In the past I've enjoyed Domino's thin crust. Pisanello's offers thin and thin crispy, so I ordered the crispy, which was less crispy than Domino's thin. Their cheese tastes okay, but there's not enough of it. Their pepperoni looked different than any I've ever seen--no color variation for flavorful fat; this is solid brown, perhaps healthier, but almost tasteless. The black olives were plentiful, which is the only reason they got 2 stars. Their driver was polite & pleasant; but for $28 w/tip for a 14" pizza, I really expected better.

Pepperoni was chard on every one we seen going out to tables. We were told that's how we make them. We picked them off. The last visit about a week ago was the most disappointing. We took my mother and aunt, they had never been. The atmosphere was weird on this Friday at 5p. Teens had seemed to move in to stay. Staff seemed to indulge them, rather than move them along. Again, no bourbon for an old fashioned and no gin. Skip the custom cocktail menu. Pizza and breadsticks are what they do best. Love the pizza crust!

A friend who lives in the area recommended this spot for dinner after I finished a shift working at…read moreCMU. We met up on a weekday around 5:30 and it was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The booth we sat in was comfy and spacious. The menu is pretty typical brewpub fare, with sandwiches, salads, pizzas, etc. We started with the Hunter's sticks, which are cheese stuffed breadsticks, served with ranch and marinara. These came out first and I liked that they were cut into pieces for easy sharing. The breadsticks were a bit harder than I might have preferred (I was hoping for something closer to a soft Bosco stick) but they were still tasty. The ranch was particularly delicious. For dinner I ordered the steakhouse salad, medium rare. Nate got the Cajun chicken club sandwich and our friend got a crispy chicken wrap. The sandwiches and wraps come with either chips or fries, and our server told us that there's no up charge for fries, which is nice and not that typical. This is also a brewery so Nate tried a couple of their beers and seemed to like them. They also have a full bar. The food was quite tasty! I liked the salad although it was pretty salty, probably the bleu cheese dressing. There was a generous amount of steak and it was cooked nicely. I had a couple bites of Nate's sandwich and I thought it had great flavor. Overall this is a nice neighborhood spot that I'd come back to, since their menu is pretty large and it seems like there's something for everyone.

As the 10 of us completed our arrival, our waitress Anna, continued to become more and more negative/rude. I approached the manager regarding this and he gave me the excuse they are busy. I mentioned Anna's poor attitude and was given the excuse, again, it's busy. The whole restaurant only had 7 other tables. Receiving our food order took 30+ minutes. I ordered the artichoke dip as an appetizer and the chips were stale. Anna took so long to return that the dip was cold, our food was finally being delivered, where I sent the plate back. She tried to charge me for the dip, and when I told her to take it off my tab, she said she had to ask her manager. Needless to say no one from our party will be returning.
