, they are offering a large pepperoni pizza for just $6! They also run menu specials. For example, right now they are offering the Taco Grande' Pizza! If you cooked it and folded it over, it's simply be a ginormous taco! You can call in your order in advance, but the prep time for a pie is only a few minutes; wrapped and ready to go! Love Papa Murphy's it's like Subway but for pizza. This is my first time at this location and the staff were pretty friendly. The ingredients are always fresh. I really like that the Orange Leaf Yogurt place is next door and they give you coupons for it. Every Friday night with my son is pizza night, and sometimes we get tired of the same old frozen pizza, or the take n bake pizzas from Wal Mart and Sams Club. So, I decided to take a trip back in time and visit Papa Murphy's. I say take a trip back in time because I frequented Papa Murphy's back in my days in Colorado Springs a decade ago. I liked it back then and I still like it today. Papa Murphy's is a typical take and bake concept, only cool thing is you get to watch them make your pizza as you wait which is kind of cool, especially for a 5 year old. Since it's pizza with my son, it's peperoni pizza again and boy do you get pepperonis as the entire surface of the pizza is covered with them. It takes just a few minutes for them to assemble your pizza and you are out the door. When you get home, throw it int he oven for 12 or so minutes ans you have a nice, pizza waiting for consumption. Now, I won't lie to you and say this is better than the mom and pop pizza joints in your neighborhood, but they make a pretty decent pizza. OF course the price is more than what it was a decade ago, but a single family size pizza will feed my son and I dinner and two breakfasts so even at the higher cost it's still a pretty good deal. As Lesley said they have some cookie dough for sale which is quite tasty, but they also offer cheesy bread, salad and I think some desert pizzas but don't quote me on that last part. I'm glad I took a stroll down memory lane for out latest pizza night and will venture back some other time to give this place another visit. read more

This place isn't so when you want a Take and Bake style pizza. Last night, I was in the mood for pizza and didn't really want some greasy joint nor any frozen crap that was in our freezer. So we ended up at Papa Murphy's with a Pesto Chicken Pizza (it had sun dried tomatoes..yum) Basically the pizza is prepped there and you go home and cook it. It's even pretty cheap and fresh! Also they have fresh cookie dough that is amazing and almost tastes like Grandma's when you make it. Yum! read more

I like that their pizzas are light and use fresh ingredients. Their thin crust is my favorite of any locally. The workers are always polite and curtious, they have several flavor options available in their signature pizzas and healthier options with their Delites options. We ordered the kids kit for our grandsons and they not only had fun creating their own pizzas but ate them too, saying that they were really good. We've had pretty much everything on the menu over the years. The father-son team that owns this location are very hands on and easy to talk with if you have any concerns. I wish they were open till 10:00 pm, however I understand that there may not be enough business to support later hours.
