My mom and I come to this restaurant a lot. She's getting older and doesn't get around easily, so I usually drive her to different places to try out different foods. We used to go to China Garden Restaurant all the time, but now it's moved nearby and is called China Master. Her favorite dish here is Egg Foo Young, and she always asks for the sauce on the side. We've been coming for over 18 years--at least once a month. Sometimes we get Chicken Chow Mein, which is hard to find these days since a lot of places don't serve it anymore. I like seafood more, so I ordered the Seafood Triple Delight. The shrimp were big, the scallops just melted in your mouth, and the squid was nicely curled and super tender. It's one of my favorite dishes. We really enjoyed the meal. The server was really friendly and treated us like family. We're used to it by now, and it definitely made my mom happy. read more

School's out for the summer, so I came home from out of state and got to spend some time with my mom. My younger brother's still in high school here, and Dad was thrilled to have us all together. He took us to a local restaurant he likes to go to with friends. It was my first time there. We ordered pan-fried pork pot stickers, steamed shrimp dumplings, and three main dishes: House Spicy Crispy Beef, Szechuan Seafood Triple Delight, and the House Special Combo. Everything was fresh and delicious. It was a busy weekend, so we waited about 30 minutes, and dinner took around 70 minutes--pretty reasonable. Mom was happy she didn't have to cook, and I loved the place--it was lively but not noisy, clean with wooden floors. Before we left, we took a family photo in front of a picture of Chef Jan to remember the evening. read more

oday's my birthday, and I went out with my mom to celebrate at an Asian restaurant--it's one of my favorite places. Since I'm back in my hometown, the place was packed, and we waited about h 30 minutes for a table. The restaurant looks nice, clean, and the atmosphere is good. Mom and I each ordered what we like--I always go for dishes that are sweet, sour, and a little spicy. I was especially happy today because I had the best dish of my life (House Spicy Crispy Beef). The food was amazing, fresh, and the portion was huge. I had such a good appetite that I finished the whole thing. Overall, I was really happy to enjoy such a delicious dinner. My mom also had a great time, and I'm thankful to God for blessing me with such a loving mother. read more

I recently visited a popular Chinese restaurant that a friend recommended, and it didn't disappoint. The interior was clean and stylish, with awards and photos of the chef on display, creating a classy first impression. I ordered the Spicy Gulf Jumbo Shrimp, the chef's signature dish. The shrimp were perfectly cooked with a delicious mix of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors, served over garlic-sautéed spinach--absolutely tasty. For dessert, I had the fried banana, which was crispy, warm, and satisfying. Great food, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere--I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely return. read more

This is a fantastic Chinese restaurant, run by Taiwanese immigrants. I know about it through a local news report. After exploring the surroundings, my family found the restaurant clean, spacious, and bright. We walked into this famous chef's restaurant for dinner. Luckily, we were seated quickly at a large round table. Our family of five was comfortably seated. I ordered the sesame chicken, which featured tender chicken in a special sauce and a side of vegetables. It was delicious, though a bit spicy, which was manageable for me. Everyone was very satisfied. It was a truly worthwhile trip. read more

I went during Chinese New Years, as it was one of the most popular Chinese restaurants in the area. I got seated rather quickly and ordered the Chef special Sesame chicken Szechuan Style! It was sweet, sour and spicy. It was very delicious. This was my second visit to China master, and I will be returning! I enjoyed the delicious dishes very much. read more

As a picky eater, I am always hesitant to try a new restaurant. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I loved it. I am normally neutral on Crab Rangoons, but these were the best we have ever had. I wished I had gotten a whole plate of them. We got a lot of food for what we paid, which is always a plus. The flavors are richer and deviate some from other Chinese restaurants. It made it feel less Americanized, and it was clear that the chef was skilled. The service was great, and I loved the way the restaurant was decorated. read more

Ive been craving good chinese food since moving to mid-michigan and none so far have quite hit the mark... until i wandered into china master. Played it safe for a first time visit and got the combination plate. I tend to judge based on fried rice and it was absolutely fantastic- the flavor had depth instead of just tasting like a sodium bomb and the texture was just perfect. Also had the wonton soup and the broth was absolutely delicious. Cant wait to come again and try the other things on the menu! read more

After visiting relatives and friends, we went to this Asian restaurant (the dining room was very warm). The waiter was very kind and recommended us to order a vegetarian dish - Eggplant with Garlic Sauce! My mother ordered the house spicy crispy beef. The eggplant was very tender and tasted great. She said that the beef was fragrant and crispy, with a little spice to it. It was just right and I was very happy and enjoyed a wonderful dinner with my mother after a long day! read more

I've never had better duck than this restaurant. The Szechuan Spicy Duck, has just the right amount of saltiness and spiciness, and the meat is fragrant, crispy, and tender. It's truly delicious. The delicious sauce is incredibly flavorful, and the assorted fresh vegetables paired with it whet my appetite. I hope I'll have the chance to return to this small town. I envy the people who live here; they're truly blessed. read more

Last year, when I visited my daughter, I dined at China Master. This year, my daughter is on vacation, so she came to New York to see me and brought back some of my favorite Dim-sum from China Master. They were still delicious! I reheated the steamed buns in my electric rice cooker, and they tasted much better than the ones I bought in New York. The chef's skills are truly superb; I wanted to share this with everyone read more

Chef's Dim Sum specials are a must try. Handmade in house steamed buns are so delicious that you want to get an extra order to take home. Chinese crispy cakes were also great. I had red bean ones. Freshly handmade scallion pancake was tasty and crispy just the way I like it. I also tried Kung Po Jumbo shrimp with fresh bite size vegetables and I love the sauce. read more
