I used the drive thru at this location. The orange chicken and the fried rice were both fresh and cooked properly. I had half for dinner & the rest for lunch the next day (small appetite). It was great from the microwave on day 2, which is how I know the rice was made fresh the first day. Fried rice is fine to microwave once, but 2 or more times & it gets hard & crunchy. Service was quick. I didn't go inside this time, but every other Panda I've visited was spotlessly clean inside the restaurant. read more

They put so much cabbage in the low mien! It's so gross. There is barely any noodles.

What a shit hole. Spicy OrangeChicken, chow mein, fried rice. Spicy chicken is burnt, chow mein is like straw and as dry, fried rice no flavor at all. A bunch of college kids waiting on you, didn't listen to what is ordered, just dump your order all together and out the door it goes. read more

I usually order the Walnut shrimp which cost an extra 5 or so dollars. The last few times the order is not filled to the top . So I am paying extra for the shrimp and receiving less than the other pints. This has happened to me a few times I did let the employees know once but I guess telling them didn't make a difference because my last order of shrimp was not a full order. In the pictures below you can see the difference in the amount given for the chicken in comparison to the shrimp. Both were purchased in the same order. read more

I decided to try it again and they fall short again. Ordered the beef and broccoli, chicken and green beans, and a side order of friend rice. Drove 30 minutes home to find 3 pieces of beef in with the broccoli and the smallest pieces of chicken close to almost rice size. Spent $25.00 for this food. Done with this place forever. read more

They close their doors an hour early and you will wait forever in the drive thru for them to respond if you go late. Almost as if they are waiting for you to leave. Very poor professionalism. read more

I just stopped by. An hour and a half before closing and the only thing they have is orange chicken. Why is this location cleaning as if the store is about to close in the next 5 minutes when they still have 1 1/2 hours before they close for the night? read more

This Panda Express is disgusting, unprofessional, and definitely unsanitary. My chow mein tasted like they had used dirty grease from the fryer, the fried rice is dry and flavorless, and my egg rolls were overcooked. I have no clue what they do in there but it's not okay. read more

The chicken entree was hot and tasted good but the rice was a little stale. We asked for a bigger plate which usually has two entrees in the big plate and one in a separate container. They asked if they could just put it in the one container and we said that was fine. We ended up paying for the bigger plate but only getting the two servings. There was less rice than normal as well. read more

Everything I have gotten has been fresh, hot and very delicious. Service is quick, even in the drive thru during COVID.

Had a pick up order get home to not even a single pack of soy sauce and not even teriyaki sauce for teriyaki chicken not teriyaki chicken without the teriyaki sauce. Egg rolls were burnt and the broccoli beef had literally 2 very tiny pieces of beef. Will not return to this location ever again read more

So I had heard a lot of buzz about Panda Express and they finally put one in Mount Pleasant. With inconsistent full serve Chinese food becoming the norm, I decided to give it a try. You get a LOT of food for the two entree price. That was nice. Soda prices quite high, as were the bigger (two and three entree) meals, but overall, this is consistent and you know what you will get. The only problem is most of it is very sweet, and your options are quite limited. But it's clean and fast, so you give up some option and pricing for a clean and quick meal. read more

Usually enjoy Chinese food however recently my orders have been completely messed up and tasteless. Will start going elsewhere

i got chx teriyaki and rangoons and everything was dandy until i got home and there was no teriyaki sauce on the chicken so i was like ok maybe it's in a cup separate but it wasn't ??? so that was annoying & tbh don't feel like driving back so i'm having soy sauce chicken and rice cus dude at the window asked if i wanted soy sauce or the sweet n sour and i was like yea soy so i got the soy but what about my teriyaki sauce man why does the world hate me i just wanted to have some teriyaki chicken but y'all gave me just chicken read more

I don't know which employee was worse when I visited the Mount Pleasant Panda Express, Wednesday evening, April 13: Jeannie, who rolled her eyes at me and walked away or Dave, who argued with me about the coupon I earned by completing the survey. I completed the requirements of the coupon as stated on the back: In front of me was two Plates, one of which I treated as if it was a Bowl. The free entrée, however, made it into a Plate. The previous week this was entirely accepted when I paid. But this week, Dave was having none of it and called last week's coworker "stupid" for having done it that way. Although I methodically explained what I did according to the coupon, Dave continued to escalate the situation in front of a crowded restaurant, which embarrassed me. I stopped caring about the whole situation and said "do whatever the hell you have to do." I paid and left. In Dave's defense he did give me an even deeper discount which only made me angrier because I wasn't trying to get more than the coupon said I could have. I simply wanted it to be fair. Either don't offer this incentive, rephrase the wording on the coupon or train your employees accordingly. I doubt I'll be back. read more

