Well well well!!!!!! I have to say if anyone has ever had a burger from this place they will understand what I'm talking about. I found this hidden gem on Yelp, needless to say it was right around the corner where I was working. Nothing. It good reviews and when I would drive by it was packed and a line of people. So I decided to make the call and ordered from the phone, which I would suggest you do. I ordered the big daddy double bacon cheese burger combo. Not thinking much cause photos never do things justice. And well the menu that I saw on Yelp looked like a usual burger. Boy oh boy was I wrong and I mean I was wrong. When I got my order and was back in my vehicle ready to devour my food. I pulled this 1 pound burger out of my bag and was astonished!!!!! I'm thinking what in the wide world of sports did I order???!!! Well I was munching on my fries oh and yes the fried mushrooms on my way back to my job site. Then I decide to eat my burger, after looking at the beauty of it and just thinking wow this thing is huge!!!! I hope this thing taste as good as it looks!!! Well then I took a bite............ I found out about this place from a co-worker and had high hopes .but after the big daddy double with fries & onion rings this is my first and probably the last time here ..the meat portion was more than most places but the cheese looked like it was spead on the bun rather than melted on the meat .and the veggies were very skimpy the lettuce was under the meat so it turned to slime .the fries were 50/50 some were awesome cooked perfect and some hard to chew like they sat under a heat lamp to long .the onion rings homemade kind of doughy and no taste..if i were in brighton i might try this again just to see if they were having an off day .but i would not drive from Denver like today to find out .. read more

This place has always tempted me as I see it on Yelp anytime I look for some new eats in my neck of the woods. So today I went out of my way and found it. First impression, Meh. This walk up burger shack is just that, a walk up burger shack. They appear to do a pretty good volume of business during the lunch hour so I figured it can't be bad. I ordered a #1 combo which included a Big Daddy cheese burger, fries and a drink for $6.55, not bad. The service was rather slow, probably because nothing is pre-made, a plus. The burger was decent, rather big at ~6" the fixin's were weak and the bun was commercial. The fries were okay, but had been previously frozen. Thus I think Big Daddy's is as three stars describes, A-OK. Nothing more, nothing less. read more

This year I started off with the ultimate "foodie" goal of sushi and pizza. Well this time I inquired my taste buds into something more interesting and fun. This particular burger joint is family owned and business friendly. They caught my eye while traveling to get errands done all in the West side of Denver. I said goodbye to Denver and hello to Brighton. This burger joint is fresh. This burger joint is vintage, it's been here forever. I had trouble finding parking, as this mini restaurant is located right next to a gas station. Burgers here range pricing from $2.00 burgers to $12.00 max. I chose the Big Daddy Burger $4.52 but it changed to an ultimate combo with fries and drinks to a total of $9.81. Not bad. They don't accept card to charge, but they do accept cash and they carry a mini ATM where you can swipe your payment. With an additional withdrawal fee of a little over a dollar, the staff will pay your difference with cash. My burger was pretty wide and awesome. The patty bun was powdery and soft and really tasty. The burger kept me full for a whole day ! Best part is it wasn't greasy. Check it out. read more

A delapidated paint peeled, dirty looking rundown shack on the side of the road at a dusty dirty gas station intersection. Inside the shack looks just as dirty as the outside. A tarp hanging at the front of the broken down wooden hut shows you your options, all over priced. The fry serving was skimped inside a tiny cheap paper thin fry holder bag. I got the most,expensive meal 14 dollars. Served by dirty looking people to match the run down shack, very weary but wanted to big it a shot cuz it had a cool name. Thet burger was quite large but tasted cheap, the beef used was cheap along with the condiments and ingredients like they bought everything at a dollar tree or 99 cent store.
