Can't get easier. Great system. Order on line. Picked up 30 minutes later and all ready to go. Always a tasty pizza.

The landscape of this whole town was so beautiful. We waited 45 mins for a table for two at 1:00pm. The service was great, we got their hummus trio and a custom pizza with a thin crust, half flavored with pesto and the other half with marinara. Both the flavors were fantastic!!! Do try the complimentary honey, it was very delicious and different from regular honey. They do have branches at Denver city, I will revisit next time. Definitely recommend this place. It's unique and the pizza hit the spot!

The interior still has the old-time feel with wood walls and furniture, resembling the gold mining days. The staff is down to earth and friendly and the best seats are by the big windows with the sunlight shining through. Even if you're not a pizza fan, it's a must-try. It's one of the only establishments that serve this unique pizza. They also have other items such as wings, salads, and sandwiches. For those who aren't from Colorado or wonder why the crust is so thick, make sure you slather honey on it and you'll find your answer! It's the only way to eat a mountain pie. Also get the green chili - it's another item you'll only find in Colorado and New Mexico!

Was greeted by the owner, and just the fact she was there told me all I needed to know. Small but cozy space in a strip mall setting, I will probably do a kid free date night here once they get the alcohol going. I rarely find restaurants that exceed expectations on food, service and ambiance. This is one. I ordered the chicken piccata, works pizza, penne bolognese and salad. All were top notch, my kids actually cleaned their plates, and the pizza may be the best in town. When I reheated it, the crust was optimally crispy. I will eat here again, soon

They were pretty busy at around 5:30 on a Saturday evening and we were lucky enough to snag a table since they also take reservations and some were being held. The service was great, she gave us her recommendations and was very very patient while we all decided what plates to share. They give you some small plain bread knots when you sit down and had no problem, giving us a refill, even a side of marinara sauce for dipping when we asked. We started with the Caprese appetizer, which was fresh and delicious lightly, garnished with the balsamic glaze that sets the flavor off, not too overpowering. We shared three different pastas - the penne rustica, the shrimp and artichoke, and the pesto tortellini. The rustica was definitely the best, it had such a depth of flavor, and the sauce was a perfect rosé of creamy tomato, with the vegetables helping set off the textures and flavors even more. The other two pastas were good, but I wouldn't prioritize ordering them again, the pesto tortellini was so rich and creamy, but lacked any pesto flavor, which was surprising since it was vivid and green, and so visually appealing. The shrimp and artichoke was good, but didn't allow me, I felt like the artichoke needed more seasoning or something to bring it out a little in the sauce and pasta mix. The owner Nancy was such a sweetheart. She was so attentive and came over to us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Next time I'll be trying the Bolognese :)

We were in Denver for the weekend. An old friend (maybe I should say "longtime friend") picked us…read moreup and drove us uphill to Echo Lake, which was lovely. And on our way back down we came to The Little Bear Saloon. A friend of his was in a band playing there that night. There was a $10 cover, which is fine with me, it all goes to the band/bands. We got there at 7:30 and the band started at 7:30 so there wasn't any seating in the main room, where the band was playing (obviously this is common sense but it was how our schedule worked out). Don't worry, we got a booth in the next room and it was still plenty loud. Our server was great, funny, and made sure we had our needs met. The food: ok, it is not great food. My dining companions had burgers and pizza. I opted for a Greek salad as I had eaten an entire dish of pork belly at the Denver Zoo, I'll write that review separately, and I needed something that was not greasy. The salad, it wasn't a traditional Greek salad but I did definitely appreciate it. Since the rest of the menu is rather limited and mostly pizza and burgers, I didn't know if it would be good. I'm kind of picky about lettuce. It was good though and I ate every bite, and also a slice of my daughter's pizza. The food overall was not very special and I wouldn't recommend making a trip here just for the food. But since we hadn't made a special trip here for the food I'm not taking off any points for that! It's a fun environment; the bands, the maximalist decor, the signed photos from so, so many musicians and bands that have played there over the years. Plus nearly every inch of the wood has been carved with the initials or names or messages from customers. I spent some time looking but only scratched the surface (so to speak) of exploring it all. The women's bathroom was a little bizarre, and according to the guys in my group the men's was even stranger. Everything was clean and functional so that was good. We all had a great time. My daughter bought a sweatshirt. On the train back to Omaha the conductor smiled and said "oh, the Little Bear Saloon? That's in Evergreen, right? Oh, I know that place!" He chuckled. I'm going to bet that there are a lot of people who can chuckle at their memories of the Little Bear Saloon.

My 23-year-old daughter was refused service because staff claimed her valid Nevada driver's license was fake. We completely understand the importance of checking IDs and complying with liquor laws, but the way the situation was handled was unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. When I approached the bar to order a drink for myself and my daughter, I was largely ignored while staff discussed the situation amongst themselves. When my daughter presented her ID again, she was told it was fake because it did not pass a "flashlight test" and was sarcastically directed to a bar across the street that supposedly "accepts any IDs." What bothered us most was that multiple staff members openly discussed the situation in front of other customers and continued to watch and stare at our group throughout our visit. Rather than handling a concern privately and professionally, the interaction felt embarrassing, accusatory, and intentionally uncomfortable. If there was a legitimate concern about the ID, that would have been understandable. However, there is a professional way to address those concerns, and this was not it. The establishment itself has a lot of character, which is why we stopped in, but the customer service experience left such a negative impression that we will not be returning.
