This is NOT the papa johns of old - they are now the most expensive pizza place around, and definitely has poor toppings. We ordered double everything - some toppings were not even on the pizza. This Papa John's managed to give my entire family food poisoning, and that's not an exaggeration. The pizza tasted off--like something was straight-up wrong with it--but we stupidly ate it anyway. So ordered 15 pizzas for Saturday called the store and let them know. Let them know when the party time was at told them I couldn't have them delivered early because it was in a park and I didn't want the pizza cold and the manager said OK so what happens they get delivered very early and very cold already so when I call the store I get attitude so I called customer service. They have the store call me five times and give me a hard time about calling them. First they offer. I will give you a free pizzas. No, I don't wanna go back to Papa John's well we're not giving you a refund. I said well can you have the district manager call me no that isn't gonna happen so it's very frustrating. Call back to customer service and they give you an attitude about having a district manager call you. I'm not sure I wanna give business to a company that acts like this cause I order a lot of pizzas all the time. And I'm not sure who was calling me. Was quite bummed this evening when we got our delicious pizza home and it was not cut at all whatsoever. I mean yes we can cut it but it so much easier and better when we can set the box on the table let the full family table take whatever slice they want and start to grub. Don't order from this store if you actually want to eat. Our pizza took 2 hours to get to our house, and had been out of the oven for more than an hour before it was delivered. (Thanks to their online order tracker). The pizza was cold, and old when it got here. Kinda like it had been sitting in a box for an hour. I ordered a pizza from this PJ franchise recently and it was cold when delivered, additionally not made according to my online order. Unfortunately today, only out of lack of other choices, I tried it again. Calling, immediately, to double check my online order, the square cut I ordered was not on their instructions and, although the woman told me it was now in the oven, (although I called within 30 seconds after I ordered it) and there was no way they could now change the order, as it did not show the square cut instruction. Pizza was two hours late and when I called the manager said we only have two drivers tonight. But when you look at the receipt it said the pizza left the restaurant at 7:59 and it was brought to my house till 8:41. Nothing in Brighton takes 40 minutes to drive to. Completely ridiculous. read more

I live kind of out in the country and they always get here promptly. Never had any probably and I consider a bit of a stickler.

Management is bad. Every time I go in it always seems as if there's no one ordering and I can tell why. All the employees look so sad and moppy I only suspect that it is because of the management. I can't imagine these poor workers even enjoying something as fun as making a pizza. Most employees I see in the store are always 2 and I never see any delivery drivers on the street. I feel sickened and I have never eaten food from Papa John's. To be curt, I don't think that I ever will. Especially after my latest encounter with a delivery driver from this store on the road. If the quality of their product matches the quality of their delivery drivers' driving, then I would not go near one of their pizzas with a ten foot pole. I never write reviews, but I have to say, I absolutely love this location. Everyone is so nice and polite there. So rare these days!! We probably order once a week and our pizza arrives to our door hot and fresh every time. Delivery drivers are really cool too!! We just moved to the area and we never like Papa John's until now.
