Bucky even brought out two glasses of Sauternes to help celebrate the occasion and made my GF's heart melt. every staff that touched the table was so nice and personable. thanks again for the amazing night!! couldn't of been better!!!

The bacon was super nice, the mustard on the burger was ridiculously yummy. Did I mention those confit potatoes? Haha yeah I did, they were, off the chain, a dill garnish and some orange aioli that set it off!! The inside although we didn't spend much time inside was super cute, and has that riverfront done well vibe! A place you want to be in! This would have been 5 stars BUT The 18$ Bloody Mary! This was a TRAVESTY! It reads so well on paper....... Then you get it, it was the most flaccid Bloody Mary I have EVER had! It was basically a tomato juice and possibly maybe somewhere in there was any hint of some vodka, not the vodka that it advertised. The weak ass 4 little tiny pieces of prosciutto and cheese was a sad excuse for the oversold garnish. If the food wasn't as good as it was, this place would have gotten a 3 stars for overall. Note to the owner: Please revamp this ASAP! There's a huge culture behind a solid Bloody Mary and it's not hard to perfect one. It needs spice and life and it was just sad. Ok back to the review... From what I understand this is a family run business & those are my favorite places to eat. Walking in this place is small with a table & 2 chairs. There's more seating outside. Now that their liquor license is in place, 'PopUp kingdom' has a great new flagship location in the…read moreheart of the Peoria baseball stadium/warehouse district. And we highly recommend a visit, especially if you are familiar with the brand! Like the BloNo location there are at least two entrances - the one further west is for a good sized hosting/ordering/waiting area while the one closest to the ballpark has more direct access to the bar area, but is way more space-restricted and will likely be a traffic jam on game days. If you're looking for a table, both entrances open to the rest of the cool 'industrial chic' dining areas in the form of a large street-level open concept dining area and a good sized split-level (up 3-4 steps) back room - which despite having wide entrances that make it feel part of the larger space, likely can easily be cordoned-off for private functions. One visit in and the lady and I (plus our friend and former Ptown bartender) can say that the food was every bit the same top-quality, large portion, methodically cooked and creatively accented sandwiches and wraps, served in old school pie pans with red-white check paper liners, that we are used to. The weekend special shaved ribeye Cali burrito was particularly epic, cementing what seems to be the first of the 3 or 4 things that keep the crowds coming back. The second thing is the creativity and discernment applied to bar side - in the form of the beer menu, which is initially focused on bottles/cans since they just received the liquor license the day before our arrival. Despite this there was a good mix of 'domestics' and at least 20 quality craft options from 6 or 8 fantastic breweries representing a good variety of styles but leaning like those at the original location - that is, a few more IPAs and 'sweet sours'. They also maintain a thoughtful and inventive cocktail list and will NO DOUBT start building up the whiskey/bourbon collection in the coming weeks. Although having high quality and fairly compensated employees helps immensely, the last thing that really drives their business is something we often say three times - location... In this case, it's literally less than a block from home plate. Easy to find. Easy to love. We'll certainly be back!

Seeing the constant influx of customers right at supper time told me this place has to be good. Everything is sold separately and they have a little bit of something for everyone. Honestly, I could probably have used a few more pickles but that's me. You can choose your heat level too. The potatoes with dill were so good! Portions are decent too. The fish meal included a salad bar and fries. I rarely see a salad bar offered ANYWHERE anymore; it wasn't much, but it was good. The fish and fries were decent... you have the option on walleye, cod, or a mix. The initial serving is 4 pieces of fish. I opted to do the mix (2 of each). Definitely liked the walleye best. The cod was decent, but also a bit more chewy that the walleye. The fish wasn't quite as flaky as I would have liked, so not sure if it was the quality of the filets or how they were cooked. Nonetheless, the meal was good and reasonably priced for an all-you-can-eat. It was a bit out of the way for us, so not sure I would make the longer trip for the fish, but it was definitely worth the try.
