    Chicken Pesto Pop

We came to PANINIK on a Saturday for lunch and the trucks around were some closed some opened, but parking was ample and PANINIK was one of the few trucks opened at that time. Very friendly owners, ordering was easy and since there were a few people in front of us, there was a little wait to get our food - no big deal. There's a lawn dart board in front of the truck in case you get bored while waiting - very thoughtful of them. We ordered the Chicken Pesto Pop and the Chimi Beast. The Pesto sandwich was very good - crunchy bread with buttery pesto. The flavors and textures worked very well together. My husband liked the Chimi Beast okay, but he had had the Morta-What in the past and liked that better. Each order also comes with a mini bag of regular Lays. We also got the berry juice without added sugar and that was good, too. Overall, we really enjoyed the quick experience, the owners were so friendly and kind, gave us sample juice and free chocolate.

This place is located inside the Hamilton food truck area. You can turn into the park and find a space in there or park outside in the alley. We came here for Paninik and I was disappointed. Maybe it was an off day for them because the sandwiches weren't that good. We got the chimichurri sausage one and the chimichurri was old, there was barely any arugula. The breakfast croissant was better but it didn't stand out at all. They have a breakfast deal for $8 and orange juice before 11am so I can see how people might go for that however, I wouldn't come here again.

The food truck park here is really having a moment; there was maybe 3 trucks there but now it's gotten a lot more trailers and a variety of them. Paninik is one of the more recent additions that's helping with its glow-up. I was having lunch when Mr. Paninik, came by with samples of a smoothie. I was impressed enough that I went back for breakfast. I ended up getting a pressed breakfast panini-croissant and a cannoli croissant. I usually like the savories but the cannoli croissant with the nutella was the better choice. I went back to try their 'smashburger panini' but it was so popular that he was out. I ended up getting the Chimi-beast and the Pesto. My friend ended up wanting the chicken add-on too and he just put it on there without the upcharge. He even threw in some Ferreros to apologize for the wait, which wasn't even that bad. The time I was waiting though he was giving out free tastes to folks and even gave some free sodas to regulars. I enjoyed my chimichurri and sausage sandwich, pressed just right with a nice tang while my friend exclaimed how GREAT the sandwich was and how the pesto was delicious. Definitely a return for lunch.

This food truck is awesome!! I originally came to this lot to grab a coffee from Dame but I ended up getting lunch here as well and I'm so happy I did! The owner here is fantastic and super passionate about his food so I was really excited to try it. I ended up getting the spicy Moroccan tuna melt which came with some potato chips and a Ferrero Rocher and it was fantastic. Definitely oily but so so good. I am super excited to come back again sometime in the morning and get a croissantwich. Such a cute spot with great seating too!

So friendly and informative! I was lucky enough to visit while they were sharing samples of some test items which they paired with authentic Moroccan tea!! The sample experience had me hooked to try whichever was most popular which was the Morta-What. They travel around town but at this location there was plenty of room to enjoy my panini and free chips! Unfortunately due to time I was not able to enjoy the picnic area but they threw in an extra chocolate candy! I'm looking forward to coming earlier in the day for their breakfast & exploring what more they have to offer!

The lady that made my Angus Roast Beef Swiss Melt was very sweet. She gave me a chocolate and fresh orange juice sample while I waited. The area the food truck is located is nice and shady- lots of picnic tables and pet friendly. As far as the food goes, it was delicious and freshly made! 5 stars for me :)

I've been to PaniniK three times in the past week and have loved the food so much that I now write this review I was met by kindness and hospitality from the persons working the truck. The first sandwich I had was the Chimi Beast. A panini with a juicy quarter pound of Halal beef sitting on a bed of fresh spinach on beautifully toasted panini bun with a tangy bleu cheese, and fantastically balanced chimichurri sauce. I took my first bite and felt like I was transported to a higher plane of existence. It was almost as though the chefs had imparted all of their knowledge through ascended masters to the hands of the chef. I tasted every aspect of each morsel and savored it all I paired heavenly sandwich with some Moroccan Tea which was perfectly brewed and not overly sweet with a delightful spring of mint leaves. Well balanced and extremely delightful. I enjoyed the experience so much I wanted to make certain it was not a fluke, I came on a different day at a different time. I was met with great hospitality and I ordered a completely different sandwich and went for the complete opposite end of the spectrum ordering the Fat Vegan Pesto Panini. I am a meat eater so this was definitely a major change of pace. This masterpiece had a perfectly toasted panini bread with vegan Gouda cheese a bed of zest arugula, olive oil, angel sweet tomatoes and a perfectly seasoned impossible meat patty. This sandwich was spectacular and was filling! The notes of the angel sweet tomatoes danced along with the arugula and played a balancing act with the tasty and perfectly seasoned impossible meat patty. To make certain I have no bias I decided to make another trip at a different time this time inviting a friend and ordering another panini (Cheesy Friend Pizza and added roast beef) which I have never tried. We were met with extreme hospitality, this Panini was epically good (perfectly toasted Panini with roast beef, tangy blue cheese layered with olive tapenade, along with creamy mozzarella, paired with sun dried julienne cut tomatoes and a house white sauce. Every bite filled delight will cause eventhose who are tethered to extreme time constraints to take a step back, a deep breath, and be present and slow down to sit back and savor each bite. This panini was filling and divine and changed my life. We sat back finishing our paninis even when it began to rain and were delight we took the time to come to this quaint outdoor picnic tables space and enjoy transcendent food, drink, and good conversation. Thank you PaniniK for your hospitality and for your kindness and life changing (in a fantastic way) food. My friend took a pause on their first bite realizing they were eating something special and needed to take some time slow down and enjoy the experience. For dessert we had Cannollis they were rich and extremely delicious we will Triumphantly return!!!

This spot is delicious and a huge vibe. I love coming here for a sandwich and smoothie while the courtyard it sits in has a gorgeous ambience of nature. Service is also excellent coming from the two lovely chefs inside. They are both so sweet and talented.

I ordered the migas, and the amount of onions in the dish was overwhelming--so much so that it felt like I had ordered a plate of onions rather than migas. The masa cakes were definitely the standout item and were absolutely delicious. However, the rest of the dish fell short. The sauce was extremely rich, making it difficult to enjoy or finish the meal. That said, the restaurant itself is adorable, and our waiter was fantastic. The service and atmosphere were both great. While this breakfast wasn't a hit for me, I'll still return and stick with favorites like the fried green tomatoes and taquito salad, which were excellent during my previous visit.

Their burger is easily one of the best I've had in Austin, especially paired with their thin, crispy fries. It's my go-to order almost every time. One thing I love is that they switch up the steak portion of the menu a few times a year, and it never disappoints. Right now they have the steak au poivre, which is incredible, although I'm still craving their steak frites and hoping it makes a comeback. The escargot and French onion soup are also favorites of mine. At this point, June's has become a staple in our house--usually with a couple of Diet Cokes and either the burger or whatever steak they're featuring. A few of my friends swear by the chicken sandwich (fair warning: it can get a little messy!), the half roasted chicken, and the tuna crudo, so you really can't go wrong no matter what you order. On top of the amazing food, the staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming, which keeps us coming back. I definitely recommend making a reservation since it tends to get pretty busy, especially during peak hours.
