Been sitting in a line for 35 minutes watching the two drive-through kids play with each other. They got the car in front of me order wrong so I imagine it'll be another 30 minutes. The person put my order in wrong and brought the spicy baked ziti with chicken instead of regular. Our pasta was so very dry, requiring us to ask for additional sauce. The Italian Cream Cake is cheesecake, of which I never order. He then said, no, it's not really cheesecake but it most dedicated like it. Had to ask for everything. I just told the window girl to give me anything of equal value because I already have an hour invested. I hadn't eaten at this restaurant is years!! Wanting to go to get some spaghetti and come back home, this was the option that was suggested. The customer service was super pleasant and friendly. I went through the drive thru but the dining room was almost full. So this place must have been doing something right! I got home and was delighted by my food presentation. However when I dug into my pasta, it was rather dry. The taste was really good though. Even when I got home, my food was still hot. The breadsticks were delicious as well. Ordered in the mobile app and arrived right at the time it gave. I selected to pick up in the drive through because I had 3 kids in car seats, two who were asleep. I told them I had a mobile ordered and pulled around to wait over 15 minutes for the car at the window to get their food. When I finally got to the window she tried to charge me for the wrong order. When she brought my food I asked if it has all been sitting out for 15+ minutes and she snapped yes it has and I should have come in to get it. She said twice that it was a "big order" and I should have come in for an order like that. It was for a family of 5! Then she stalked away before I could respond or check my food for accuracy and didn't return. My order was not correct. Won't return bc of her attitude. I travel for work so I have tried many Fazoli's and I think this place in particular were very generous with the portions especially with the meat sauce on the spaghetti. You know what? This place surprised me. My family came here for Sunday lunch and everything was absolutely as perfect as it could have been for a fast food style restaurant. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, the food was great, and we didn't have to wait for anything. I had a turkey club and it was probably one of the best club sandwiches I have ever had if I'm honest. The bread sticks were fresh and they gave us loads of them which kept the kids happy. If I could say one place they could improve it would be the inside rim of the toilet was gross. However, it was in the men's room and no males were working when we were there. Hats off to the employees. I know working in a restaurant sucks, but you make the best of it and it will help you when you move on in life. We will be coming back here. read more

First week in October (2020) and there was no indoor dining in Illinois. Every drive-thru in this area was jam-packed except for this one. How bad could it be, right? I don't know how you'd drive-thru and then eat any kind of pasta on the go so I opted for the pizza. They call it a double slice of pepperoni pizza for $4.99. It came in a Styrofoam to-go container and they gave me two bread sticks with it. The bread sticks were not good but the pizza was pretty decent. It reminded me of the pizza I used to get in college and order by the slice. It had clearly been cooked earlier and warmed up when I ordered it. It wasn't bad at all. Terrific tonight! Too many times, people only do a review to complain. Tonight, I went to Fazolis, first time in ages, and what a change. Staff were so polite and wonderful, place was very clean, service was great, food even better. Two separate times, someone stopped over to check on me or to offer me more breadsticks. I was so amazed and delighted. Too often our restaurants are going down hill with staff who don't care. Tonight was awesome. My favorite place for fast food itialian! My fav is Baked spaghetti. This time it was served in round bowls. Usually it's oval type dishes. Bf had the $5 lunch special. Two items and drink. So he had lasagne , salad and drink. Twice breadsticks for us. We did have to go up to the counter and ask for more. O e thing I did notice is that they have gotten narrower! Cutting down I guess. Ok! How hard is it to get a single order correct. Walk in to order my food they left my salad out of the bag. Got all the way home. NOT SALAD. Wow! The food here is alway served quick and is quite delicious. However. While in the drive through I noticed that 2 of the female employees had hair that was well below their waist and did not have it up or covered with a hairnet. Just flowing freely around the food and surfaces. This was disturbing to me especially with the current honey badger virus pandemic. Even for a fast food Italian joint, the food leaves something to be said. Where's the flavor? They over do it with the sauce to cover the cardboard-esque noodles. The breadsticks are constantly soggy in my option what their food is, just microwave frozen dinners that they put some extra sauce on it. The only things by that can possibly save this place is the decent size side salad(pre made and kept in mini fridge up front) and the decent service from the cashier. The bread stick attendant seems to want be anywhere other than where they were at. The air smelled stale while the carpet looks led wet, it was a very confusing time. read more

Fazoli's, its fast (sometimes) Italian food, the quality isn't as good as it used to be, however it a nice change of pace from the traditional fast food routine. Even better if you are in the mood for a quick Italian style dinner and are limited on time. No the food will not win any awards or be something you praise to anyone, its just fairly cheap, fast Italian food. As far as this location goes, service has steadily been on the decline. From messing up orders to snippy attitudes customer service is not their strong point. I understand that fast food can be stressful, however its the customers who are keeping you employed so no need to get rude or snippy with them. Hopefully the management here can step up the customer service level here and I will probably give them an extra star. read more