Rude customer service! I have been a long time fan of panda express in other places, and i have been looking forward to the opening of this location since i moved here.. But i had a pretty bad experience on my first visit to this particular location. I had a coupon for 1 free entree with purchase of 2-entree-plate they distributed at my apartments, so i had intended to use it. The item i wanted as my free entree was out at the time and they were making it. 2 new loads of it came from kitchen, but i was not served, while patrons who came after me kept getting served. I tried to get the waitress' attention by saying "Ma'am.." and she rudely tells me "IF YOU WANT FREE FOOD, YOU SHOULD WAIT". What. I have never heard such rude comments from a business establishment in US. Most disappointing. read more

I come here because First Wok hasn't been open due to Covid, even though this place is much closer to my home. Good food, but the portions are nothing compared to the other Chinese food places. $10 and I'm still hungry after I just ate. And this is the second time they've messed up my order, the first time they forgot 1/2 portions of Kung Pao Chicken, but they gave me a full replacement order, one entree for the one they shorted me and another one for my trouble since I asked for it. This time they forgot the walnuts in my honey walnut shrimp. It's divine with the walnuts, just so-so without them. Wish they would get my order right, I don't like having to call and go back. read more

I ordered on the website for pickup a large plate with broccoli beef, Beijing beef and the steak and shrimp, with half rice and noodles. They still make you go through the drive through so the pickup option is useless upon picking up my meal they gave me Teriyaki chicken and broccoli beef and full rice, they said we were out of beef. If they were out of beef then how did I get my beef and broccoli, and they still charged me the extra buck 50 for the steak and shrimp. I'm looking at the other reviews and they claim that the manager is cheap and stops cooking after 8 so they just give you what they have. I've been to 4 different panda expresses and this one is truly awful, honestly the worst fast food place I've ever had the misfortune of eating at, it gives the rest a bad name the one in midland is phenomenal read more

Manager is cheap puts rice under all your meat so yah get less. They are also rude after 8 and offer you what they have.

(Review transferred from Zomato, formerly Urbanspoon. Original visit January 2nd, 2016) My first (and likely ONLY) visit was interesting, in a bad way. When I was in line to order I took the photos you see posted here. While taking these the lady, who I'm assuming is the manager or owner yelled at me, "NO PHOTOS!'. Everybody in line just looked around with faces that said, "Is she for real?!?" She told me if I didn't like it I could contact corporate, and that is exactly what I did. I mean in this age where 99.999% of business encourage and even reward posting photos on social media, why would Panda Express, which is like the Burger King of Asian food, choose to BAN taking photos? I emailed them 4 days ago and have not heard back yet. I will update this when I do. Anyway, the food was underwhelming in it's own right. The Rangoons had ZERO flavor. I have never left a Rangoon uneaten until I had these. The sauce was sickeningly sweet. The Chow Mein had no flavor other than wok oil. The Orange Chicken was edible, but just off. The Pepper Chicken was OK, but the celery and onions were undercooked and in too large of a quantity compared to the chicken. So, in short, mediocre food and sketchy policies aren't earning my business. UPDATE: I got a response back from Panda Express Corporate. They basically said she is a liar: "Hi Mitchell, Thank you for sharing your recent experience at the Panda Express in Mount Pleasant, MI. I do apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused you and do appreciate your intentions. Photography of our establishments and meals are generally acceptable at our locations, so long as photos are not capturing our associates. However, management does reserve the rights to ask guests to not take photos at their discretion. I hope this helps clarify. Again, thank you for sharing your experience with us. Thank you again for the feedback.Sincerely, Maria V.Guest Relations Panda Restaurant Group, Inc" Also, my wife went through the drive through back in August to pick up some food at her mothers request. Stopped in for a late lunch. To our dismay the big bowls where empty of several items. Spoke to the manager and complained. She took our order to the cooks and got us what we wanted. Pretty much what you'd expect. The food is ok, kind of like Dragon - hit or miss - the chicken egg roll tastes terrible and they forgot to give me my crab rangoons. Best Orange Chicken! I love this restaurant in other locations and I am glad it's finally in MP!

Always greeted with a smile. Great food. I like how fresh it can taste. I find the orange chicken to be my favorite.

It is definitely Not Chinese food and tastes really horrible although it is dressed up like a Chinese restaurant.None of the chefs are Chinese. The food tastes worst than McDonald's or other junk food restaurants. At least when you walk into a junk food restaurant, you expect junk food and pay as little as you can. For authentic good Chinese food, I highly recommend First Wok or Great Wall. Not Panda Express in Mt Pleasant. read more

The food is out of this country. The portion sizes are huge, they give you so much orange chicken! The floors taste really clean... Since the floors are new. The staff could be a little more diverse. I didn't even see 1 Chinese person... Kinda weird. The atmosphere is a mix between hipster and electric China. The vibe is so hot. I reccommend this place to anyone who is trying to find a Chinese lover. I found mine at the grand opening. Oh... And... Fuck the manager That guy sucks!!! read more
