I got the 6" single cheese with everything: fresh shredded lettuce, tomato, a big ring of raw onion, pickles, and mustard on a soft, golden bun. The 4" single is a nice size if you're not starving. The chili cheese fries with red chili came piled high with cheddar and jack, hearty and messy in the best way. The regular fries and onion rings were crisp and golden, and both the vanilla and strawberry shakes were thick and creamy. Two combos with shakes came to about $26, which is a solid value these days. Order at the counter, grab a red tray, and settle in. Friendly staff, quick service, and a place you can bring the whole family. Als, it has 50's music being played. I'll be back. They offer a 6 inch burger, that is huge! And so many different flavors of milkshakes! I was a little confused with how the combos worked so I accidentally ended up ordering a 6 inch single patty burger with a fry and a vanilla milkshake. These 6 inch burger is massive! I definitely should've got the standard 4 inch burger but with two patties. That would've been the same price that I paid for the 6 inch. The burger was juicy and not too greasy! The fries were crispy and great for dipping in my vanilla milkshake! I asked the cashier if she liked a particular milkshake and she gave me an honest answer instead of just trying to sell me a milkshake! I was appreciative of that. I will definitely be going back to try a different milkshake flavor and burger size haha

I absolutely love their Delphia Slam (and their regular Philly Cheese Steak sandwich is great,…read moretoo). You can order it with mild, hot or mixed peppers and I always go for the mixed. Their other sub sandwiches are also good but I consider the Delphia Slam to be the pinnacle of sub sandwiches (and I'm a meatball sub fanatic). I skip the pickles because I find them distracting and they are always happy to customize like that. This isn't like some big chain sandwich shops. You order at the counter but they bring the food to your table. The tables are only so-so but this is a small, low-cost shop and a lot of their business is take-out. I used to eat there often but since I moved north of Lyons, I I am only able to eat there when I have other errands in the same area because its well over an hour's drive from home. I miss them.

One side of the menu is breakfast only! The gravy was thick, an uncomfortable uncooked thick. I wouldn't personally recommend anything with the gravy, though the biscuit and the sausage were great. You could definitely tell the gravy was either reheated, or uncooked just because of how thick it was. My boyfriend ended up actually getting food poisoning from it, I bake consistently and eat a lot of uncooked flour/ rue so it didn't do a lot to me, but definitely did make me sick. End result, really wouldn't recommend. Haven't tried anything else but the two biscuits and gravies, so that's where the hope comes with the first star. Hopefully everything else is good. The service was great though, the lady was patient with me and our food came quickly (but that's where my possibly reheated gravy theory comes in) was it was too soon because it was reheated, and everything else was quickly made? It's very cute and cozy in there, if you want to look for a home like area.

I was hoping for some Asian flair based on some of the decor, but no such luck on the menu. However, everything we had was very good. I got the spuds burrito, which was basically hashbrowns in a tortilla with cheese, Swiss cheese on top and green chile smothered. The green chile half and half was spicy- I might go mild next time. It was good, but my husbands biscuits and gravy were significantly better. The biscuit was yeasty and tasted homemade, the white gravy was flavorful, with sausage patties underneath. I would order that again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend, and we will absolutely be back now that we have found another good local place for breakfast.