I do have a penchant for going to Fazoli's. I had to go and try the new concept. Real Plates--Really heavy duty plastic. The melamine plates are cool. But they still give you paper cups. They took all the trash cans out. I stood around looking for a can to through my paper cup. you still order at the counter but they have a worker bring you your food. the breadsticks are the best. the first ones they brought out were all buttery and warm. the second ones they brought out were hot but not very buttery. the food was about the same. it was alot easier to eat with the real forks and knives not the plastic forks that the noodles slide off of. they still had the cutlery out on the drink bar. overall i am a bit addicted and will always have room for Fazoli's. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Only because they sent my husband and I home with moldy breadsticks. We asked for some extras when we were dining in. Couldn't finish them all so we took them home with us. With me being pregnant, I was hungry again an hour+ later. I started eating a breadstick and noticed discoloration on it. I went into the kitchen to look at the others and, sure enough, covered in mold. I'm disgusted. With me being pregnant, it worries me even more. Just finished our Tuesday dinner from Fazoli's on N 159. The delivery was prompt (good job Dasher Rowena), the meal was hot and everything was exactly as ordered. We tried the (new) Duo Chicken Parm/Fettuccini and Chicken Carbonara - both were excellent. The Duo entree is an excellent value. We just had to order the triple chocolate cheesecake for later. UPDATE: After two positive experiences here, we had an extremely negative experience that will cause us probably never to go back. I want to preface saying I know this is fast food and nothing fancy, but that does not excuse extremely rude service, especially when they advertise themselves as a sit down place. The first two times we went the manager was clearly there - well, this time he was not and it was a whole different place. So different that we thought WE were being rude coming during closing - but no, we checked and it didn't close for another 1.5 hours. The food took 10+ minutes to come out which for a place that before took 1 minute is slow. No big deal. But nothing was said to us when they dropped off the food. No cheese was offered (not so important but noting the difference between manager-present service). They gave us twice as many (soggy) breadsticks as usual which I assume was so they would not have to check up on us, which they didn't. We could hear them having a great time in the back though. It smelled really weird too, and not good weird. The worst part was the woman who was vacuuming. When I asked her if the back was closed, she answered me the nastiest YES with an extremely dirty look. Later she took the condiments from the table, silent, angry looks, super aggressively (like snatched them), with no words as she reached over us. It was almost bizzare. She made us feel so uncomfortable and we wanted to leave ASAP. They forgot about our desert so we had to ask for it, it was not good so it ended up uneaten, and we got the hell out of there. My husband in military uniform thanked them on the way out, they did not acknowledge us at all. Changing my rating to 1 star from 3. OLD: We went here not realizing it was a chain fast food joint, but decided to eat there anyways and were pleasantly surprised. It's definitely fast food but there are really nice restaurant features like booth seating, unlimited breadsticks, fresh grated Parmesan cheese, they bring your food out to you and the food didn't totally taste like it was frozen once. Not too expensive and a way better choice than McDonald's or BK.The service was super nice and it was very clean there. We'll probably go again when craving quick comfort food :) read more

Normally I love Fazoli's however this location in Fairview Heights has been going down hill for a while. The reason I say that is mostly due to the lack of good customer service and from what I experienced this evening poor management. I almost always order the same thing every time I go there which is carbonara. There's only an option with chicken so in the past they usually give me a little extra pasta to make up for the difference that they're not adding in chicken or peas for that matter. So I let the girl, Savannah, know when I placed my order initially about my usual experience with my order and I could tell by the way she was responding that she didn't have any interest in listening to what I was saying. So I figured I'd definitely check my food before I left. Well of course as you see from my picture that nothing I said was listened to. Well, that's not even what got me fired up. She rolled her eyes at me and shook her head and said well this is what it is you're going to have to talk to the manager and I said ok. She started jerking her head around and my children even said something about how sassy and rude she was being. So the manager Eric came to the window and told me that it's not their policy to give more noodles and that's fine too but I told him that's not even the entire issue that his employee was being rude. He actually told me "no she's not and she's not even talking about you." (He did put some dried up plain noodles in a separate bowl for me) This should tell you all you really need to know. Meanwhile she's standing directly behind him with other employees still with all the body language of disrespect. I just decided to move on and drop it and put my experience out here in yelp land so that others may avoid them as well. The Fazolis in Edwardsville seems to be better I guess I'll just take my business there from now on. It probably won't be long, unfortunately before this one closes. Went through the drive thru on a Tuesday at 4, got home and noticed order was wrong (foul on my part) went back to get the missing part and this is where it got interesting. I walked in the door and the incoming manager gave me a look like I was ruining her day. Once I explained the mix up she rolled her eyes at me and began to snap at the back of house crew. Which, by the way, was one poor lady doing it all by herself. While I was waiting she proceeded to tear down every employee that came across her path. I had to wait and see my food in the window while she still berated the back of house. Once she boxed it up it was pretty much thrown in my face. I was amazed at how unprofessional she was thru the entire encounter. No apology, no courtesy, just get your stuff and get out. I understand they're short staffed like everyone else, but I've never before felt like I owed something to them for getting my order wrong. The food at this location is absolutely delicious! I ate here a couple times while visiting family over the summer, and I had no complaints at all. All of the dishes were very clean, and I think it's nice that they bring your food to you, and bus the tables. It was just unbelievably cold in there.
