In town to see family and wondering what to eat --- group consensus Chinese take out. The various dishes we had were really good! Portions were huge - we ordered 3 quarts and 3 egg rolls for 4 adults and had plenty left. Next time we will go for pints. The shrimp egg rolls were crunchy with plenty of filling and a bit of spice ... a good start and highly recommend them!! The main dishes were Pork Friend Rice, Kung pao chicken and General TSU chicken. The rice was pretty good, moist, with small pieces of pork. The next two KP and GTSU were both full of flavor, lots of meat and small cut vegi's. Your basic Chinese but tasty, not too much msg and lots to go around. For choices in Alma I think the Great Wall is a good choice. There maybe more selection in Mt Pleasant, but for us this was a close convenient choice. read more

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. They are the only one I know that makes Crab meat fried rice.... which I love. We always get lots of their Crab Rangoon as well. Another favorite is the Pepper Steak....yum! If you haven't tried it yet, you should!! I just wish they delivered. They used to be on Door Dash, but I don't see them anymore. read more

Being in a really small town is unusual in terms of the amount of restaurants to choose from. I'm from Phoenix and when I need a fix of some Asian grub I just drive on over to my usual "pho" spot. The Great Wall will have to suffice for my "fix". The place has 3 tables and the customer service was prompt and conscientious. My friend and I order the General Tso's Chicken combo (comes w/ pork friend rice, and an egg roll), Hot & Sour Soup, & the Sweet and Sour Chicken. For the price and amount of food we received, it was worth every penny! The food was tasty and I would definitely come back to keep my "fix" in control. read more

No table service so order at the counter like the Chinese place in the mall food court. The problem is the mall food court allows you to change your mind. I love this restaurant. I will stop in Alma just to get some take out to take home in midland. Their pork eggrolls are the best around. I also recommend their Mushu pork which is served the traditional with the thin pancakes. Their menu has a decent variety on it but I always end up tending to order the same dishes just because I like them so much. When I have ventured away from old standbys I have always been pleasantly surprised with the new palette experience. Above all the food is always fresh and if you had 15 minutes to spare you could watch them cook the entire thing in front of you. I thought about holding a star back because of the very spartan dine in facilities but it would be unfair to them, as I see it they are essentially a carry out restaurant and most people will likely treat it as such. read more

This place is amazing! Their food is GREAT and they have the best egg rolls I have ever had. Their staff is very friendly and they always remember who I am. I once ordered my food by phone. Shortly after hanging up, I opened my wallet and realized that I was out of money until the next day. As I went to call them back, they called me to let me know my food was ready. I felt terrible as I explained to her my situation. She actually let me go get the food and pay for it the next day! That definitely doesn't happen very often. They have definitely won my allegiance. Been here a good amount of times to say that the food is consistent. The selection never changes, but the quality is still the same. They seem to keep only one waitress on hand at a time, so I feel bad for her when a rush comes, but she is very fast and attentive. How can you beat $7 all you can eat Chinese food? read more
