We decided to try this restaurant and we were not disappointed! The food is amazing! The gravy to the biscuits and gravy is very flavorful! The shrimp and grits have shaved Parmesan which takes it to another level. It will definitely be my new breakfast place when I'm in town. We had pretty good service while there, no complaints. Inside has a decent amount of seating. The noise level was low compared to other restaurants I've been too, which I liked. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend you stop by and give it a try!

I ordered breakfast to go from Childer's in Junction City. This is the last time I'll go to this restaurant. They forgot to give me the fresh juice I ordered and I had to ask for it. She said it wasn't shown on the ticket, however I paid for it and it showed up in my order confirmation. Then brought me a different juice claiming to be out of the one I ordered. It wasn't bad but it wasn't what I ordered and if it's juiced fresh to order, why didn't they just juice more? When I opened the carton to eat, I found toast that couldn't have been any blacker and burnt on one side if they had tried on purpose. I can't believe someone thought it was Ok to put that toast in my order! If they don't think anything of giving me food that is bad to the eye, it makes a person wonder what bad food they would be willing to give you when you can't actually tell it's bad. Food not stored properly, old and expired, is the kitchen clean, do the cooks wash their hands after using the restroom, do they pick food up off the floor when dropped? It really makes me wonder!? The manager said she would give me a free juice and make the toast right if I would give them another chance. Look at the picture, what do you think?

Came here for breakfast. I love the menu and the variety. All three of us enjoyed our meals. I like that they have unique options. Their cheddar biscuits and gravy is delicious! The biscuits were perfectly cooked. I had a basic meal of eggs, bacon, and toast. It was cooked perfectly! The caramel latte was good as well but don't put a cherry on coffee. It just doesn't go. I do like whip cream on my latte.

Seated quickly and pleasantly. Bfast special ROCKED- Bfast sandwich with a FRIED GLAZED DONUT bun. Ham/cheese/egg yoke coating ooooh myyyyyyy. Plz add to everyday menu!!

She recommended the Cuban Pulled Pork Sandwich. My sandwich was huge and contained a large portion of pulled pork meat. It was delicious and the homemade chipotle bbq mayo made it all the more satisfying with its rich smoky flavor! The Cuban-style black beans were right out of Miami! Very nicely prepared and included green peas, carrots, corn, and bell peppers, as well. My dining companion, for her part, ordered the Falafel platter, with a side order of gyro meat. The falafel (a dozen), were fresh, tasty, and just the right consistency. These were served with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pita, and hummus. The side order of gyro meat featured a generous portion of decadently succulent lamb shavings and included two portions of homemade tzatziki sauce. Everything we ate was prepared to perfection and could easily compete with exceptional restaurants in Chicago! Yes, the food at One World is that good. As for the service, our waitress Quincy was friendly and professional. As for the ambiance and decor--we arrived ahead of the lunch crowd, so it was pretty quiet. The decor, however, is nicely done. The premises were clean and well maintained. Ditto the restrooms. The restaurant is actually huge. There are multiple dining areas and in the summer there is an outside patio behind the restaurant, as well. As for pricing and affordability--quality costs, and the food here is definitely a cut above. That being said, the owners have priced the entrees quite reasonably considering the generous portion-size and quality of the food. My overall opinion? If you want a dining experience worthy of comparison to the best Chicagoland has to offer, but don't want to make the long drive--or pay twice as much--then I highly recommend this little gem of a locally-owned restaurant in Peoria!

I got the thai chicken pizza and it was SO good. The hot honey was a little sweeter than I expected, however the jalepeno balanced it well. I don't know if our server disappeared or something but we waited 30-45 minutes to get our check which was semi-frustrating. Anyways, 10/10 food. Very unique. Very different. I recommend!!!

I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fresh fruit. . The chicken came as ordered, plain, with a side of honey mustard. The fruit was also very fresh! Everything was very tasty! My friends ordered the tenderloin and unfortunately I can't remember my other friend's order. They did say the enjoyed the food and too home the extras to finish. I thought my server was wonderful. I am currently on a low salt diet and she did her best to accommodate my needs. After she found out the tenderloin only came breaded she checked to make sure that would be okay, which it wasn't, but helped me order something else. She also didn't charge me extra for the fruit since I was unable to have a side. The cafe was very busy, but not too noisy, except for maybe one person who was seated across from us. This place 520 has become our family breakfast on Saturday mornings when we visit. The place is always busy. Sometimes we gotta wait on a table but they usually move pretty quick. On thus trip I talked to the owner as I was paying and told him how good everything was and how far we drove and had to drive home. Oscar is his name and is a great guy. As I was paying he fiddled with the register and as he gave me my change he slipped me a gift card. I was kinda taken back a little and we talked a little more then I went back to the table to finish our coffee to get ready to leave. I got to say the staff here is spot on. Never did we want for anything. The food was great and coffee was delicious. So we pack up the kids and go out to the cars to transfer bags and luggage when I turn around and here comes Oscar the owner. Evidently I dropped the card he had given me. He came right out and we talked a little more to the point I feel we made new friends with each other. I totally recommend eating here. You won't be disappointed. Bring your kids and family and enjoy a great home style breakfast. It's great!

Ryan was my waitress, and she was hands down one of the best servers I've ever had. Her customer service was truly top tier. She came by right away, introduced herself, and brought me both coffee and water. Instead of spending time looking over the menu, I told her exactly what I was in the mood for, and she went above and beyond by creating the perfect combo for me. I ordered eggs, sausage, hash browns, and blueberry pancakes. Ryan told me all about their homemade blueberry syrup, that it was made fresh from scratch daily and wow, she wasn't kidding, it was great! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. There were fresh blueberries not only in the pancakes but also in the syrup, which made the meal even better. The restaurant itself was also really nice, very open and spacious, with plenty of seating. Even if all the tables were filled, there was still more than enough room to walk around comfortably. I also loved the festive touch of the Christmas tree right inside the restaurant; it made the space feel warm and welcoming. While it was a little on the pricey side for one person, the quality of the food and the overall experience was great. What impressed me the most, though, was how kind, genuine, and attentive Ryan was throughout my visit. She truly made the experience memorable and as far as I'm concerned she's the best waitress you have! I was happy to let her know that she was going above and beyond, y'all better hold on to her!
