I absolutely hate leaving reviews but I will when it's necessary. Every single time I have come to…read morethis McDonald's it's either disgusting or they mess something up or leave something out. Today just crossed the line. We are sick so we door dashed and got lil man (also sick) a happy meal. Imagine how upset this sick 5 year old boy was when he realized he didn't get his toy. The fries were unsalted and the buns were soggy which is better than moldy like we have received MULTIPLE times in the past. It all would have been easier to wash down had we gotten our drinks but at least little man got his drink. I hate leaving a bad review but I want change at this store. It's the closest McDonalds to us and it's not fair I have to go to Calverts store to get the best service and our foods cold by the time I get home.

I was rudely stopped at the door, by some guy. He did not identify himself as the manager, at that time. He told me I can't use coupons at this store. I said, then why would they mail them to me all the time? He kept talking over me. I had no idea the guy even worked there. I asked the clerk if he was telling me the truth and she nodded. So, I started looking up at their menu to see what full price was on a footlong and he started spouting off at me, saying "What, you think I'm lying to you!?" "I decided I didn't want to do my business there, after all, and said, "Yes, people lie all the time." And threw their flyer in the trash and walked out. As the door was closing, he hollered after me to not ever come back. He had no call to say that to me. I wasn't belligerent, until that moment. I went back in the door and told him that I will come and go as I please! That's when he identified himself as the manager and said HE decides who comes in his store. I said, "Then you need to be fired!" And left. There is no way to contact corporate and any attempt is blocked, on my phone AND by computer. Subway has really gone to the dogs! And I can see why there were NO customers at this store.

We were traveling I 24 and wanted something local instead of another chain restaurant. Parker's was…read moreexactly what we were looking for. I ordered the Double Bacon Cheeseburger, and it was enormous. The bacon was cooked perfectly, crispy without being overdone, and there was plenty of it. The toppings were fresh, the cheese was generous, and the burger was so big I couldn't finish it all. I wanted to, but it simply won the battle. One of the things that makes Parker's unique is the atmosphere. The walls are covered with horse racing memorabilia and photos. The owner is involved in horse racing, and the racing theme gives the restaurant a personality all its own. And don't leave without trying the ice cream. We had the soft serve, and it was absolutely delightful. It was the perfect finish to a great meal. This is the kind of classic American drive in that is becoming harder to find. Freshly prepared food, generous portions, local character, and a memorable experience. If you're passing through Paducah, Parker's is well worth getting off the interstate for. We'll definitely be back.
