Staff was nice. Food was ok, but I wasn't wowed. My spare ribs came out almost refrigerator cold with a few warm spots. I sent it back. The staff was good with that. When they sent it back it was hot but smaller (maybe because it cooked down). They tasted good. My main dish was appropriate temperature and tasted fine but it wasn't anything special. Highlight was really the waitstaff

tough market in a minority chinese region. glad to have a local chef able to prepare more traditional Chinese dishes. unfortunately that also restricts the menu to more regional preferences. i picked two quick known chinese dish, temperature and portion was good, hope to add more traditional dishes on menu

A new sit-down Chinese restaurant! It's been a week since their opening, and we think they are doing well. By 6 pm there was a 20 min wait - on a Thursday. Fast and efficient servers. Almost too fast, we just got our appetizer, and out came the dinners! BTW, the crab Rangoon actually had crab in it. Nice. And tho the menu said 4 pcs, our plate had 6. The entrees were served hot, and they were generous portions. My Shrimp with Vegetables had 10 huge shrimp in it!!! Nice ambiance. We hope this place is a success!

This review is based on the one dish I got which was the eggplant. Phenomenal! This dish was definitely elevated Chinese Food. Eggplant can be tough to master and find in a restaurant made really well and this was exceptional IMHO. I would come again and again just for this dish but am looking forward to trying more items from the menu! The chef is an award winning chef and based on my happy taste buds today I would say I can see why. I was a bit skeptical this was going to just be overpriced chinese food but the food tasted like fine dining. My only complaint is the $1 fee many of the chinese restaurants in Mount Pleasant are implementing for using credit cards. Otherwise really quick/attentive service! Also the portion was substantial. I ate 80% of it but still had leftovers!

My favorite Chinese in Mount Pleasant. Be sure to try the dumplings. There is a lot variety and flavor. Enjoy! Service is always good.

The complementary wine when we were seated was also a nice touch. Not sure if it was a lambrusco but it was very sweet like a more sophisticated grape juice with a slightly carbonated taste; definitely a crowd pleaser, even for those that don't like wine. The Lunch Duos with unlimited bread sticks and choice of unlimited salad or soup was a pretty good deal for the food, though I have to say you're paying more for the soup /salad than the actual entrée. Grilled Vegetable & Cheese Piadina - essentially a American Italian inspired quesadilla. Pretty tasty but also pretty small. Hubby had to supplement it with 3 bowls of soup to feel satisfied. Would get again. Zoodles Primavera - Definitely a dish that is trying to hard to be healthy. Was expecting something light and refreshing with all the veggies but the excessive amount of oil and seasoning kind of killed it. Would not get again.

It was COVERED IN THE SAUCE and im the type of person to mix things and look at what I eat and I'm glad I did. I ordered the seafood scallop pasta and there was a COMPLETELY RAW SCALLOP in my bowl mixed in with everything. We reported to the manager, which was the same exact MANAGER WITH PINK HAIR on both occasions of raw food. I'm not blaming the manager specifically but something is not being watched properly or supervised properly. WOULD NOT GO HERE CHECK YOUR FOOD IF ITS FULLY COOKED.

Overall a good experience Food was good and lots of…read moreoptions. Food didn't take too long but you do need to wait a moment. May be faster if you are only getting soup. The space is small and seating was a bit cramped. I wouldn't cone with more than 3 people max if you are hoping to be able to sit. But great if you want to grab it and head home. Shop was very loud due to the small space, music playing and people talking but thats expected. For me the cost seemed a bit high. The sandwiches just come on a standard size bread you would make at home and most of the options are just various ways to make a grilled cheese. And while they taste good, they are still $10 or more for a grilled cheese. Same for the soups, they taste good and lots of choices but for the small (12oz) you are still paying $8 or more. Which means even for just a standard grilled cheese and tomato soup you are spending $18 or more so it feels a bit expensive at that point. I had a Ruben (on standard sized bread) and a pastrami soup for $23. Also, no real need to upgrade for a $1 for the roll to come with your soup. Not really anything special about it. But again overall it did taste good on a cold day. Just which the cost was slightly lower and seating didn't feel cramped.

I was craving a grilled cheese and some soup recently so I ordered a pickup order from Uncle…read moreCheetah's Soup Shop. Their menu includes 10+ different soups each day, as well as several sandwiches and some salads. I ordered the garage sale: white cheddar, fresh mozz, rosemary goat mousse, havarti, and swiss on challah. I also got the steak and mushroom soup and the snert soup for Nate. When I arrived my order was waiting for me - it was nicely packaged and secure so everything was safely contained for my short drive home. The sandwich wasn't very melty, I ended up heating it up in a pan myself which helped. It was super tasty, though! I love the combination of cheeses. The steak and mushroom soup was really good, with chunks of meat in a creamy broth. The snert soup was very salty! The menu description indicated the snert soup should have sausage or kielbasa in it, but we didn't notice any. The restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating, but I'd probably just order there next time. You can also get samples.

The soup selection (unsurprisingly enough) is definitely the most interesting, and they have six soups that rotate daily, which I love, since I hate getting the same old unless it's the ultimate comfort food. They also let you sample soups, which I don't think I've ever experienced, but I'm such a fan. I've sampled the tomato bisque so far, which is solid, and actually had orders of the lobster bisque and the New England clam chowder. The soups come with an order of bread - French or multigrain - and all the soups I've had are good. I probably won't dream of these soups (or any of their other foods) but that's okay. I've also had their chicken toscana sandwich, which was good. Seems like all their food has a good threshold of quality, and the value is pretty fair. I've also tried the cranberry almond sonoma salad - a half salad is a healthy portion, and I like their ability to mix and match soups, salads, and sandwiches for a nice variety. Zoup! knows its model and is doing it well. I also like that they have the nutritional value of all their foods online, and in person, which is helpful for anyone who wants to be more health-conscious.
